1 Distributin Cde Review Panel HSE Prcedures fr Electrical Safety Rules Pursuant t the requirement f Distributin Cde Review Panel (DCRP) DOC5.1, Licensed Distributrs (and their agents) and Distributin System Users (and their agents) are required t Operate in accrdance with apprved Safety Rules, in rder t ensure safe wrking cnditins fr Persns wrking n r in clse prximity t Distributin System electrical apparatus and Plant and fr Persns wh may have t wrk r use Distributin System electrical apparatus and Plant at an interface. Qualificatin & Experience requirement f ESR Instructr Qualificatin requirement Electrical Bachelr Degree attested by Embassy f the Cuntry and Ministry f Freign Affairs 3 years Diplma in Electrical Engineering attested by Embassy f the Cuntry and Ministry f Freign Affairs Experience 2 Years 4 years ii. The License Validity Perid: The validity f the license will be fr 1 year. iii. Authrized Electrical Safety Rules Assessr ( AESRA ): The Authrized Electrical Safety Rules Assessr (AESRA) must fulfill the belw requirements: i. The licensee Authrized Electrical Safety Rules Assessr (AESRA) must be frm DCRP. ii. The licensee must Hlds Electrical bachelr Degree in Pwer Systems and Energy. iii. The licensee must have +4 years experience in Distributin Electrical wrks f the fllwings: - 33kv and cnstructin ff 33/11kv substatin - 11kV O/H lines and U/G cables and cnstructin f 11/0.415 kv substatins - 415V L.T. lines extensins and building services and Wiring f Buildings iv. The licensee must have deep backgrund and experience n Electrical Prducts used in the Distributin Netwrk system. v. The licensee must pass Assessment sessin cnducted by HSE sectin.

3 iv. Eligibility I. The applicant fr ESR Instructr shall fulfill the qualificatin requirements. II. the applicant must pass assessment training cnducted by Authrized Electrical Safety Rules Assessr ( AESRA ) III. The applicant must be a permanent emplyee with the Electrical Safety Rules curse prvider. IV. The applicant must pass Theretical Assessment and Qualifying Interview. v. Verificatin The fllwing dcuments shuld be prduced fr verificatin: 5.1.1Qualificatin certificate/s. (Nt less than as specified in -1 abve) Other related dcuments mentined in the applicatin frms i.e. CV, Experience Certificates, valid passprt and visa page cpy, Valid resident card. vi. Fees In additin t the applicatin frm fees, the applicant fulfilling all requirements shall pay fllwing fees as shwn in Table Belw. S. N Type f Assessment Fees Payable 1 Exam fees and shall paid fr 5 O.R. each repeated exam 2 Issuance fees 50 O.R. 3 Renewal fees 50 O.R. 5 License Lst Charge 10 O.R. 6 Changing Spnsrship Charge 10 O.R. The abve fees will be depsit - after reviewing applicatin - at any branch f Muscat Bank using ur receipt vucher given t satisfactry Applicants, the fees paid is nn refundable.

Infrmatin abut the Assessments: T prepare fr the Assessments, the applicant shall refer t Oman Electrical Standards (OES) & Electrical Safety Rules Dcuments prepared by ne f DCRP members (RAEC, MZEC, MJEC, MEDC, DPC). viii. Types f exam: The exam shall include tw parts: A. Theretical Assessment B. Qualifying Interview And the applicants must pass bth types in rder t receive ESR Instructr license. ix. Prcedure f Issuing Electrician license: All ESR instructr licenses shall be issued frm DCRP, after the applicant has passed bth theretical assessment and qualifying Interview. x. Cancellatin f License DCRP has the right t cancel the license in case f license hlder fund delinquent. The prcedure fr dealing with defaulting licensee shall be as fllws:- - Send First Warning letter in the first blunder - Send Final warning letter in the secnd blunder - Cancel the license in the third blunder xi. Renewal - The licensee shall submit his applicatin fr renewal three mnth befre the expiry f the existing license. - ESR instructrs with expired license will nt be allwed t cnduct the training curse unless he renewed his/her license.
