Tenderer is preferred with experience certificate having completed similar work satisfactorily. 2. The tenderer may visit the site and familiarize themselves thoroughly with the site condition / equipments and system before submitting the Tender if they desire. For site visit, the Tenderer may contact Engineer-in- Charge with prior permission of undersigned on any working day during working hours before submitting the Tender. 3. The Tender will have to be submitted in one sealed cover containing separate sealed Technical Bid & Price Bid by RPAD / Speed post only. If the covers are found to be submitted without seal, the offer / Tender will be disqualified. It is necessary to write Tender Number, Name of Work & Due Date on the top of covers of Main Bid. 4. GSECL will not accept any responsibility for delayed receipt of the Tender. 5. Conditional Tender will not be accepted. 6. Withdrawal of condition unilaterally after opening of Tender will not be permitted unless and until called for the negotiation by GSECL. 7. A copy of PAN Number / TIN No. / Service Tax Registration No. must be submitted with the technical bid. 8. Contractor shall comply with the Factory Acts, Labour Laws and Safety Laws in force and amended from time to time. 9. Any other rules and regulations, conditions, etc. that are in force at present and that may be framed by the GSECL from time to time in connection with the Contracts will be binding and acceptable to the tenderer. 10. The offers without EMD will be rejected without any correspondence. 11. The successful Contractor has to pay the required security deposit within the time limit and if they fail to come forward to pay security deposit, the full amount of EMD paid will be forfeited by the GSECL. 12. The Tenderer should authorize the qualified authentic representative to GSECL who in turn will receive instructions from GSECL's Engineer-in-charge to execute the work. All formalities as per GSECL s procedure are to be obeyed by representatives of tenderer / bidder. 13. The tenderer should intimate / provide the details of their office and names, addresses and mobile number of the authorized & responsible representative in writing so that they can be contacted when required in connection with execution of the said work. 14. The Party shall have to do all related works as per site requirement and as per instruction of Engineer in Charge. 15. Tenderer shall indemnify GSECL against any injury and / or damages that may be caused to his man or material. Moreover, the Contractor is fully responsible for any damages caused to the GSECL s properties / men, done by his men & materials while executing the work. The GSECL will be entitled to recover the damages from the Party at an actual. 16. At any time if GSECL feels that work progress and performance of work is unsatisfactory and work force of Contractor is inadequate, GSECL will engage other agencies / departmental personnel in parallel for expediting the work & amount so incurred will be recovered from the Contractor s bill. In this case the decision of Engineer-In-Charge shall be final and binding to the Contractor. 17. Party shall submit the bills along with required documents in triplicate. 18. Payment will be made for actual work done only. 19. Subletting the Contract to other agency is not permitted unless and otherwise approved by the competent authority. 20. For any ambiguity and conflict, the decision of the Chief Engineer (O&M.), GSECL, SSHEP (O&M), Kevadia Colony shall be final and binding to the Contractor. 21. The Chief Engineer (O&M.), GSECL, SSHEP (O&M), Kevadia Colony reserves the right to reject any Tender or all Tenders without assigning any reasons thereof and to split up the work between more than one Party as the case may be to expedite the work and / or to ascertain the reliability of the work within stipulated period. 22. The GSECL reserves the right to terminate the Contract in full or part at any time without giving notice of termination or any reason without entertaining any claims / compensations to party. 23. VALIDITY OF OFFER: All tender / quotation shall be opened for acceptance by the GSECL for a period of 120 days from the date of opening of the tenders and the tenderer shall be bound to work on such acceptance. 24. The bidder can visit this office and survey of all above items before submitting the offer. 2. Specifications: The work shall be carried out according to relevant specifications and as per condition mentioned / directed by Engineer-In-Charge. 3. The details of computers & peripherals which are required to be repaired during contract period are as mentioned below. A. COMPUTERS: (Total 53 Nos.) - Processor: AMD dual core / Intel core 2 duo / P4 - Monitor: 15 / 17 Colour - Hard Disc: 20/40/80 GB HDD - RAM: 256/512MB/1GB - CD ROM / CD RW / COMBO - Key Board / Optical Mouse B. PRINTERS: - Samsung ML Nos. - Samsung ML Nos. - Samsung ML-1520P - 02 Nos. - Samsung ML Nos. - Canon LBP 6018B - 05 Nos. - HP Laser Jet Nos. 4. The defective computers & peripherals will be available at GSECL adm. office, Kevadia Colony for repairs. GSECL will not handover the defective computers & peripherals at your Ex-office. You shall have to attend the defects within 07 (Seven) days from the date of letter / mail or telephonic instruction of Engineer-In- Charge. 5. The peripheral parts, installed and commissioned under the contract must be new, unused and of the most recent or current models and incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials unless provided otherwise in the contract. The defective parts will be handed over to authorized person of this office. 6. You will have to provide minimum 01 year warrantee for the parts replaced by you. You should provide free maintenance services during the period of warrantee for replaced new parts / components from the date of replaced of new part. 7. Chief Engineer [O&M], GSECL, SSHEP, Kevadia Colony shall promptly notify the contractor in writing of any claims arising under this warrantee. 8. Upon receipt of such notice, the contractor shall, with all reasonable period, as may be decided by owner, which decision shall be final & binding, repair or replace the defective components or parts there, without costs to the owner. 9. If your work is not found satisfactorily and as per the terms of the contact, GSECL reserves right to cancel the contract and contract will be awarded to other party at your risk and cost. 10. The decision of under signed will be final in case of any dispute. Page 6 of 12

7 11. Experience: The bidder who has successfully executed such type of work with GUVNL or its subsidiary company / Government Organizations will be given preference irrespective of quoted price. Bidder shall have to submit the certificate for the satisfactory completion of work for the work order executed by them. 11. Contract Period: The time limit for the rate contact will be 11 [Eleven] months from the date of issue of work order. 12. Security Deposit: The successful bidder shall have to pay Security of Contract Value within 15 (Fifteen) days before placing of work order by Cash / Demand Draft or in form of Bank Guarantee of nationalized banks only. Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited payable on State Bank of India, Kevadia Colony Branch. Security Deposit will be released after successful completion of contract & NOC received from Engineer-In-Charge. 13. Payment: Payment will be made for actual works done only as per GSECL terms & conditions. Payment will be made within 30 days from the date of submission of bill by multicity cheque RTGS to the received advance stamp receipt. However if bill is pre-receipted, advance stamp receipt would not be required. Bill should be submitted in triplicate in the name of Chief Engineer (O & M), GSECL, SSHEP, Kevadia Colony. Quantity shown in Schedule-B is tentative and GSECL may increase or decrease this quantity as per the requirement. GSECL is not binding to execute the complete quantity as shown in Schedule-B.
