1 Edwin Analytics: Finance Hw t use the Finance Cube Part 1: Data Guide An ad-hc cube is available t prvide insight int schl and district finances, cnnecting financial infrmatin, student, teacher and schl building data. The cube ges a step beynd the five available reprts by facilitating mre in-depth and flexible querying allwing the user t tailr the query t his needs. The cube is available t users with access t schl and district aggregate reprts within the Educatin Data Warehuse (EDW). 3 Cube Structure If yu ve used pivt tables in Micrsft Excel, the cube interface shuld lk pretty familiar. The viewing pane n the left (utlined in red in Figure 3) cntains the dimensins and measures available fr use in the cube. They can be dragged and drpped int the crsstab (utlined in green in Figure 3). The crsstab lets yu cmpare and cntrast values between r acrss items and must include at least tw dimensins (ne in the Rws sectin and ne in the Clumns sectin) and ne measure.
