1 General Terms and Conditions on BOC Credit Card Up to HK$4,000 Cash Rebate Program : 1. BOC Credit Card Up to HK$4,000 Cash Rebate Program (the Promotion ) is only applicable to BOC Credit Card, BOC Dual Currency Credit Card and all BOC Co-branded Cards issued in Hong Kong bearing the logo (the Applicable Card ), excluding BOC Credit Card issued in the mainland and Macao, USD Credit Card, Great Wall International Card, Private Label Card, BOC Purchasing Card, BOC Prepaid Card, BOC Express Cash Card and Intown Card. 2. The Promotion commences from 1 November 2018 to 28 February 2019 (both dates inclusive) (the Promotion Period ). The entire Promotion Period is divided into 4 phases by every calendar month Phase 1: 1 to 30 November 2018, Phase 2: 1 to 31 December 2018, Phase 3: 1 to 31 January 2019 and Phase 4: 1 to 28 February While the Promotion Period of Tax Payment offer (refer to clause 26 to 33 for definition) is only applicable from 1 November to 31 December 2018 (both dates inclusive) (the Tax Payment Promotion Period ). 3. The registration period of the Promotion commences from 10:00 on 1 November 2018 to 23:59 on 28 February 2019 (the Registration Period ). To participate the Promotion, cardholder must enter the correct information and register via the 24-hour registration hotline at , BOCHK Mobile Application or the BOCHK Credit Card Official Account (WeChat ID: BOCHK_CC) in WeChat once during the Registration Period (the Registration ) and the Registration reference number will be announced when the Registration is successful. The Promotion is subject to a quota limitation of Registration and only applicable to the first 55,000 successfully registered cardholders. The Registration quota is calculated and based on the computer record of the BOC Credit Card (International) Limited (the Company ) and is on a first-come-first-served basis. 4. For cardholders with more than one Applicable Card account, they have to make Registration only once with any one of the Applicable Card. Registration and Eligible Transaction emanating from a supplementary card will be combined with those from the main card to be calculated towards the cash rebate. All the Applicable Card accounts of the cardholder will be automatically combined for the calculation of the entitled cash rebate. The cash rebate will be automatically credited to the first registered main card account. If a cardholder registers more than once, the cash rebate will be posted to the first successfully registered credit card account. No cash rebate will be awarded if the cardholder registers/ spends with an inapplicable card other than the Applicable Card. 5. Designated Mobile Payment Method (refers to the contactless payment made with Applicable Card that has been provisioned on the designated mobile phone or device) includes BoC Pay, WeChat Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and/or UnionPay App. Individual Designated Mobile Payment Method may not be applicable to individual Applicable Card, please refer to BOC Credit Card website for details. 6. Eligible Transaction includes the retail spending transaction made in Hong Kong, outside Hong Kong and/or online with single spending transaction amount of HK$600 or above (counted by the posted amount of the transaction), but excluding any transactions made via AlipayHK, the supermarket physical stores transaction made at PARKnSHOP and the brands under PARKnSHOP, the physical

2 stores and online transaction made at Wing On Travel and any transactions made at SOGO department store (only applicable to January and February 2019), instant reward offer, Cash Before Cash amount, autopay, Octopus Automatic Add Value, instalment transaction (including cash instalment, statement instalment, online bill payment instalment and the monthly payment of the merchant interest-free instalment), annual fee, finance charges, arrangement fee, gift redemption fee, gift delivery service charge, payment for public utilities/bill payment (including but not limited to payment of tax, telecommunication or utilities bills), payment with credit card via internet banking or online payment system to designated merchants (for examples but not limited to PayPal or Alipay), fax/phone/mail order, purchase and/or reload of stored value cards or e-wallets, products/services transactions at financial/non-financial institutions (including but not limited to deposits and money transfers), casino transaction, transactions on charity donations, mutual funds payment, insurance transactions, balance transfer amount, speculation transactions and any unauthorized transactions. Eligible Transaction shall be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Company. 7. Eligible Foreign Currency Transaction includes the retail spending transactions made outside Hong Kong and/or online which settled in currencies except Hong Kong Dollar. 8. Eligible Local Dining Transaction includes the dining spending transaction made in Hong Kong, but excluding the spending on/at banquet services, private parties/functions, private room events, dining outlets in department stores, social/sports associations or clubhouses or such other non-dining merchants and non-acceptable dining spending as may be defined from time to time by UnionPay International, Visa Worldwide Pte. Limited and MasterCard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited according to their respective merchant category. 9. All Eligible Transaction, Eligible Foreign Currency Transaction and Eligible Local Dining Transaction must be completed during the Promotion Period and posted on or before 7 March While the transaction of Tax Payment offer (refer to clause 26 to 33 for definition) must be posted on or before 7 January For the Eligible Transaction and Eligible Foreign Currency Transaction made by BOC Dual Currency Credit Card in CNY, every CNY 1 spent will be calculated as HK$ Once the Registration has been completed, the information provided will be recorded and cannot be cancelled, altered or exchanged. The Registration record announced via the Registration system is only for reference and cannot be taken as confirmation of the final result. The Company will determine the eligibility of each transaction by matching the cardholder transaction records held by the Company and the relevant data provided. If the information from the cardholders differs from those of the Company records, the latter shall be final and conclusive. 12. The Promotion only accepts spending transaction with sales slip(s)/ electronic payment slips. Cardholders must retain all original transaction sales slips for reference. In case of any dispute, the Company reserves the right to request a cardholder to provide the original transaction sales slip(s) and/or such further documentation or evidence for verification at any time during or after the

3 Promotion. All sales slips and/or such further documentation submitted to the Company will not be returned. 13. Any fraudulent, unauthorized, unposted, cancelled or refunded transaction will not be deemed as the Eligible Transaction. 14. Only cardholders whose credit card accounts are valid and in good standing during the entire Promotion Period and at the time the cash rebate being awarded will be eligible to the promotion and the reward. In the event of termination of the credit card account, violation of the Card User Agreement or forfeiture of the cash rebate reward during the Promotion or at the time the reward is being awarded, the cash rebate will be cancelled automatically forthwith. 15. The cash rebate cannot be refunded, transferred, resold, or redeemed for cash or other gift items. All cash rebate awarded is only for retail spending after the cash rebate being awarded and cannot be used to offset any cash advance, finance charge or outstanding balance incurred before the cash rebate being awarded. 16. The cash rebate will be credited to the first successfully registered eligible credit card account on or before 31 May 2019 upon verification of the transaction details/ promotional event record and will be posted in the May or June 2019 monthly statement of the cardholder. 17. No cash rebate will be awarded to cardholders who have neither duly made Eligible Transaction nor failed to meet the required criteria of the Promotion within the Promotion Period, nor registered within the Registration Period with the correct information. 18. Any fraud and abuse will result in the forfeiture of a cardholder s eligibility to participate in the Promotion. Should the transaction be canceled after the cash rebate being awarded, the eligibility will be forfeited. The Company reserves the right to take legal action in such instance. 19. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. 20. Apple Pay is the trademark of Apple Inc., registered in US and other countries. For compatible devices and more details about Apple Pay, please refer to Google Pay is the trademarks of Google Inc. Google Pay works with NFC capable Android devices running Android Lollipop 5.0 or higher. Google Pay logo is trademark of Google Inc.. Samsung Pay is a trademark of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Samsung Pay only supports NFC payment. For compatible devices and more details about Samsung Pay, please refer to The Company reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Promotion or its terms and conditions without prior notice and the right of final decision on all the matters and disputes.

No person other than the cardholders and the Company will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provisions of these terms and conditions. 23. Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and the Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail. Terms and Conditions on the Cash Rebate Offer for Eligible Transaction of the Promotion: 24. During the Promotion Period, cardholders who accumulate the designated amount of Eligible Transaction below with Applicable Card per phase, will be entitled to the cash rebate on Eligible Foreign Currency Transaction and Eligible Local Dining Transaction below: Cash rebate entitled upon meeting accumulated eligible Spending Categories transaction per phase Reached HK$8,000 or above Reached HK$18,000 or above Eligible Foreign Currency Transaction 3% 5% Eligible Local Dining Transaction 2% 4% Maximum cash rebate per phase HK$240 HK$900 Each main cardholder (counted by the number of Proof of Identity) will only be entitled to a maximum of HK$3,600 cash rebate for this offer during the entire Promotion Period. The total award of cash rebate shall be rounded to the nearest dollar. 25. Moreover, cardholders who make any retail spending transaction for at least once with Applicable Card via the Designated Mobile Payment Method continuously for every phase of the Promotion Period (the Eligible Mobile Payment Transaction ), will be entitled to an extra HK$100 cash rebate. This offer is only applicable to the first 15,000 cardholders who made the Registration and Eligible Mobile Payment Transaction successfully. Each main cardholder (counted by the number of Proof of Identity) will only be entitled to a maximum of HK$100 cash rebate for this offer during the entire Promotion Period. Terms and Conditions on the Cash Rebate Offer for Tax Payment of the Promotion: 26. Cash Rebate Offer for Tax Payment is only applicable to a cardholder paying personal tax or on behalf of a third party for the individual salaries taxes, personal assessment, profit taxes, property taxes (the Eligible Tax Payment ), but not applicable to business registration payment and purchase of tax coupon.

During the Tax Payment Promotion Period, cardholders who make the Eligible Tax Payment with the below designated amount by Applicable Card, will be entitled to the below cash rebate: Eligible Tax Payment Amount HK$15,000 HK$49,999 HK$50,000 HK$99,999 HK$100,000 HK$199,999 HK$200,000 or above Cash Rebate HK$50 HK$100 HK$200 HK$ Each main cardholder (counted by the number of Proof of Identity) will only be entitled to a maximum of HK$300 cash rebate for this offer during the entire Tax Payment Promotion Period, while the cash rebate will only be counting on the cardholders single highest Eligible Tax Payment amount during the Tax Payment Promotion Period. 29. Cardholders can make the Eligible Tax Payment by Applicable Card using online bill payment service or Jet Payment service via a JETCO ATM. 30. Cardholders who make the Eligible Tax Payment by using online bill payment service, agree to be bound by the relevant terms and conditions (to find out more about the relevant terms and conditions, please visit or call our customer services hotline at ). 31. All approved tax payment applications are irrevocable. 32. The tax payment amount cannot exceed a cardholder s available credit limit. If the tax payment amount exceeds cardholder s available credit limit and cardholder is paying his/her own tax bill, the Company may arrange a temporary increase of the credit limit for tax payment upon customer s request. The final credit limit is subject to cardholder s credit status at the time of application. In considering for the credit limit adjustment, the Company may have to access to cardholder s credit report, and the Company may require additional documents, if necessary, subject to cardholder s credit status. The Company reserves the right of final approval. 33. BOC Commercial Card daily maximum limit for tax payment is HK$30,000 or the available limit of cardholder s BOC Credit Card (whichever is lower). Personal BOC Credit Card daily maximum limit for online tax payment is HK$500,000 or the available limit of cardholder s BOC Credit Card (whichever is lower). The daily maximum limit for tax payment using Jet Payment service via a JETCO ATM is HK$20,000 or the available limit of cardholder s BOC Credit Card (whichever is lower).
