Netball Victria Psitin Overview: The Banyule & Districts Netball Assciatin (BDNA) is an affiliated member f Netball Victria. It was frmed in 1995 with the gal f assisting yung players in the Banyule cmmunity t be invlved in sprt. BDNA ffers netball cmpetitins frm NETSETGO level thrugh t pen-age and mixed cmpetitins. The rle f the Cmpetitin Crdinatr - On-site is t perfrm all n-site crdinatin fr ur Saturday BDNA cmpetitin. Key Duties and Respnsilibities: Liaise with Cmpetitin Crdinatr - Administratr t crdinate BDNA Administratin fr Saturday cmpetitin. This invlves: Liaise with BDNA clubs and entity teams. Grading (seasn setup and curt hire t be managed by Cmpetitin Crdinatr - Administratr). Administratin f MyNetball system. Maintenance f Ggle Dcs sheets. Assist Cmpetitin Crdinatr - Administratr with crdinatin f BDNA Net Set G and Schl Hliday Prgrams, where required. Crdinate pre-day BDNA turnament(s) in cnjunctin with Cmpetitin Crdinatr - Administratr. Manage turnament days n-site (currently 1-2 Sundays/year). Liaise with Cmpetitin Crdinatr - Administratr in management f BDNA accunt.
3 Assist with creatin f news items n BDNA website and Facebk page, in cnjunctin with Cmpetitin Crdinatr - Administratr and BDNA Cmmunicatins vlunteers, where required. Creatin and maintenance f cmpetitin recrds necessary fr the effective peratins f BDNA. Prvide Cmpetitin Crdinatr - Administratr with regular and timely advice cncerning the peratins f the Assciatin n cmpetitin days. This may include written reprts, if required. Attend BDNA Bard meetings if requested. Relevant Experience: Netball experience and a gd wrking knwledge f the rules f netball. Previus experience crdinating a netball cmpetitin an advantage. Gd wrking knwledge f Ggle Mail (Gmail) and Ggle applicatins such as Drive, Dcs, Sheets and Calendar. Experience using cmputerised systems, including database systems. Familiarity with CMS website administratin (preferably Jmla!). Familiarity with Facebk Page administratin. Experience using MyNetball an advantage. Ability t wrk unsupervised. Persnal Attributes: Excellent interpersnal skills and an ability t cmmunicate with Bard, clubs, umpires, caches and players. Strng custmer fcus essential. Gd time management skills. Ability t adapt quickly t changes in technlgy. A desire t strive fr excellence in ne s wrk and an appreciatin f this trait in thers.
4 Review f Duties: The BDNA Emplyment Cmmittee will review the duties and functins f the psitin annually n behalf f the BDNA Bard. Expectatins: The Cmpetitin C-rdinatr - On-site is expected t lead the way and act as a psitive rle mdel in prvisin f a safe and healthy envirnment. Any actins which cmprmise BDNA s legal bligatins r the gd reputatin f BDNA will nt be tlerated.
5 Schedule Of Additinal Terms And Cnditins: 1 Hurs f wrk Apprximately 8 hurs f wrk per week as negtiated with the President f BDNA, specifically: Saturday: 8:00am 4:00pm 2 Additinal hurs 3 Pay perid Mnday Sunday. Additinal wrk shall nt be undertaken withut pre-apprval frm the Emplyment Cmmittee, BDNA. Additinal wrk requests shall be made at least 24 hurs prir t the cmmencement f any additinal wrk. It is expected that there will be mre hurs at the beginning f each seasn, and prir t seasnal events such as turnaments. 4 Payment f wages Payment will be made by Carl Park in cash r via EFTPOS each Saturday. 5 Time sheets Cmpleted time sheets, detailing duties perfrmed fr each day are t be submitted t Carl Park, n later than Saturday f each week fr apprval. 6 Emplyment review 7 Emplyment perid 8 Cmpeting business This agreement shall be reviewed annually. The cntents f this agreement can be reviewed at any time at the request f either party. Onging. Subject t annual review. During the perid f yur emplyment under this agreement, the emplyee shall nt be emplyed by r therwise engage in r be interested in any business in cmpetitin with BDNA, r with any f its subsidiaries r affiliates, except that the emplyee s investment in any such business shall nt be cnsidered a vilatin f this paragraph if either (a) the emplyee wns less than 25% f the equity theref, r (b) such business is nt in cmpetitin with BDNA. 9 Ntices Any ntice required r permitted t be given under this agreement shall be sufficient if in writing and sent by registered mail t the President f BDNA.
