1 2016 Paris Breakfast Run Regulations I/ THE EVENT The Paris Breakfast Run (hereinafter the Event ) is a non-timed sports event which is open to the public. Participants cover around five kilometres in an urban environment on a route which is closed to traffic. The Event will take place on Saturday 3 rd April It begins on the Avenue Foch and finishes on Place Joffre in Paris. The Event is organised by Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.) SA with a capital of 1,200,240 euros, registered on the Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés de Nanterre under number It is headquartered at Issy-les-Moulineaux cedex (92137), 253 Quai de Stalingrad. II/ PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS Anyone born in 2004 or earlier may take part in the Event. For minors, parental consent is compulsory. A parental consent form must be completed and signed by a legal representative. It must be presented with a photocopy of the proof of identity of the legal representative, when the t- shirts are collected. III/ REGISTRATION Registration for the Event may only be done online through the ASO Challenges platform: The Registration fees are published on the Event page of the Schneider Electric Paris Marathon website http: The organisation may limit the number of participants in the race for safety reasons. Registration is firm and definitive. Registration fees cannot be refunded for any reason whatsoever. Registrations cannot be transferred under any circumstances. An identity check will be carried when participants collect their t-shirt. Anyone who gives his t-shirt to a third party will be held responsible in the event of an accident caused by or involving this third party during the Event. The organisation declines all responsibility should such an accident occur. The t-shirt must be worn throughout the race. IV/ COLLECTION OF T-SHIRTS Everyone who registers for the Paris Breakfast Run must collect their t-shirt at the Salon du Running, located at the Parc des Expositions, Hall No. 1 - Porte de Versailles Paris on: o Thursday 31st April from 3pm to 8pm or o Friday 1st April from 10am to 8pm OR

2 o On the day of the race, on Saturday 2 nd April from 8am to 8.30am, on the Avenue Foch (intersection of the Avenue Malakoff and the Avenue Poincaré)

3 All participants must have proof of identity in order to collect their t-shirts. Minors must also present a completed parental consent form signed by a legal representative and a photocopy of the proof of identity of the legal representative. Participants must wear their 2016 Paris Breakfast Run t-shirts in order to be authorised to start the race and to have access to the breakfast at the finish line. V/ COURSE Participants must respect the direction and the boundaries of the course, which will be indicated using tape, barriers or banners. Participants claim to be fit to undertake the continuous physical effort required to cover a distance of 5km, particularly running. The Event is not timed. It is crucial that participants remain behind the vehicles opening the race and respect the pace dictated by these vehicles. For safety reasons, and to ensure that the race runs smoothly, participants are, under no circumstances, permitted to overtake these vehicles. VI/RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT In order to respect the environment in which the event takes place, it is strictly forbidden to leave litter (paper, plastic wrappers) on the course. Bins will be provided. Participants must make use of them when disposing of waste. Participants must hold onto their litter and wrappers and wait until they reach the places set up by the organisation to dispose of them. VII/ SANCTIONS Any of the following violations which are observed by a member of the organisation will result in disqualification: - Running against the direction of the race, - Straying from the course, - Dangerous or aggressive behaviour, - Disposing of waste along the course. VIII INSURANCE Civil liability In accordance with current legislation, A.S.O. has taken out insurance covering the financial consequences of its civil liability, that of its officials and that of all the participants in the Paris Breakfast Run. As for the civil liability of the participants themselves, the afore-mentioned insurance policy will only cover accidents caused by participants during the sporting event. This guarantee can apply in addition to or in lieu of other insurance policies that participants might take out. A copy of the insurance policy is available to all participants upon request. IX/ MODIFICATION CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT The organising company reserves the right to change the route and/or the location of refreshment stands at any time. In the event of poor weather conditions, and to ensure the safety of the

4 participants, the organisation reserves the right to delay the start time, to stop the Event, or to cancel it. X/IMAGE RIGHTS By participating in the Event, the participant gives his express permission for the organising company, its delegates and its successors to use and reproduce, in any medium and by any means, now and in the future, with no compensation of any kind, his name, voice, image, and, more generally, his athletic performance at the Event, in any form, in any existing or future medium, in any format, for public communication throughout the world, for any use including advertising and/or commercial purposes, and for the entire duration of the protection granted by current copyright laws and regulations, judicial and/or arbitral decisions issued in any country, and existing or future international conventions, including those that may result in the extension of this duration. Participants grant their full and irrevocable permission, without remuneration of any kind, to the organising company, its dependants, and its successors, for the purposes of conducting advertising, promotional or sales campaigns to: 1) Make any changes, additions or deletions which it judges necessary to use his or her image under the conditions defined below; 2) Include or combine his or her image with any signatures, hooks, slogans, legends, brands, distinctive signs, legal information, visuals and, generally speaking, anything of any kind which the organiser uses, particularly to illustrate communications material in which they are used. The participant guarantees that he is not bound by an exclusive contract relating to the use of his image and/or name and/or voice. The organising company, its delegates and its successors are expressly forbidden from using a participant s name, voice or image in any format of a pornographic, racist or xenophobic nature, and more generally are forbidden from any use that is detrimental to the participant s dignity. XI/ DATA PROTECTION The organising company agrees to respect the confidentiality of personal information communicated by the participants in the Event, and to process them this information within the law. Information collated from participants will be recorded and used by the organising company to ensure their participation in the event is processed correctly, to personalise communication with them and, for those who have given their agreement when they created their account, to send information to them. - Information and offers from A.S.O. Challenges partners. It may be necessary for the organising company to securely transfer certain data, including personal data, to third parties in order to carry out tasks relevant to taking part in the race, organising the delivery of goods and the provision of services, preventing fraud and, more generally, any other criminal activity, and for certain customer service actions. Moreover, the organising company may be required to share this data in response to an injunction by the legal or regulatory authorities. In accordance with the provisions laid out by French law no of 6 th January 1978, modified by law no of 6 th August 2004, on information technology, databases and civil liberties, each a participant has the right to access, rectify and delete data concerning himself, free of charge. In doing so, the participant can demand that any information concerning him which is incorrect, incomplete, ambiguous, or no longer valid, or whose collection, use, communication or storage is forbidden, be rectified, completed, clarified, updated or deleted. The Internet user s data is stored either by A.S.O. or by the subcontractor(s) it selects specifically for the fulfilment of its obligations. Data is stored in accordance with the afore-mentioned Data Protection Act for a duration determined by the purpose of the data processing in question. Our processing of the data we collect has been declared to the CNIL (French Data Protection Agency). XII/ APPLICABLE LAW - DISPUTES These regulations are governed by French law. Any claims, particularly in the event of injury, must be made in writing, in French or in English, mentioning the full name of the participant, and must be addressed to the organising company's headquarters within 5 (five) days of the Event. No claims will be accepted beyond this time.in the event of an inconsistency between the French and English versions of the present 2015 Paris Breakfast Run Regulations, the French version of the 2015 Paris Breakfast Run Regulations shall prevail. XIII/ NEWSLETTER By registering for the Event, the participant is automatically subscribed to the event s newsletters and must remain so until the Event takes place. These newsletters will allow participants to receive all the practical information necessary to prepare the Event and to ensure it goes smoothly. XIV/ ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATIONS Participation in the Event implies each participant's express agreement with the regulations filed with Maître Astrid Desagneaux, a scrutineer in Paris 8 th arrondissement, situated at 4 Rue Quentin Bauchat.
