1 RULES THE CHALLENGE The MUD DAY KIDS Challenge (hereinafter: Challenge ) is a sporting challenge for children between the ages of 7 and 11 years (born between 2005 and 2009, inclusive) in search of surpassing themselves and mutual assistance. The children will be asked to race around a 500-meter circular course dotted with 7 obstacles which they can repeat as many times as they want within a 30-minute time limit. Crawling, running, jumping, climbing, carrying sacks they will be trying to behave like grown-ups more or less. Since, although the obstacles of the event were directly inspired by the adult version, they have all been adapted for children and will be supervised by a competent staff in order to ensure their safety. The estimated time of the race is about 30 minutes. The children, together with their companions, may then enjoy the Kids entertainment available to them. A child will be authorized to participate only in the race dedicated to him. Under no circumstances will he be allowed to have access to obstacles of the adult course. Supervision of the child at the Mud Day site is the responsibility of his companion. The participation of the child in the Challenge implies the explicit acceptance of these rules by the child s legal representatives.

2 REGISTRATION Registration for the challenges may be done only on the A.S.O. Challenges platform ( The rates are available on the Challenge website at this address: themudday.com. For reasons of safety, the organizer may decide to limit the number of participants. Every commitment is personal, firm and final. There will be no refunds for any reason whatsoever. No transfer of a registration will be authorized for any reason whatsoever. An identity check will be carried out at reception on the day of the CHALLENGE. CLOTHING Wearing a track suit is strongly recommended for crossing obstacles. A t-shirt and bib will be given to each child before the start of the race. The telephone number of the companion must be written in the space provided for this purpose on the child s bib. A cloakroom will be made available. Provide a change of clothing. We strongly recommend not wearing jewelry or any object of value. THE COURSE All the information on the courses is available at our website: themudday.com Each companion must be present at the starting line of the Challenge according to the schedule which will be sent to him regarding the time the child is to be called. The children must keep within the direction and borders of the course indicated by the nets, ribbons and banners. The children must obey the instructions of the supervisors present at each obstacle of the course. The organizers reserve the right to exclude a child whose behavior is likely to disrupt the orderly progress of the CHALLENGE or is likely to endanger the safety of other children or the hosts. The children will have to complete a 500 meter ring dotted with 7 obstacles, repeating it as many times as they wish within the 30 minute time limit. REFRESHMENTS Refreshments will be provided for the children at the end of the race.

3 USE OF DRONES: The participants have been notified that on the day of the Challenge, drones will be used for the purpose of filming, and that during all or part of his participation in the Challenge, he may find himself within 30 meters of such a drone. The participants have been notified that zones defined previously by the operator and identified by means of multicolored plots will be set up, access to which is strictly forbidden to the public and the participants, in order to permit landing in case of a flying incident. GIVING UP Except in case of injury, if a child wishes to give up, he should go to one of the supervisors present at each obstacle. SAFETY Medical assistance will be provided by doctors and mobile rescue units. The latter will be alerted, in case of need, by the supervisors distributed over the courses and equipped with radio transmitters. In case of need, and in the interests of the rescued person, the rescue teams will be called in. They will then take over the management of operations and take all the appropriate steps. INSURANCE Public liability In accordance with the legislation in force, the organizers have taken out insurance covering the financial consequences of their public liability and that of their employees. Proof will be sent to any participant upon request. Individual accident Legal representatives may take out insurance, immediately by letter or later on the day of the Challenge, guaranteeing the payment of a sum in case of bodily harm (death or permanent disability) due to an accident occurring on the course, whether or not he is responsible and whether or not a third party is responsible. Depending on the injury, compensation will be given if the insured person is the victim of an accident during his participation in the sporting event. This insurance is optional but strongly recommended. It may be taken out in addition to or in the absence of the same type of insurance held by way of a sports license. 4 Material damage The organizer declines all responsibility in the event of theft, breakage or loss of personal belongings of participants during the course. It is therefore the responsibility of the legal representatives, if they deem it necessary, to take out insurance. CHANGE CANCELLATION OF THE CHALLENGE In the event of bad weather, and in order to ensure the safety of participants, the organizer reserves the right to postpone the starting time, to stop the Challenge or to cancel it. TIMING The challenge for children is not timed. The course has been designed to take less than thirty minutes. USE OF IMAGES The legal representatives expressly authorize the organizer, its successors or assignees to set or reproduce, in any medium and by any means, and consequently to reproduce and represent, without compensation of any kind, the name, voice, image, and more generally the sporting performance of their child in the framework of the Challenge, in any form, on any existing or future medium, in any format, for any communication to the public worldwide, for any use, including for advertising and/or commercial purposes, and for the entire period of protection currently granted in matters of copyright by the legislative or regulatory provisions, judicial and/or arbitration decision in any country, as well as current or future international conventions, including any extensions that may be made to that period. The legal representatives expressly and irrevocably authorize the organizer, its successors or assignees, in response to the needs of advertising, promotional and/or commercial campaigns (1) to make any modification, addition, deletion which it deems useful for the exploitation of the image of their child under the conditions defined above, (2) to associate and/or combine with his image any signatures, attachments, slogans, trademarks, distinctive signs, legal notices, and in general, any element of any kind at the choice of the organizer intended to illustrate the communications media into which they have been integrated. The legal representatives guarantee that their child is not bound by any exclusivity contract in connection with the use of his image and/or name and/or voice. The organizer, its successors and assignees are expressly forbidden to make use of the name, voice or image of participants in a medium with a pornographic, racist or xenophobic character, and more generally are forbidden any use which is prejudicial to the dignity of the participants.

NEWSLETTER A compulsory condition for registering for the Challenge is that the person registering must subscribe to the newsletters of this Challenge until the starting date of the Challenge. These newsletters will permit the companions/legal representatives to receive all the practical information necessary for the preparation and smooth running of the Challenge.
