SEQ example when the funding is different Need to prorate when at least one column has different funding than the others. The only items which go to the 100 ths place are Mobilization Field Office ITEMS DESCRIPTION UNITS ESTIMATED Field Laboratory Traffic Control (TH1) (TH 22) (A) 100% CITY OF CROCKER FUNDS FIELD OFFICE TYPE D LUMP SUM FIELD LABORATORY TYPE DX EACH MAINTENANCE & RESTORATION OF HAUL ROALUMP SUM CLEARING & GRUBBING LUMP SUM TRAFFIC CONTROL LUMP SUM S SS TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL SYSTEM SYSTEM Lump sum must equal 1. Exceptions to this rule might be for signals and/or lighting. If we can show signals by the column instead of a note it would be shown to the 100 ths place. December

SEQ example when the funding is different For the other Lump Sum items (other than the four prorated items) the quantity goes to the 10ths place. Always place a zero in front of a decimal point if no other number is there.. ITEMS DESCRIPTION UNITS ESTIMATED (TH1) When the quantity is too small to split then the quantity goes STATEMENT under OF the ESTIMATED prime QUANTITIES SP column. (TH 22) (A) 100% CITY OF CROCKER FUNDS FIELD OFFICE TYPE D LUMP SUM FIELD LABORATORY TYPE DX EACH TRAFFIC CONTROL LUMP SUM TURF ESTABLISHMENT LUMP SUM ITEMS DESCRIPTION UNITS ESTIMATED (TH1) (TH 22) (A) 100% CITY OF CROCKER FUNDS FIELD OFFICE TYPE D LUMP SUM FIELD LABORATORY TYPE DX EACH TRAFFIC CONTROL LUMP SUM TURF ESTABLISHMENT LUMP SUM 1 1 December

SEQ example when the funding is the same. The four prorated items (Mobilization, Field Office, Field Laboratory, Traffic Control) should only have the quantity in the total column. ITEMS DESCRIPTION UNITS ESTIMATED (TH1) FIELD OFFICE TYPE D LUMP SUM FIELD LABORATORY TYPE DX EACH MAINTENANCE & RESTORATION OF HAUL ROALUMP SUM TRAFFIC CONTROL LUMP SUM TURF ESTABLISHMENT LUMP SUM 1 1 (TH 22) SP (TH 31) For nonprorated lump sum items show the quantity under the prime SP# column. 26 TIED PLANS When plans are tied the SEQs are treated as one SEQ. Lump Sum items added up from all plans cannot exceed a quantity of one. Pay items must match, you can t have individual turf establishment items in one plan and turf establishment by the lump sum in the other plan. You can t have CONCRETE MEDIAN by SQ YD in one plan and LIN FT in the other they need to be the same pay item (e.g. treated like one SEQ). If using the same special (e.g. CONST. DRAINAGE STRUCTURE DESIGN SPECIAL) in both plans they have to be the exact same special design, otherwise one should be a SPECIAL 1. December

PLAN A TIED PLANS On tied plans certain items have to be in all plans if in one plan such as the prorata items. ITEMS DESCRIPTION UNITS ESTIMATED (TH1) 100% CITY OF CROCKER FUNDS MOBILIZATION LUMP SUM COMBINATION FIELD LABORATOYR-OFFICE (1) LUMP SUM MAINTENANCE & RESTORATION OF HAUL ROADS LUMP SUM TRAFFIC CONTROL LUMP SUM T TURF ESTABLISHMENT LUMP SUM (1) SHALL BE TYPE D SERVICE. Make sure the notes are the same too for shared items (see 2031 above). December

PLAN A TIED PLANS When the funding is different for at least one of the columns in any of the plans; the prorated items need to be divided between all the columns. ITEMS DESCRIPTION UNITS ESTIMATED (TH1) 100% CITY OF CROCKER FUNDS MOBILIZATION LUMP SUM COMBINATION FIELD LABORATOYR-OFFICE (1) LUMP SUM MAINTENANCE & RESTORATION OF HAUL ROADS LUMP SUM TRAFFIC CONTROL LUMP SUM T TURF ESTABLISHMENT LUMP SUM 1 1 PLAN B (1) SHALL BE TYPE D SERVICE. The lump sum items go under the prime SP unless you feel strongly about splitting them. If that is the case they would only go to the 10ths place. December

TIED PLANS When the funding is the same in all columns of all plans then the quantity is placed PLAN A under the total column. It can all be left blank, or placed under the prime column as well if desired. ITEMS DESCRIPTION UNITS ESTIMATED COMBINATION FIELD LABORATOYR-OFFICE (1) LUMP SUM MAINTENANCE & RESTORATION OF HAUL ROADS LUMP SUM TRAFFIC CONTROL LUMP SUM 1 T TURF ESTABLISHMENT LUMP SUM 1 (TH1) 100% CITY OF CROCKER FUNDS PLAN B (1) SHALL BE TYPE D SERVICE.
