ADDITIONAL SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: Permit Requirements All applicatins fr a temprary use/special event zning permit shall prvide the fllwing infrmatin in additin the infrmatin prvided in this applicatin: Per Sectin f the Lillingtn UDO the fllwing Temprary Uses/Special Events have specific requirements: Prduce Sales, Seasnal Outdr Sales & Other Similar Uses: Such temprary uses shall nt exceed 90 cnsecutive days and n mre than 2 events per calendar year. Hurs f peratin shall be limited t 7:00 AM 10:00 PM. Cntractr s Office and Equipment/Strage Sheds: Cntractr's ffice and/r equipment/strage sheds may be placed in any district temprarily n the site f cnstructin f a develpment fr which plans have been apprved. All such equipment shall be remved upn cmpletin f develpment. Real Estate Office in a Cnstructin Trailer r Temprary Mdular Unit: One temprary structure, such as a cnstructin trailer r temprary mdular unit may be used as a real estate sales ffice in any new cnstructin prject in any district. Such a temprary structure shall be used fr the sale f units within that prject nly. Temprary real estate ffices in cnstructin trailers r temprary mdular units may remain n the site until the develpment cmpletin date. Real Estate Office in a Mdel Hme: A mdel dwelling may be used as a real estate sales ffice in a new residential develpment in any District. Such a mdel hme/sales ffice may be used fr the sale f units within that prject nly. Large Events (Bazaars, Festivals, Carnivals, Fars, Circuses, Cncerts & Similar Outdr Gatherings with the ttal anticipated assembly f 3,000 r mre peple and duratin f 2 r mre days per calendar year n an individual parcel r site). The fllwing infrmatin is required as part f the applicatin prcess a minimum f 30 days prir t the planned event: Anticipated attendance, including previus attendance figures; Anticipated number f days needed t prepare lcatin fr use; Means f activity cntainment (i.e. fencing, security, etc.); Event security, crwd cntrl and traffic safety measures. Prvisins fr these must be apprved by the Lillingtn Plice Department;

4 Lcatin f temprary signage; Existing land uses f all adjacent prperties; Lcatin f restrm facilities; Methd and lcatin f garbage impundment and means f remval; Lcatin and methd f site lighting; Adequate access fr emergency vehicles; Applicant is respnsible fr btaining all ther applicable permits, such as building permits, ABC licenses, and health department apprval. Prf f applicatin fr these permits must be submitted with the zning permit applicatin. All inspectins and permits required by the building cde, fire marshal, r applicable gvernment agency must be received. A temprary use shall last nly as lng as that time perid stated in the permit but shall nt exceed 140 days within a calendar year n any individual lt. Duratin f a zning permit fr temprary use/special event is intended t include days perated, r attended by persns nt emplyed by r vlunteering t wrk at the event and des nt include the setup, takedwn, clean up, r rehearsal days f the event. The applicant is respnsible fr fully remving frm the site any structures allwed as temprary uses and als any garbage r rubbish resulting frm the temprary use within 3 days after the expiratin f the zning permit. Each day after the expiratin f the permit in which applicant fails t fully remve a structure r garbage r rubbish shall be deemed a vilatin f this rdinance. Temprary uses shall be limited t a maximum duratin f 14 days, unless therwise specifically authrized r extended by the Administratr. A permittee may request an extensin f the apprval term in writing befre the expiratin f the riginal apprval term and the Administratr may apprve an extensin upn a finding that the special event has substantially cmplied with all cnditins f the riginal apprval, and that the extensin will nt create substantial adverse impacts n adjacent prperties. Maximum number f events per prperty: within any single calendar year, the same prperty may hst n mre than ten special events. The temprary use permits fr these special events may be reviewed and apprved cncurrently. A minimum f 14 days shall lapse between special events n any ne prperty. Any temprary use/special event invlving usage f a public street/prperty shall require Bard f Cmmissiner apprval. Fees The Zning Permit fee is $ Please be advised that additinal permit applicatins and fees may be required depending n the scpe f wrk assciated with each prject. A cmprehensive list f fees can be fund in the Lillingtn Fee Schedule fr the current fiscal year. Building Trade Permits The Twn f Lillingtn issues all trade permits fr wrk within the crprate limits r the extraterritrial jurisdictin (ETJ). Harnett Cunty Inspectins is cntracted by the twn fr plan review and inspectins. Cnstructin plans fr review are submitted directly t the Twn f Lillingtn. Plans are subsequently transmitted t the cunty fr review after zning apprval. Please cntact Harnett Cunty Central Permitting at r harnett.rg/permits fr any trade-related questins. Fire Marshal Review The Twn f Lillingtn cntracts with the Harnett Cunty Fire Marshal s Office fr prjects requiring fire cde apprval. Fire cde plan review applicatins are permitted separately and submitted directly t the cunty fr review. Please cntact Harnett Cunty Central Permitting at r harnett.rg/permits fr further infrmatin. Zning Permits fr Signs A separate zning permit fr a sign is required fr the erectin all signage in Lillingtn. Permit applicatins are available at lillingtn.rg/permits. Fr further assistance, please cntact the Twn Planner at Sketch Plan Infrmatin Sketch plan shall be prvided with all Temprary Use/Special Event permit applicatins and shall include the fllwing infrmatin: The shape and dimensins f the lt t be used and ttal acreage in the lt. Prpsed layut f existing streets r driveways. The lcatin f the prpsed uses, structures, vehicles n the prperty.
