1 With TWTR up 18.5% today 1 and now AMZN, GOOGL and MSFT up 7.9%, 3.8%, and 3.8% after hours on earnings; respectively the QQQ (ETF that tracks the NASDAQ) is up 1% after hours too. Thus, the ideal standard impulse on the NASDAQ (Figure 1A) continues to be in favor. Price should now be in minute-v of (green) minor-3 targeting around $6765. Since the equivalent of this minute-v wave is a micro-5 of minute-iii on the S&P, I continue to favor the count shown in the hourly chart (Figure 1B). Minor-4 on the NAS will then equal minute-iv on the S&P, etc. The ideal target for all of (red) intermediate-v is $6850, which is where green minor-5 equals the 1.764x extension of minor-1, measured from 2, and where major-3 equals 3.000x major-1, measured from 2. BINGO!? Figure 1. NAS daily chart and S&P hourly chart: minute-v of minor-3 and micro-5 of minute-iv; respectively underway. 544 A B 1 Please see the premium member page for an update with price targets, as well as many other recently updated analyzes of different stocks and ETFs In fact please make it a daily habit to check as I posted about 2 updates per day 1 P a g e
2 Hence, the targets from yesterday for the S&P remain the same: a micro-5=1 relationship targets SPX2596. The ideal (extended) 5 th wave target zone for micro-5 are the to 3.000x 1 extensions; equaling SPX On the S&P daily chart some of the Technical Indicators (TIs) are starting to point back up. A green close tomorrow, will make the A.I. also turn back up, which gave a non-ideal sell. Price remains above all trendlines and SMA thus the trend continues to be up short term to longer term. Simple. Figure 2. S&P daily TI chart: SPX 2600 next?! 2 P a g e
3 The S&P500 s McClellan Oscillator (MO) ended Tuesday at -16; and the SPX-SI (Summation Index of the MO) is therefore now still pointing down. The similarities with early April 2016 remain as back then price was in minute-iv of minor-3 of intermediate-iii of major-1, which is equivalent to the current micro-4 of minute-iii of minor-5 of major- 3. The NAMO reached the buyable bottom range (-40 to -60) yesterday as it dropped to -47, and recovered today. This low reading fits with a minute-iv of minor-3 low. Figure 3. SPXSI remains in similar setup as during early April NAMO bounced back from buyable bottom level. B 3 P a g e
4 In conclusion: The preferred count remains that a micro-4 low was struck at SPX2544 yesterday, and price should now be in micro-5 to SPX , and ideally SPX2596. This count already fit better with the NAS yesterday, but due to the strong rally in QQQ after hours based on the earnings rallies in AMZN, GOOGL, MSFT it now fits even better with the NAS. The NAS should reach $6765 for minor-3. ALOHA Soul, Ph.D. 2017, Intelligent Investing, LLC.
