3 Membership Classifications The Board of Directors of the Country Club of Culpeper has established the following classifications of Membership: Full Equity Full Equity members are entitled to full use of the facilities including golf, tennis, swimming, fitness, and dining and social events. Full Equity members are not required to pay green fees or court fees but are required to pay golf cart fees. Membership provides privileges for member s spouse/significant other and unmarried dependent children under the age of twenty-five. Full Equity membership provides the member with voting privileges in the Club as outlined in the Club s By-Laws. Stock purchase required. Two-year promissory note required. Initiation Fee $ 6, (currently $0) Required Stock Purchase Monthly Capital Fund $ Food & Beverage Minimum Membership Dues: 25 and under $

4 Individual Full Equity Individual Full Equity members are entitled to full use of the facilities including golf, tennis, swimming, fitness, dining and social events. Individual Full Equity members are not required to pay green fees but are required to pay golf cart fees. Membership provides privileges for the individual member, member s spouse/significant other and unmarried dependent children under the age of twenty-five may attend as a guest. Individual Full Equity membership provides the member with voting privileges in the Club as outlined in the Club s By-Laws. Stock purchase is required. Two-year promissory note required. 5 Athletic Athletic members are entitled to use of the following facilities: swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness room, dining and social events. Athletic members may play golf 12 times per year and must pay green fees and golf cart fees. Athletic members are not eligible to play in golf tournaments. Membership provides privileges for member s spouse/significant other and unmarried dependent children under the age of twenty-five. Stock purchase is optional. Two-year promissory note required. 6 Pool Pool members are permitted to use the pool, dining and social events. Pool Members are eligible to participate on the Swim Team at a discounted rate (separate fees are applicable). Membership provides privileges for member s spouse/significant other and unmarried dependent children under the age of twenty-five. Stock purchase is optional. One year promissory note required. Initiation Fee $2, (currently $0) Membership Dues: $110.00

7 Social Social Members are entitled to use the Club s dining facilities and to attend all social events. Membership provides privileges for member s spouse/significant other and unmarried dependent children under the age of twenty-five. There are no golf, tennis, pool or fitness privileges associated with this membership. Stock purchase is optional. Twoyear promissory note required. Initiation Fee $ (currently $0) Monthly Capital Fund $ Food & Beverage Minimum Membership Dues: $ Non-Resident Non-Resident membership is available to those living outside of Culpeper, Madison, Rappahannock, Fauquier, Stafford, Orange and Spotsylvania Counties. Non-Resident members are entitled to full use of the facilities including golf, tennis, swimming, dining and social events. Memberships provides privileges for member s spouse/significant other and unmarried dependent children under the age of twenty-five. Stock purchase is optional. 11 Country Club of Culpeper Membership Application Agreement In making this application, I hereby permit the Country Club of Culpeper, Inc. to make any credit inquiries it deems necessary. I accept that my application will be posted for membership review, and be subject to review by the Membership Committee and the Board of Directors prior to final acceptance. I declare and agree that I will comply with the current and future Club Constitution, By-Laws, Rules, Regulations and Customs and that I accept full responsibility for such compliance by all members of my family (where applicable) and by my guests. I agree to pay all Club dues, reserve fees, activity fees, daily fees and charges and assessments levied by the Board of Directors according to the payment schedules set forth in the Rules and Regulations. Failure to pay these fees will result in monthly finance charges of 10%, possible suspension of club privileges, and in some circumstances, termination of membership. The member shall be responsible for all reasonable attorneys fees and court costs in the event collection efforts are initiated by the Country Club of Culpeper, Inc. I irrevocably agree that permissive venue shall be in Culpeper County, Virginia. Application must be accompanied by a check for the (a) Initiation Fee and (b) Stock Fee where applicable. The deposit shall not be construed as consideration for acceptance into the club membership until officially approved by the Board of Directors. 12 Country Club of Culpeper 24-Month Promissory Note Membership Category Date: The undersigned agrees to maintain their membership with The Country Club of Culpeper for a minimum of 24 months from the date of first billing. Borrower waives presentment for payment, demand, protest, and notice of non-payment and expressly waives the benefit of the exemptions, homestead or otherwise, which they may have by virtue of the constitution or laws of this or any other state, insofar as the same can be waived. Borrower reserves the right to make full or partial prepayment of all dues monthly dues and fees at any time prior to the end date. In the event this note is placed in the hands of an attorney for collection, or suit is brought on it, or any portion thereof, or if collected by any court proceedings, Borrower shall pay all costs including reasonable attorney s fees for collection. Upon non-payment of any applicable monthly dues and fees, the entire balance shall at once become due and payable at the option of note holder and interest shall accrue on the entire balance from such date at the rate of 10% per month on any open balance. Failure to exercise this option shall not waive the right to exercise it upon any later default. The obligation of this note shall be joint and several if made by more than one.
