2 Invitation to Sponsor Dear Sponsors The Organising Committee is pleased to invite you to participate in the Project Governance and Controls Symposium (PGCS) 2016 to be held on May 2016 at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) thanks to the continued platinum sponsorship by the University of New South Wales Canberra. PGCS is the only Australasian symposium dedicated to promoting project performance management and will again focus on the disciplines of project control and program, portfolio and project governance. The PGCS is Australia s only autonomous not for profit organisation working to develop a world-class symposium focused on the two interlinked themes of project, program and portfolio governance and 'project controls'. With a unique focus on Australian Federal Government, the PGCS aims to improve project and program delivery outcomes. The program will have the following three tracks: knowledge development (education) practitioner academic/research (UNSW Canberra controlled). The program will include: workshops symposium sessions trade exhibition.

3 Promotion of the PGCS 2016 Symposium The symposium will be advertised extensively throughout Australasia. Promotion will include: direct mail/ - distribution of the symposium announcements and registration brochure e-marketing - regular blasts promoting program updates, key dates and featured speakers the PGCS 2016 Symposium web site sponsors will be acknowledged on the symposium web site promotion at other industry related activities. Welcome Reception An invitation is extended by the symposium committee, for one (1) representative, per trade table display, to attend the Welcome Reception as their guest. Catering Morning/afternoon teas and lunches for one (1) representative each day. Registration One (1) person as a complimentary delegate to be able to attend sessions as well as staffing company trade display during the breaks. The PGCS 2016 Symposium Trade Display Details The trade display will be held on Wednesday 11 May and Thursday 12 May Maximum traffic flow will be encouraged by the placement of catering stations at key points in the trade display area for morning and afternoon tea as well as by constant referral. 5 Terms and Conditions In the event of the withdrawal of a sponsorship booking, Consec - Conference and Event Management should be notified in writing as soon as possible. Please note that a refund of fees paid (less a cancellation fee of 50% of the value) will be made to a sponsor cancelling before or on 1 March No refunds will be made after that date. Trade table displays will be allocated strictly in order of receipt of applications and deposit monies and the symposium manager s decision will be final. Sponsors will not be permitted to move in or be listed in the symposium handbook until full payment has been received. The Project Governance and Controls Symposium, Consec Conference and Event Management and the Australian Defence Force Academy will not be liable for injuries to any person or damages to property owned or controlled by sponsors. Regarding claims for damages or injuries that may arise from or be in any way connected with exhibitor occupation or display space, the sponsor agrees to defend indemnity and hold the Organising Committee harmless against all such claims. The sponsor agrees to insure itself at its own expense against property loss or damage and for public liability or personal injury and liability for property damage. Sponsors are strongly advised to insure goods during transit and while on display, against damage/loss, however caused, as well as public liability. In addition, the sponsor acknowledges that the PGCS 2016 Symposium and Consec Conference and Event Management do not maintain insurance covering any sponsor s property and that it is the sole responsibility of the sponsor to obtain public liability, business interruption and property damage insurance covering such loss by a sponsor. All sponsors must have a current public liability insurance cover for their trade table. Sponsors may be required to submit a public liability insurance certificate along with their booking form. Participants shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for injury to person or property, including baggage, during the symposium. We strongly recommend that at the time of booking you take out a travel insurance policy of your choice. The policy taken should include the loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, financial loss incurred through disruption due to strikes or other industrial action. The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.
