It highlights the mai features ad beefits ad sigificat exclusios ad limits of the policy to help you decide if the policy meets your eeds. A sigificat exclusio is somethig that may affect your decisio o whether the policy is suitable for you; it may also be uusual compared to other home isurace products i the market. Accidetal damage icludes cover for damage caused by accidets such as if you put your foot through your ceilig while you are i the loft or you spill pait o your carpet. Cotets cover If you choose our cotets cover you ca exted it to iclude cover for persoal belogigs ad valuables that you have with you whe you re away from home. This allows you to accumulate a discout o your premium at each reewal (up to a maximum of 20%) if you do t make a claim uder the sectios metioed below. If a claim is made uder ay of these sectios the NCD uder that sectio will be reduced to il. Sectios eligible for NCD: Buildigs Cotets Portable possessios Claims made uder other sectios will ot affect the NCD. However there are circumstaces where the automatic limit of 750,000 will ot apply. Examples iclude the property havig more tha five bedrooms or the property beig let to teats ad also where you have chose our Workig from Home extesio. I such circumstaces, you choose your ow sum isured. Sigificat exclusios ad limitatios The most we will pay is up to 750,000 or the sum isured you have chose. If the limit or sum isured you choose is ot adequate, we will reduce ay claim you make i proportio to the amout you are uderisured by. I order for your cover to cotiue uaffected you must advise us of ay plaed buildig works where the estimated value of the works exceeds 25,000 ad before the sigig of ay cotract which removes or limits your legal rights agaist a cotractor or buildig firm. Cover for your home, icludig garages ad outbuildigs, agaist damage by a rage of evets such as fire, theft, subsidece, storm or flood ad escape of water or oil. See the policy documet for the full list of evets that we cover. We iclude storm damage to gates, hedges ad feces if your mai buildig, garage or outbuildig is damaged at the same time. Otherwise we exclude storm damage to gates, hedges ad feces. If your home is left uoccupied for more tha 60 cosecutive days, we exclude theft, vadalism, storm or flood, water freezig ad damage caused by escape of water or oil. For storm or flood we exclude damage which is solely attributable to a chage i the level of the water table. Accidetal breakage of fixed glass (which icludes double-glazig) saitaryware ad ceramic hobs or tops. If your home is left uoccupied for more tha 60 cosecutive days, we exclude cover. Accidetal damage to udergroud services icludig the cost of clearig blockages. Up to the limit or the sum isured you have selected. Cover for valuables such as jewellery, gold or silver, clocks, watches, furs, works of art, stamp, coi or medal collectios whilst i your home. Stadard limit for ay oe item or collectio 3,500. Overall limit (uless you have selected your ow cotets sum isured): for 1 or 2 bedroom properties 10,000 for 3 bedroom properties 15,000 for 4 or 5 bedroom properties 20,000 If you have chose your ow cotets sum isured the overall limit for valuables is 35% of the cotets sum isured. If we kow that you are still payig for the carava, trailer tet or luggage trailer uder a hire purchase or leasig agreemet, we will pay the hire or lease compay if the carava, trailer tet or luggage trailer is lost or it would ot be ecoomical to repair the damage.
