3 Credit ad other checks If you apply for a credit / loa product we will perform a credit search, where we check details of your credit history with certai credit referece agecies, who will keep a record of that search (icludig details about your applicatio with us, whether or ot it is successful). For a short period of time this ca affect your ability to get credit elsewhere. If the results idicate that the credit product that you are seekig would ot be suitable, your applicatio may be declied ad we will tell you. If your applicatio is accepted we may file details about you ad how you maage your accout at credit referece agecies. If you are applyig for credit with aother perso (such as with a spouse or busiess parter), a fiacial lik betwee the two of you will be created at the credit referece agecy. Idetity verificatio ad fraud prevetio checks The persoal data we ve collected from you at applicatio or at ay stage will be shared with fraud prevetio agecies who will use it to prevet fraud ad moey-lauderig ad to verify your idetity. If fraud is detected, you could be refused certai services, fiace or employmet i future. We may also search ad use our iteral records for these purposes. Credit referece checks If you ve applied for a credit product the i order to process your applicatio, we ll perform credit ad idetity checks o you at your home address with oe or more credit referece agecies. To do this we ll supply your persoal data to the credit referece agecies ad they ll give us iformatio about you. Whe we carry out a search at the credit referece agecies they ll place a footprit o your credit file. A credit search may either be: a) a quotatio search where a soft footprit is left. This has o effect o your credit score, ad leders are uable to see this; or b) a hard footprit where you ve agreed/ requested Satader to proceed with your applicatio for credit. This footprit will be viewable by other leders ad may affect your ability to get credit elsewhere. (A credit search is ot carried out if you are uder 18 or you apply for a Basic Curret Accout.) We ll also cotiue to exchage iformatio about you with credit referece agecies while you have a relatioship with us. The credit referece agecies may i tur share your persoal iformatio with other orgaisatios. Details about your applicatio (whether or ot it s successful) will be recorded ad we ll give details of your accouts ad how you maage them to credit referece agecies. If you do ot repay ay debt i full or o time, they ll record the outstadig debt ad supply this iformatio to others performig similar checks, to trace your whereabouts ad to recover debts that you owe. Records remai o file for 6 years after they are closed, whether settled by you or defaulted. A fiacial associatio lik betwee joit applicats will be created at the credit referece agecies. This will lik your fiacial records ad be take ito accout i all future applicatios by either or both of you util either of you apply for a otice of disassociatio with the credit referece agecies. If you re over 18, we may search the files at credit referece agecies before sedig marketig commuicatios or doig marketig i-brach to you about credit. The credit referece agecies do t record this particular search or show it to other leders ad it wo t affect your credit ratig. We do this as part of our resposible ledig obligatios which is withi our legitimate iterests. If you have previously told us that you do t wat iformatio o other products ad services or to be icluded i market research, we ll cotiue to respect your wishes. Automated decisio makig ad processig Automated decisio makig ivolves processig your persoal data without huma itervetio to evaluate your persoal situatio such as your ecoomic positio, persoal prefereces, iterests or behaviour, for istace i relatio to trasactios o your accouts, your paymets to other providers, ad triggers ad evets such as accout opeig aiversaries ad maturity dates. 6 Persoal Loas TermsadCoditios Terms ad Coditios These example Terms ad Coditios will form part of your Agreemet with us should you apply for ad be accepted for a Persoal Loa with us. You will eter a Cosumer Credit Agreemet regulated by the Cosumer Credit Act 1974 ad a Credit Agreemet (comprisig a agreemet betwee you ad us ad icludig these terms ad coditios) will be set to you for sigature followig your successful applicatio. 1 Your repaymets You agree to pay us the Total Amout Payable for the Persoal Loa show i this Agreemet, by the mothly repaymets show ad o the dates show or o other dates we may otify to you havig regard to what is coveiet to you. If your repaymet date falls o a o workig day the your mothly repaymet will be due o the ext workig day. The mothly repaymets must be paid to Satader UK plc by Direct Debit. 2 Applicatio of repaymets a) The Amout of Credit stated i this Agreemet will be paid directly to you by paymet either to the accout omiated by you or by cheque uless you authorise us to settle a existig loa i accordace with Coditio 6. b) Paymets received by us uder this Agreemet will be applied first towards the iterest ad charges due ad the towards repaymet of the Amout of Credit stated i this Agreemet. 3 Default If you uderpay or fail to pay ay mothly repaymet withi 14 days of its due date or if you breach the terms of this Agreemet i some other way, this is what will happe: (i) We will sed you a otice that your accout is i arrears. If the arrears are ot paid we may sed you a further otice (a default otice) etitlig us to take eforcemet actio. (ii) the upaid balace of the Total Amout Payable show i this Agreemet will become immediately due ad payable to us; ad (iii) we will charge your accout uder this Agreemet, ( your accout ) with the costs of eforcig our rights uder this agreemet, icludig tracig costs, collectio agecy costs, ad reasoable legal costs icurred. Ay such costs charged by us will become due ad payable immediately ad will ot be subject to the terms of ay default otice issued to you. 4 Bakruptcy ad Idividual Volutary Arragemets The upaid balace of the Total Amout Payable show i this Agreemet will become due ad payable to us ad we shall be etitled to demad paymet of such upaid balace provided that we give you at least seve days otice i writig, if ay of the followig evets occurs: (i) if distress or executio is levied agaist ay of your property (that is, if a bailiff or other officer cotrols or seizes ay of your property followig a court order); (ii) if a bakruptcy order is made agaist you; or (iii) if you eter ito ay arragemet or compositio with your creditors. 5 Persoal Iformatio The uses of your persoal iformatio are set out i the Persoal Loa Data Protectio Statemet provided to you whe you applied for your loa. Your data may be used i other ways where agreed by you ad i very limited circumstaces whe required by law or where permitted uder data protectio legislatio. 6 Settlemet of existig accouts If you have idicated that you require us to settle ay of your existig credit accouts with us or with other leders out of your loa, we are authorised to do so ad to let you have ay balace left. 7 Your repaymets Your mothly repaymets are made up partly of loa repaymets (or capital) ad partly of iterest. Iterest is charged o a day-to-day basis o the outstadig balace of your loa ad will be debited to your accout at the ed of each moth. 8 Early settlemet a) You have a right to settle this Agreemet i full by requestig a settlemet statemet ad by payig all amouts owig at ay time. You may also settle this Agreemet i part at ay time. The relevat details will be set to you at the appropriate time. b) You may repay your loa early by first makig a settlemet request. We will calculate your settlemet date ad the amout you must repay ad sed you a settlemet statemet. We will charge iterest up to the date of settlemet. We may make a additioal charge o settlemet of a extra 30 days iterest. c) If you wish to repay your loa i part, you must give us otice of this itetio to the address stated i this Agreemet or phoe us o You have the optio whe you repay the loa i part to reduce the amout of the mothly istalmet you make or reduce the term remaiig o your loa. If you do ot tell us what you wish to do, we will apply ay part paymet received to the outstadig balace with the effect of reducig the term of your loa. 9 Persoal Agreemet a) You uderstad that we may refuse to eter ito this agreemet with you if we reasoably suspect that you have provided us with materially false or misleadig iformatio b) If we do eter ito this Agreemet with you, it is persoal to you, ad ay of your obligatios uder it may ot be trasferred by you. c) You must otify us of ay chage of address. If you do ot, you must pay to us all of the moey that it reasoably costs us to fid out your ew address. d) If we suspect that this agreemet is beig used i relatio to fraud or ay other crimial activity we may refuse to eter or termiate this agreemet if already made. 10 Trasfer by us a) This Agreemet ad the sums payable by you uder this Agreemet may be trasferred by us at ay time (without your coset but ot i such a way as to reduce ay of your rights) before it eds either to aother compay i the Satader Group or to some other perso, firm, compay or other orgaisatio. b) We will give you prior otice i writig should we decide to trasfer our rights ad obligatios uder this Agreemet. 06

This meas that you are liable together ad also that each of you is separately resposible for performig the obligatios of the customer(s) uder this Agreemet. 13 Set-off We may use ay moey you have with us or ay member of the Satader Group to reduce or repay ay amout which has become payable uder this Agreemet. We will oly do this after we have give you a reasoable opportuity to repay us. We may do this without prior otice to you but will always give you otice afterwards. 14 Geeral a) If ay term of this Agreemet is ot capable of beig eforced agaist you, this shall ot affect ay of the other terms. b) Uless other specific legal provisios apply, all commuicatios uder this Agreemet shall be i Eglish ad the sedig of ay otice or ay other documet to you by ordiary post to the last address withi the Uited Kigdom otified to us i writig shall be sufficiet for legal purposes. c) Ay taxes which apply to you as a result of your eterig ito this agreemet are payable by you. d) This agreemet is govered by Eglish law 15 Makig a complait If you have a complait, please cotact our dedicated complaits team i the first istace o , or visit the complaits sectio of our website (satader.co.uk).
