Please note that there may be charges for items Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff and Overhead The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only those items you desire. However, any any funeral arrangements you select will include charges for basic services and overhead, if legal or other requirements mean you must buy items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected. Funeral Directors and Staff......$1, Our fee for the service of funeral directors and staff include, but it's not limited to staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; arrangements of funeral, preparation and filling of necessary authorization and permits; recording vital statistics; staff assistance prior to, during, and following the funeral including coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g. cemetery, crematory, and others. ALso included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of thefuneral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains.) Embalming $ Embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you select arrangements such as direct cremation or immediate burial, you do not have to pay for embalming you did not approve. Embalming is a chemical process which provides temporary preservation of the body and eliminates certain health hazards. A person licensed by the state must perform the procedure. It is the policy of this funeral home that a body dead more than twenty-four hours will be embalmed, placed in a leak proof container, or refrigerated. you may decline these services by either making other arrangements or selecting other services.
