2 PAYMENT POLICY IT IS CUSTOMARY TO PAY FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND MERCHANDISE AT THE TIME OF ARRANGEMENTS. BRUNE MORTUARY IS NO LONGER IN A POSITION TO OFFER FINANCING, THEREFORE, PAYMENT OR THE SPECIFIC METHOD FOR PAYMENT IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO THE FUNERAL OR MEMORIAL SERVICE. FOLLOWING TYPES OF PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED: 1. CASHORPERSONALCHECK 2. LIFE INSURANCE ASSIGNMENT (Policy must be verified.) 3. ESTATE OR PROBATE CASES (We do accept Estate or Probate accounts. FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT We charge every family for our basic service which include: staff assistance in response to your initial request for service consultation, service plans with cemetery, crematory, and clergy. Also included is a fee to cover a proportionate share of our overhead costs such as taxes, licenses, insurance, maintenance of facilities and equipment, utilities, and a host of other costs related to being in business to serve the public twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. 12 NON-RESIDENT POLICY The Pioneer Cemetery District Board of Trustees has determined that the cemeteries of the District have adequate space for the foreseeable future and will allow the burial within the grounds of any deceased Non-resident of the District as long as they meet the requirements stated in the California Health and Safety Code. The District will charge a Non-resident Fee on all interments, which will be added to the established fees set by the District's Price List. The District's NON-RESIDENT FEE established shall fall into three different categories: 1) Full Body Interment: The Person was a resident of the district or paid property taxes on property located in the district for a continuous period of at least five years, a portion of which time period shall have occurred within the ten years immediately before the person's death, shall pay the Nonresident fee of $ (Health & Safety Code 9061 (c) (1 )) 2) Full Body Interment: Persons who live outside the boundaries of the Pioneer Cemetery District but reside in an area that has no District cemetery or no private cemetery available shall pay a Non-resident fee of $ (Areas outside the boundaries include, Benton, Hammil Valley, Chalfant Valley, Swall Meadows, Bishop Creek, Forty Acres, Aspendell, Mustang Mesa, Wilkerson Ranch and Round Valley) 3) Cremains Interment: Persons who reside outside the District at the time of death and meet all California Health and Safety Cody requirements for Non-resident and wish to bury cremated remains shall pay a Non-resident fee of $ NON-RESIDENT means a person who, at the time of the person's death, did not reside within the boundaries of the district and did not pay property taxes on property located within the district.
