5 The role of Cdstre In Spin, the opportunity to use the Cdstre s tool for the identifiction of griculturl lnd prcels ws welcomed Since 1992 the cdstrl dt re oligtory for the request of griculturl susidies But, The Rurl Cdstre in 1992 ws out of dte Collpse in the Cdstre s offices, which lcked the resources to ttend demnd of such size.

It must cover the entire rurl re in consistent mnner, under single system. In terms of crtogrphic precision, it requires scle of t lest 1:10 000, undetermined field etween 0,5m nd 1m, nd mximum pixel in ortho-photos of 1m

17 The LPIS nd the SIGPAC The LPIS system must llow connection etween grphic nd lph-numericl dtses, nd efficient use of grphicl informtion in ll the IACS procedures: - the mssive distriution of informtion to frmers, - nd dministrtive cross checks

A five yers cycle is generlly indicted ut rel updting vries etween three nd seven or more ccording to the stility of the lnd use.

23 SIGPAC hs two geogrphicl ojects: Prcel: continuous re of lnd with unique lph-numericl reference, grphiclly represented This unique reference is the cdstrl reference, nd the prcel is the cdstrl prcel. Recinto (plot): continuous re of lnd within prcel for single griculturl use.
