The Association encourages and maintains ethical business practices and supports financial education for consumers of all ages. AFSA has provided services to its members for 91 years. The Association's officers, board, and staff are dedicated to continuing this legacy of commitment through the addition of new members and programs, and increasing the quality of existing services. AFSA Goals and Strategies AFSA is leading the charge in defense of risk-based pricing, without which the economic expansion of the last 25 years would not have been possible. AFSA strives to be recognized as outstanding advocates for the financial services industry and to help translate the correct perception of consumer credit into good public policy.
