The Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GSFC), a company with annual turnover of over Rs.3000 crores, is situated on National Highway No.8 near Village Chhani, Dist. Baroda, Gujarat State. The company has set up a number of plants producing fertilizers, chemicals, petrochemicals, agricultural & Biotechnological products. For operating these plants, many raw materials (both solids & liquids), consumables, intermediates, chemicals, solvents etc are required. Some of these products are transported on regular basis and some of them on occassional basis depending upon the need & requirement of plants. GSFC intends to invite expression of interest from reputed & professional Transport Contractors to enlist Registration for execution of transport related works handled by Materials Management Department at Baroda Unit. 2 [14] LSHS [15] Chemicals [16] Interunit transfer of products [17] MoP [18] Oleum The supply location can be Udaipur, Jamnagar, Sikka, Bhavnagar, Magdalla, Kandla, Mumbai Sea Port and Air Port, JNPT, GCPTCL (Dahej), Mumbai, Hazira, Cochin, Vapi, Baroda, Jhagadia etc etc. Interested Transport Contractors willing to participate in the enlistment process may down load the Application Format mentioned below for qualifying requirements & details of documents, to be submitted along with the application. Evaluation shall be carried out on the basis of the details submitted in the application form. GSFC has accepted the Responsible Care concept in principal and the required guidelines are under preparation. These guidelines will be part of the contractual obligation and each transporter has to ensure compliance to these guidelines. The selected transport contractors shall be placed on, The list of approved transport contractors of GSFC for submission of tenders as and when invited for execution of various transport jobs. GSFC will issue tender notice to the selected transport contractors from the list of approved transport contractors registered with GSFC. The re-evaluation of capacity/limit of the contractor to execute single transport job will also be carried out based on their performance of last three years.
