I / We would like to state that, in the event it is established that I / We are involved in unfair practices including false/distorted reports, which ultimately lead to distressed assets to Bank, my / our empanelment in the Bank will be terminated. 13 TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1) After empanelment any change in the Address has to be informed to the Bank in time. 2) The minimum eligibility criteria mentioned is furnished below. The Applicant should have minimum five years of experience in the field of Civil Works. Those firms who have employed a Manager with minimum of 5 years of work experience in the field of civil works can also apply. In this case, the proof of experience of the Manager has to be furnished. 3) This empanelment will be normally for a period of 3 years. However Bank reserves its right to update the panel at any time it deems fit. 4) The applicants having service tax registration may be preferred as it is compulsory for firms to register under service tax with annual turnover exceeding Rs 10 Lakhs. Though firms having annual turnover less than Rs 10 Lakhs and have not registered for service tax may be considered, but will be given only small works. 5) The firms without service Tax registration has to give a declaration on their letter head that they are not registered for service tax as their present annual turnover is less than 10 lakhs and as and when they get registered for Service tax they will inform the bank. 6) After empanelment, services of the Contractor will be utilized as and when needed by the Bank and just the empanelment in the Bank s Panel does not mean any guarantee of awarding of works. Hence it is not obligatory on the part of the Bank to award any work to the empanelled Contractor on their empanelment just because of the empanelment. After assessing the financial capability and work experience of the contractors, Bank is also free to do grading / classification of the contractors under different work value ranges. 7) The awarding of work is at the sole discretion of the Bank and payment of bills for the works undertaken is subject to the norms prevailing from time to time. 8) The Bank does not undertake any responsibility to compensate the contractor, for any monetary loss other than the bill amount payable to them as per norms, if any work is awarded. 13

14 9) The empanelled Contractor will have to co-ordinate with different Agencies for the smooth execution of the work. They have to also comply with the directions that will be given by our Security and Information Technology Divisions. 10) The Contractors when awarded the work shall take all the required labour registrations duly complying with the formalities under Contract Labour Act and Rules and to indemnify the Bank against any claims in this regard. 11) The selected empanelled contractors will be invited for quoting their rates to tenders of the bank. Bank reserves the right depending on estimated value of the work / Project the tender will be restricted to empanelled contractors only or tender can be open tender with contractors outside empanelment are also allowed to participate. The rights for type of tender to be called rest entirely on Bank and empanelled members have no any say in the matter. The Contractors are advised to watch the Bank s website for news about tenders. 12) In the event it is established that selected contractor were involved in unfair practices including false/distorted reports, which ultimately lead to distressed assets our Bank, the contractor s empanelment in our Bank will be terminated. In addition to the removal from the panel of our Bank, Bank may approach concerned professional body with complaint of misconduct against Contractor. 13) Bank reserves its right to delete the empanelled Contractor from the panel of contractors at any time without assigning any reasons thereof. 15 GUIDELINES FOR FILLING THE APPLICATION 1) Application can be downloaded from the Bank s website Those who are downloading from the Website have to enclose a Demand Draft for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of Corporation Bank and payable at MUMBAI. 2) Application can also be obtained from the Bank s Zonal Office in Thane on payment of Rs.500/- by means of Demand Draft in favour of Corporation Bank and payable at Mumbai. 3) Completed application along with all required supporting documents have to be enclosed in Envelope and superscripted as Application for empanelment of Civil Works Contractors for Corporation Bank, Thane zone and has to reach/submit us on or before ) Applicants should not make any change/alteration to any of the clause of the Application. It will make the applicant disqualified. 5) The Applicant should possess Permanent Account Number (PAN) from the Income Tax Department. 6) The Contractor may be asked to submit a Solvency Certificate for an appropriate amount when the works are awarded. 7) Bank will not be responsible for any loss of application either in transit or otherwise and for non-receipt of the same in time. Hence applicants are advised to ensure that the completed application reach us in time. 8) Certified attested Xerox copies of all documents supporting eligibility criteria and other details filled in application form are to be submitted along with the application form. 9) The firms without service Tax registration has to give a declaration on their letter head that they are not registered for service tax as their present annual turnover is less than 10 Lakhs and as and when they get registered for Service tax they will inform the bank. 10) Applicants are advised to submit along the application, copies of important Work Orders received during the past.
