Blank tenders are invited for Hiring of Taxi passing company made closed body diesel driven with AC & 8+1 Passing Vehicle Bolero/Tavera/Qualis/Xylo or equivalent model June-2010 and then after for transmission division Soja under the control of Ex. Eng. (Tr.) Soja. 2. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD):- EMD received along with the tender shall also be converted into security deposit in the event of awarding the contract to a successful party. 3. Tender Fee: -Tender fee paid for purpose of tender is not refundable. 4. The rates quoted by the tenders in the schedule of rate must include all charges of every type such as fuel, vehicle taxes, levies, maintenance / repairs, driver or contractors servant/ agents wages etc. 5. You must quote prices on the basis of prevailing 15 days before the due date of tender this basic rate shall be indicated in tender. 6. The Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons thereof. 7. While submitting tender contractor has to mention loading capacity of vehicle, Taxi / Maxi passing and model of vehicle in tender. 8. The rate quoted shall be on annual rate contract basis, thus rates quoted shall remain valid for complete period of Twelve months of execution of order. 9. Following papers have to be submitted with Technical Bid of Tender, Insurance certificate covering period up to date. Registration certificate book with road tax and up to date. Road permit as maxi or public use in Maxi quota. Fitness certificate. Pollution Under Control certificate ( P.U.C.) Xerox copy of license of driver. 10. 4 - 4 - GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: - These condition will be applicable in addition to those mentioned in booklet Tender and contract of works available for reference at the office of Executive Engineer (Tr), Soja. 1. The touring journey covers area within the Gujarat State and as per the instructions of officer- incharge. 2. The contractor will have to fulfill the conditions of contract of labour regulation abolition act and furnish the records failing which payment will not be made. 3. The driver and contractor has to submit his permanent address with Mobile No. to this office. 4. Vehicle and Driver must be remaining present at 220 KV Jamla S/S for 12Hrs. 5. VEHICLE: -The vehicle should be Maxi passing in R.T.O. The vehicle Model should not before June The vehicle will be used to carry out line and sub station materials surveying instruments, tools and tackles along with officers and line staff. 6. DRIVER: - Vehicle will have to be providing along with well experienced driver preferably below the age of 40 years and not above 55 years with license, necessary tools and tackles and he shall be able to attend normal breakdown. Neither of any tools, tackles, and manpower for execution order will be provide by Corporation. The contractor shall employ qualified and well-behaved driver having valid permanent license for driving vehicle as per RTO and insurance rules. The driver must have Mobile No. for immediate communication. Driver is not to be changed often by the contractor, as the well conversant and experienced driver would be for Corporation. The driver of vehicle shall be well dressed as per R.T.O. rules and behaves with manners and respect with officers / staff of the Corporation. Driver shall be well experienced with Mobile facility and license not later than The driver should be provided with enough money to pay the cost of diesel, repairs & incidental expenditure while in the journey, he should not demand money from the employees of GETCO for repairing the vehicle and for others expenditure. The driver should behave courteously and respectfully with traveling employees of GETCO. He should free from habits of smoking/drinking intoxicant liquors. Any misbehavior of the driver will be reported to the vehicle owner & if vehicle owner fail to provide new driver within 12 hours GETCO reserves the right to terminate the contract or hire vehicle from open market at the risk & cost of the contractor. The vehicle should be up to date and diesel driven only with good upholstery covered. If the driver fails to report at the time given by the controlling officer, penalty of Rs. 50=00 per hour will be imposed. 7. Challans for opening and closing km. reading & km. traveled should be got certified and duly signed by the officers traveling in the vehicle. In absence of the above requirement, the bill will not be paid.the contractor has to pay toll taxes any required during journey & will be reimbursed in Monthly bill on production of original toll tax receipts. 8. It is the whole and sole responsibility of vehicle owner during accident to pay compensation or damages to the persons involved as per law or act. 9. If service of the contractor found unsatisfactory, Corporation will exercise site discretionary power to cancel the order in accordance with the rules. 10. During the journey all the R.T.O. rules and regulations should be followed scrupulously and contractor will be responsible for any repercussion arise for nonobservance of R.T.O. rules. 11. The journey Kms. quantities shown in the schedule B will be considered from head quarter to head quarter i.e. Jamla S/S.

5 Contract will start from the date of receipt of vehicle & the contract will remain for twelve calendar months, from that date. 1. Copy of all relevant papers ( i.e. R.C. book, Insurance of vehicle, P.U.C. certificate, Maxi passing permit, Road tax, vehicle fitness certificate, Insurance & License of driver etc.) should be furnished to this office before commencement of order. Insurance for driver should also be borne by the contractor. 2. During traveling, it is the responsibility of the owner to produce relevant papers of vehicle such as License of Driver, registration book, insurance policy, Road Tax, Maxi permit, P.U.C., etc. to R.T.O. or concerned Government authority. 3. The vehicle will be used for line maintenance so must be reach as near as line tower by using car track and farm pathway. 21. The vehicles intended to be placed for hiring must have following documents Completed in all respect and produced to engineer in charge for verification. Insurance certificate covering period up to date. Registration certificate book with tax and up to date. Road permit as MAXI / TAXI or public use in taxi quota. Fitness certificate. Pollution Under Control certificate (P.U.C.) Xerox copy of license of driver. Any other documents relevant relating to hiring of vehicle the contractor shall make his own arrangements for the boarding & lodging of drivers, agents and servants. 4. The vehicle when in service shall have to be parked at the Sub-station s premises or as near as the work site as possible. 5. The contractor shall also make his own arrangements for re-fueling, repairs and maintenance of his vehicle. 6. The contractor will be responsible for any fine or penalty, if imposed by any authority state or central authority including any local body for any breach, violation or non- compliance of statutory rules, regulations etc. 7. The vehicle once inspected and approved by the engineer for hire shall not be changed or substituted by the contractor except on orders from the engineer or on becoming defective / off road due to accident, breakdown etc. In such an event, the contractor shall give immediate intimation to the engineer. Where a change of vehicle is likely to last for more than one week prior approval of the engineer shall have to be taken. 8. The speedometer of the vehicle must be maintained with full accuracy and in working order at all the time. Any defect noticed the same must be rectified at the earliest in a period not exceeding one day. Till such time the Kim s. of journey for various places shall be decided by the users / engineers. 9. In case breakdown of vehicle / off road due to accident or in case of a vehicle not acceptable to GETCO, the contractor will immediately replace the same by good vehicle within shortest time (say within one Hour only). Failure to replace the vehicle will entitle GETCO to impose penalty equivalent to the average daily hiring charges for that period or actual expenditure done

6 - 6 - whichever is higher for the period, for which vehicle is under breakdown & not been accepted by GETCO. If vehicle may breakdown at far away from Soja sub-station, contractor is to be arranged good vehicle equivalent to existing at the site of vehicle is being breakdown. 10. Accident Liability :-Contractor shall at all time indemnifies GETCO and its officers, servants and agent against all third party claims, whatsoever (including but not limited to) property losses/damages, personal accident, injury or death of persons of any sub contractor, and/or agents of the contractor and/or of GETCO, damage to the property of GETCO, arising out by the hired vehicle, the contractor shall bare at his own cost and initiative at all times till the successful completion of the contract period. Contractor shall have to maintain comprehensive insurance policy in respect of all insurable liabilities, and motor vehicle Act, emergency risk insurance act, approved by secretary/getco. 11. The contractors immunize company s personnel against any claim arising out of accidents or misbehavior of the driver. The vehicle shall be kept properly fully insured all the time to cover the risk and simultaneously immunized company on account of likely claims from public, police deptt., etc. 12. The vehicle to be deployed shall be inspected by authorized representative of GETCO at any time during period of contract & if any defect is noticed, the contractor should rectify it immediately. GETCO shall have right to reject vehicle if condition of vehicle is not satisfactory. 13. Contractor have not right for demanding one weekly off due to vehicle will be hired on 12 hours and compensatory off may not be given if vehicle used on Sunday, if possible weekly off may be given on GETCO s conveniency. One off may be given in Month on request of contractor for monthly repairing & servicing of vehicle. 14. No any extra charges will be paid for night halt done out of Head quarter of Jamla S/S. 15. If Contractor fail to provide the vehicle requisitioned by GETCO s, authorities reserves right to hire the equivalent vehicle may be required/available for the time being from the open market at the risk and cost of contractor and the amount will be deducted from the monthly bill payable to the contractor. 7 - 7 - COMMERCIAL CONDITIONS:- 1. If due to any reason whatsoever, the GETCO has to make any payment for vehicle or driver etc. the payment so paid by GETCO payable by the contractor to GETCO. 2. Conditional tender will not be accepted. 1. The Security Deposit:-The successful tenderer will have to pay 5% of the contract value as Security deposit within 10 days of issuance of Order. It shall be refunded only after completion of the contract or its termination. The Corporation reserves to recover any dues, out-standing against the contractor. From the security deposit or towards any loss caused to the Corporation owing to neglect or default of the contractor, his servants or agents. The refund shall be done only on production of no objection certificates of all concerned officers. 2. All road tolls / bridge tolls shall be reimbursed on production of proof of payment along with bill. The parking charges at the railway station, Air port or any public /private places for vehicle when utilized by GETCO would be admissible and reimbursed with monthly bill subject to the production of such slips. 3. The GETCO on security deposit shall pay no interest. 4. The Income Tax:-The income tax as per rules will be recovered from each bill as per prevailing rates. Any dispute of difference under out of or in connection with the contract shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Kalol (NG) Dist.: Gandhinagar. only. 5. Formula for considering price variation: -- For every ten paise rise/down in the price of diesel per liter, the rate will be considered rise/down one paise per kilometer. Only charges in price of diesel will be adjustable. No price variation will be payable on cost of oil / tyre / tube etc. 6. Agreement: - as per Corporation s rules, contractor will have to enter in to an agreement of stamp paper of Rs. 100/-- with the Corporation in prescribed format before execution of work. The cost of stamp fees shall be born by the contractor. 7. Indemnity Bond:- The contractor will have to execute an indemnity bond on stamp paper of Rs. 100/-- at his cost before commencement of order stating that for any accident or damages to the contractors. Staff/ equipments or any other persons/ vehicle due to non-observance of safety measurements Corporation shall not be responsible. 10. If you fail to execute order successfully, order will be got completed through other agency and if required to pay hire rates, in that case, difference of rates will be recovered from You. 1. Without obtaining any confirmation further Two months extension order for hiring of The accepting authority can issue vehicle in case required by the corporation. 2. The period of contract shall be for Two Year. The period further one-year can be extended on mutual agreed terms as per same rates, terms & conditions. 3. The corporation reserves the right to terminate the contract any time without assigning any reason by giving Fifteen days notice in writing. The contractor(s) shall not be entitled to any compensation by reasons of such termination of contract. 4. No advance for hiring of vehicle shall be paid. The bill in triplicate should be forwarded to concern engineer and payment will be made by account payee cheque only.

8 If contractor fails to provide the vehicle on any day as per contract, penalty of Rs. 700/-- per day or actual paid by Corporation to hire vehicle required/available for the time being from open market. Which ever higher will be recovered from the current bill or he has to arrange other acceptable vehicle. 6.
