Her research focuses primarily on preparing teachers to work with students with disabilities who are culturally and linguistically diverse in inclusive settings. Dr. Cramer has published dozens of peer reviewed journal articles and a book in this area. She has been a recipient of eight OSEP grants in the past eight years totaling over $7 million. These projects all aim to prepare culturally and linguistically diverse special educators and academic leaders to be highly effective in educating all students in urban settings.
