I would like to request that all members wishing for their reports to be accurately recorded in these minutes to send a copy of their report to my address ( secretary@southjerseyna.org ) prior to or shortly after every meeting. TREASURER: SJASC TREASURY REPORT December 2018 The Bank Statement for November reconciled to the penny ASC s Financial Position: In November group donations were $ Literature purchases were $ Area expenses were $ Literature expenses were $ We are $ over Cap ASC checking account balance is $ Thank you for allowing me to serve, Mike T RCM: Hello everyone, Unity Day is in the works but needs your help to get it off the ground so please announce at your homegroups that we are looking for volunteers to help plan and put on the event if you are interested please reach out. See attached report entitled Committee Report to the RCMs on the New Jersey Transit Bus Poster Project. Thanks for allowing me to serve. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS H&I: H&I meets the 3rd Sunday of every month at St Charles Borromeo church on Turnersville Rd at 6 pm. Requirements are 6 months clean time, NA sponsor, NA home group, & off all drug replacement therapy. We currently have 3 open commitments. Thanks for letting me serve H&I chair Joe B. PR: Nothing to Report. ACTIVITIES: Good afternoon everyone I am a grateful recovering addicted called Jeff. November 24th, we held our Thanksgiving event we had two speakers on gratitude and a full thanksgiving spread activities would like to thank everyone who attended and those who gave their time to cooking the dinner that was served. Our next event will be our NYE bash last year we had it along with Burlington Area with the success of that event coupled with our growing unity events with the camp out. This year s event will be hosted by 4 areas Burlington area, Cumberland Salem area, Unity is a must area and South Jersey area. This year s event will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church 176 Stagecoach road, Sicklerville, NJ Event will be held from 6pm Dec 31st till 1 am Jan 1st event will include marathon meetings, DJ & Dance, Dinner, Raffle drawings, and a clean time countdown. South Jersey will be meeting with the other areas one last time to finalize all plaining for the event next Sunday Dec 16th hope to see everyone on the 31st. Activities meets every 2nd Sunday directly following the area service meeting this month meeting due to a large majority of activities members not being present will be canceled and we will hold a meeting after our unity meeting next Sunday to plain our January 2019 event. Literature provided to Providence House Domestic Violence Womens Shelter WEB CHAIR: Needs the addresses of the newly elected members. POLICY: Nothing to Report LITERATURE SUPPLY: Nothing to Report MEETING LISTS: Nothing to Report OLD BUSINESS No old business ELECTIONS H & I Joe B. was nominated by the H&I subcommittee and was subsequently elected by the body. NEW BUSINESS ***MOTION *** Motion made by Treasurer Mike T and seconded by Robert R Reimburse treasurer $ for Excel Yearly renewal fee. It is not used for anything other than the area treasurer position. At the end of commitment, I will not be renewing or purchasing for personal use. Intent 7 th Tradition. Pros and cons were heard and a vote was held. The motion passed. ***MOTION *** Motion made by Activities Treasurer Scott B and seconded by Jimmy L Raise the yearly budget for activities subcommittee from $2300 to $2400. Intent To allow the committee to have an even $200 seed money (on average per event) for 12 activities per year for the committee to put to use. Pros and cons were heard and the motion was sent back to the groups to vote on. : ***MOTION *** Motion made by Regional PI Chair That the NJRSC approve the contract for bus advertising for 16 weeks for the amount of $9, Intent To carry the message to the addict that still suffers. The total value is approximately $100,000. Pros and cons were heard and the motion was sent back to the groups to vote on. : Page 4 of 5

Intent To restore the groups authority in assuring that region is transparent in how it expends the groups resources, 2 nd concept.
