3 F r e e d o m F l y e r P a g e 3 DIRECTOR Rodger McEwan Here it is September already, time really got away from this month with business travel and pulling all the loose ends together for our Vet Run. We still need a few volunteers to be escort ride leaders for this event, if you'd like to help and volunteer for this task, please contact me or any chapter officer so we can get your name on the list. We'll have additional sign up sheets at the next meeting as well. We are anticipating a large turn out for this event so we can use the extra help. Sept is the California State Rally. If you are already or plan to register for this event and want to ride to San Diego with the Chapter we will be leaving Goody's Restaurant on FRIDAY SEPT. 13TH at 7:00 AM. We will be going directly to the sign in site in San Diego to get our Rally Packets. There are scheduled rides on Friday in mid morning and in the afternoon, I anticipate checking into our Hotel at approximately 2:30-3:00 PM which will give us time to plan for that evenings festivities. If you have any questions regarding this event please contact Bob Lee at or me at Also on Sept. 28th is the Biggs Harley-Davidson Premier event held at their dealership, this is always a fun ride with plenty of vendors, food and bike games along with a great ride through the surrounding country side. Biggs always supports our Vet Run in a big way, let's show our appreciation by attending this event in large numbers, who knows we might even win the chapter challenge. We'll be leaving from Goody's at 7:30 am on the 28th. Also on the 28th is the Shoot, Loot and Scoot ride, contact Scott Jones at for further details on this ride. That's it for this time, ride safe have fun and I'll see you on the road.

5 F r e e d o m F l y e r P a g e 5 TREASURER Randy Kim It s a little over 5 weeks till our Annual Veterans Ride to help support the Veterans at the Jerry Pettis Hospital. Have you signed up yet? We have the flyers available now to pre-register and you can also sign up online through our website. Payments can be done via Pay Pal online or see Rodger or Randy and we can accept credit card payments as well. Seeking all the help from the chapter members to make this event a huge success. Looking for raffle prizes to be donated to the Veterans Raffle table and also volunteers to help out the day of the ride. Pass the word around to all of your riding friends to come on out and to support LLHOG s Annual Veterans Ride on the 5 th of OCT Right around the corner in Oct through Dec your LLHOG Chapter dues for 2014 will be accepted. See Patty Lee our Membership Officer to make sure your National HOG membership is up to date.
