REVIEW OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MONTH June minutes accepted. OPEN FORUM / GROUP CONCERNS Concern raised regarding when GSR term changes, relative to ASC elections. Malinda J., Policy Chair made a motion to change ASC policy, Seconded by Wendy W.. Malinda made a motion to remove the requirement for the Policy subcommittee to send a copy of the ASC minutes to the Regional Service Office, as it is now closed and PI archives the ASC minutes on the website. All-vote: For-26 / Against-0 / Abstentions-0 MOTION APPROVED. CLOSING Motion to close seconded and unanimously approved at approximately 4:30 PM. 13 CASC TREASURERS REPORT July 12, 2015 Date: 07/14/2015 From: Tim H., CASC Treasurer Re: Treasury Report for the month of June 2015 Dear Capital Area, I would like to thank the Capital Area for allowing me to serve in this position for the last year, helping to carry the message of NA by being of service is an important part of my recovery. Please encourage other responsible, trusted servants to volunteer at the Area level to help us to continue to carry the message. I ll be helping Sebastian transition into the Area Treasurers position and have full confidence that he will do a great job. Sebastian has been the Assistant Treasurer for most of the last year, but he graciously volunteered to assume the Secretary s duties since that position was vacant and there was a great need for someone to do it. Malinda, the outgoing Chair and I transferred signature authority for the PNC checking account to Jasper and Sebastian last month and I gave Sebastian the passwords to access the online banking. All checks from here on out will have to be signed by them Attached is the June Income and Expense Statement with the Home group donation list from last month. Donations totaled $ Our account balance is $2, Outstanding checks total $119.13, which leaves an available balance of $2, This available balance puts us $ ABOVE the policy mandated prudent reserve of $1, Per policy, checks will be sent to the Region(60%) for $ and to the World(40%) in the amount of $ this month. After discussing it with Sebastian and other ASC committee members, I have decided to continue with service at the Area level and am looking forward to serving as Area Secretary.
