3 Media Release July 8 th 2009 Methodology 1060 randomly selected registered voters aged 21+ were interviewed via telephone for the survey Respondents were selected via random stratified sampling method along the lines of state of residence, ethnicity, gender and age Survey was carried out between 19 June 1 July 2009 Survey margin of error estimated at ±3.0 Important events during survey period: Announcement of further economic sector liberalization measures, public discussion of unity govt (and subsequent dismissal of issue by Pakatan/PAS), several schools closed due to A(H1N1) influenza outbreak, indirect campaigning for Manek Urai begins. Note: Total percentages presented may or may not add up to 10 due to rounding up of figures. 3
