A developing issue or concern in one state may be an omen for future developments in another and certainly, legislative issues know no boundaries. Session 9: EDI Summary & Update 2:00pm 2:45pm Presenters: Gregg Lutz, Dir., Standards Dev. & Outreach, IAIABC Gregg provides an EDI update which states are using which version...and focuses on what is new and what we can expect in the future. 2:45pm 3:00pm Afternoon Refreshment Break Session 10 Employer Compliance & A Level Playing Field 3:00pm 4:00pm Presenters: Andrew Sabolic, Asst. Dir. Florida WC Susan Schulte, DOL Focus Lead, NCCI Andrew Sabolic will summarize the enforcement initiatives used by Florida to encourage compliance, sharing tools of the trade and Susan Schulte will explain the importance of adequate and correct reporting by employers, carriers, and TPA s and how it all fits to a level playing field for all employers. The National Regulators Roundtable is a forum where regulators share lessons learned and seek timely answers to their most pressing issues. Tentative topics are: Constitutional Challenges Opt Out...Dead Or Evolving Employer Compliance / Non-Compliance Self-Insurance, Bankruptcies, Defaults & Federal Intrusion Managing the Legislative Environment Top Ten Medical Issues Advancing Technology & System Overhauls Increasing Economic Pressures - More With Less The discussion will provide the audience an opportunity to raise their own issues & concerns for the regulators to address.
