Some of the insurance proceeds were received after year end, thus receivables in the current year are significantly higher than prior year.

21 Previous Years Capital Projects Roads/Sidewalks: Leases on Backhoe and Skidsteer Loan on Dump Truck Purchase of enclosed service trailer Continue repairing potholes and excavations from water breaks with hot mix, cold mix, and SB90 where necessary $100,000 worth of sidewalks replaced or repaired throughout the Town where needed most
22 Previous Years Capital Projects Water/Wastewater: Replaced water line under Highway 36 from 52 Avenue to 46 Avenue (funded only Alberta Transportation did the contracting and work) Planned to replace water and sewer lines, and install a storm system, on 49 Street between Avenue however much of Public Works Foreman s time was taken up by the rehabilitation on Highway 36/45 Purchased a new sewer camera Installed a sewer line from the Geleta Park washroom to main sewer line on 45 Avenue
23 Previous Years Capital Projects Recreation: New Recreational / Curling Rink Facility completed Purchase mower Other: Purchased some new waste bins and accessories New Medical Facility - partially funded by the Town; constructed by Two Hills Medical Clinic

35 2017 Taxes SPECIAL LEVIES In order to pay off the debentures for the medical clinic ($400,000) and recreation centre ($350,000) the following rates have been established per property $38.65 and $34.28 respectively. Maintenance tax remains at $1.50 per front foot. This special levy provides funds for maintenance of roads, and water and sewer facilities.
