Most indicators have exceeded the mid-term targets. The Project has continued to move towards its overall development objectives, which remain in line with the government policy on health reforms in China. Given the experiences to date, the Project would shift its focus to piloting innovations which integrate the three areas of reform (health financing, service delivery, and public health), evaluation (including improving indicators such as c-section rate), and scale-up/roll-out of good practices, as well as to intensify the efforts on slow performing counties and areas such as NCD. The Project experience will continue to inform the government reforms and provide added value to these efforts. Page 1 of 6
