2 D e a r F e l l o w C o m m u n i t y M e m b e r s, The Fountain City Mardi Gras and Carnival Parade Festival is fastly on track to becoming a new tradition for Columbus. The parade entries and performances the wonderful world of Mardi and Carnival in an ultimate mashup of celebration. On Saturday, March 09, 2019, we plan to host the 2 nd Annual Fountain City Mardi Gras. Fire & Ice, A Tale of Two Cultures in Historic Liberty District of Columbus, GA. This event supports our Royal Court Scholarship Program. The Royal recipients consists of six youth from middle to college and four youth 12 and under. Our goals are: Establish a flagship scholarship fundraising event. Provide a Mardi Gras program of events that inspire interest in Columbus. Create small business partnership opportunities within Liberty District Present a showcase of art, dance, and music of Carnival culture This year, our goal is to raise $10,000. Organizing such an event is quite costly and are seeking assistance to meet our fundraising goal by sponsorship to offset essential expenses such as liability insurance, road coverage, signage, and advertisement. We have attached sponsors and donor opportunities and we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to explain the event in more detail. We hope we can gain your support to Let The Good Times Roll.
