2 HIMACHAL PRADESH STATE ELECTRICITY BOARD LIMITED PRESS TENDER NOTICE Sealed tenders on the prescribed performa are hereby invited on behalf of the CMD, HPSEB Ltd. by the undersigned for under mentioned works from the eligible contractors of appropriate class enlisted with HPSEB Ltd. i.e. Panchayati Raj Institutions, NGOs, Self help Groups, Co-operative Societies, Individual Entrepreneurs, Firms and Companies according to the revised HP Enlistment rules. The payment for purchase of tender documents as noted against the tender should be made in cash in this office. Detail of billing lots to be billed in a particular month shall be provided by Sub- Divisional Officer on month to month basis. 2. Award will be issued to a bidder covering up to 50% consumer in a Sub-Division or 25% of consumer in the Division. 3. The eligibility criteria for participation in this tender is as under:- Sr. No. Type of Company / Organization Eligibility Criteria 1. Panchayati Raj Institutions At least 2 years of proven track record of successful working experience in the specified area in projects involving rural institutional arrangements preferably power sector. 2. NGOs Should have requisite technical and skilled manpower to undertake similar project. Bidders to furnish existing manpower available with them. 3. Self Help Groups Have never been blacklisted by any Govt. Department. 4. Co-operative Societies The company having Board s retired employees especially those having expertise in consumer billing and collection shall be preferred. 5. Individual Entrepreneurs Preferably 2 years of proven track record of successful working experience in projects preferably in Power Sector. The minimum qualification of an individual shall be matric. In case of remote / tribal areas the qualification can be relaxed upto Middle Standard by the awarding authority as per requirement. They shall have to provide one surety amounting to Rs /- or to an amount equal to the average of one month billing amount of the area which ever is higher before the award of work. 6. Firms Have never been blacklisted by any Govt. Department. 7. Companies Should be financially sound and turnover over should be at least /- in any of two years during last 5 years.

5 TERMS & CONDITIONS:- 1. Earnest money shall be accepted in cash or through Bank Draft in favour of Sr. Executive Engineer, Electrical Division HPSEB Ltd. Mandi drawn in H.P. Co.-Op. Bank Mandi. 2. Tender forms shall be issued on the production of proof of enlistment of type of company / organization with the H.P. Govt. and HPSEB Ltd. 3. Telegraphic / conditional tender without earnest money shall not be accepted and shall be rejected out rightly. Other terms and conditions of tender / detailed NIT can be seen on any working day in this office and the tender form can also be obtained from this office. 4. If it happens to be a holiday on the date of opening the tender, the same shall be opened on next working day. 5. The undersigned reserve the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereto. 6. Taxes as applicable shall be deducted at source. 7.
