2 NOTICE FOR INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR IDBI BANK LTD IMD, CORPORATE CENTER PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS/ APPLICATORS Introduction: IDBI Bank is a Public Sector Bank having its registered office at IDBI Tower, WTC Complex, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai Bank proposes to carry out terrace waterproofing works for its residential flats at Ghatkopar (E), Mumbai. The Bank invites application for pre-qualification from reputed, experienced and Indian Registered contractors/firms/applicators who have been empanelled with Central Govt/ State Govt/ Public Sector Banks/ Central PSUs for pre-qualification of terrace waterproofing works, to be done in Bank s residential flats at Ghatkopar (E), Mumbai. The contractor should meet the minimum qualifying criteria as mentioned in the Pre-qualification document for getting pre-qualified. Copy of the empanelment with Central Govt/ State Govt/ Public Sector Banks/ PSUs should be enclosed along with the Pre-qualification Documents. Application complete in all respects should reach General Manager (IMD), IDBI Bank Ltd, 4 th Floor, C Wing, IDBI Tower, WTC Complex, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai on or before 3 rd March 2017 in a sealed cover super scribing Application for Prequalification of Contractors/ Applicators for Terrace Waterproofing works in Bank s residential flats at Ghatkopar (E), Mumbai. No Joint venture or consortium of firms shall be allowed and the contractors should meet the above criteria by themselves. The desired contractors should apply on the prescribed documents as per the PQ document along-with documentary evidence for the following: (1) Audited Balance Sheet for the last three years i.e , and (2) Completion Certificates from Clients / Owners for similar works (3) Plant & Machinery holding (4) Manpower details (5) Details of pending litigation etc., if any (6) EPF Regn. No. along with copy of challan for the month of January 2017 (7) PAN No (8) VAT Regn. No.& Service Tax Regn no along with Valid Clearance Certificate. (9) Bank Solvency Certificate for 40% value of Pre-qualification Limit issued not before November (10) Certificate of Incorporation in India. Last date of receipt of pre-qualification application is 3 rd March 2017 upto 5.00 pm. The delayed application shall not be considered. Corrigendum/ addendums, if any, to this NIT shall only be posted on IDBI Bank s website. Bank reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons and to restrict the list to any number deemed suitable by it, if too many applications are received satisfying the basic pre - qualification criteria. 3 Terrace Waterproofing works in Bank s residential flats at Ghatkopar (E), Mumbai Minimum Pre-Qualification Limits The contractors should meet the following minimum qualifying criteria for getting pre-qualified. (Rs in Lakh) Description Terrace waterproofing works-membrane type APP or Bitumen Prequalification limit (Rs.) (Project cost between) Average Annual turnover (Rs.) during last 3 years (ending ) Past Experience in completed similar works during last 7 years (To fulfill either of three options) Single Project (Rs.) Two Project Three Projects (Rs.) (each at least) (Rs.) (each at least) Definition of Similar Works is as under: Nature of work Terrace Waterproofing works (Membrane type APP or Bitumen) Definition of Similar Works Removal of existing waterproofing layer in terrace and providing APP or bitumen type membrane waterproofing treatment with necessary top screed. Additional Criteria: a. One completed similar waterproofing work costing not less than amount equal to Rs 8 lakh with some Central Govt./ State Govt./ Public Sector Banks/ Central PSUs having superior specifications during last 3 years. b. One completed waterproofing work carried out through Membrane (APP or Bitumen) method costing not less than amount equal to Rs 8 lakh apart from other methods of waterproofing out of the above mentioned works. 3

4 Instructions to bidders 1. Each page of the application shall be signed by a person having necessary authority to do so. 2. If the space in the Performa is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be given in separate sheets. 3. The bidder should have their office based in Mumbaiwith sufficient no.of technically qualified staff. 4. Applicants are required to furnish information against each item of the application. In case certain item is not applicable, please write NA. Application containing incorrect and or inadequate information is liable to be rejected. 5. Any information furnished by the applicant is found to be incorrect at a later stage; the contractor is liable to be debarred from tendering / taking up any future work in the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to verify the particulars furnished by the applicant independently. 6. The tender document will be issued to those Bidders who meet the pre-qualification criteria. No eligibility will be changed at any circumstances. Pre-qualification letters/ intimation will be sent to only those successful applicants who meet the qualifying criteria. 7. No Correspondence will be entertained with un-qualified bidders. 8. The bidder must not have been blacklisted by any of the public sector Banks/Private Banks/Cooperative Banks/ Any Govt./ Semi Govt. Dept in last 5 years nor shall their name be figured in the IBA caution list. An undertaking on the company/firm s letter head has to be given by the bidder. 9. IDBI Bank Ltd reserve the right to modify the eligibility criteria, to decide on cut-off date of implementation, to accept or reject any application, to annul the Pre-Qualification process, to reject all applications or accept new applications at any time, without assigning any reason or incurring any liability to the applicants. 10. For the purpose of pre-qualification, applicants will be evaluated on the basis of minimum stipulated financial and past-experience criteria. 11. References, information and certificates from the respective clients certifying suitability, technical know- how or capability of the applicant should be signed by an officer not below the rank of an Executive Engineer or equivalent. 12. The applicant may furnish any additional information which he thinks is necessary to establish his capabilities to successfully complete the works. The applicants are however, advised not to furnish superfluous information. No information shall be accepted after submission of pre-qualification documents unless it is called for by IDBI Bank Ltd. 4

5 13. The past experience in similar nature of work should be supported by certificates issued by an Officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. Work experience/ Completion certificate shall be supported with copies of Work Order and Full Payment & TDS certificate issued by the owner for the work executed. 14. The gross annual turnover should be certified by the Chartered Accountant. Year in which no turnover is shown would also be considered for working out the average. 15. Prospective applicants may request for clarifications on the pre-qualification document, if any on or before 1 st March No request for clarification will be considered after that date. 16.
