Our Mission, as it was in the beginning, is to provide quality funeral service, at a fair and reasonable price. Here at Oak Grove we believe that every family is eligible for and should receive free information and consultation. Information is knowledge and with helpful information our customers can make wise decisions. Every family that chooses Oak Grove, will receive the highest quality funeral service available today. On staff we have three licensed funeral directors and two funeral pre-planning consultants that together have over 125 years of funeral experience. Together, we have personalized the needs and funeral services for thousands of families, giving us a vast amount of knowledge and professionalism to serve our customers. Whether our families choose a traditional burial or cremation service, there will be some type of merchandise required. We offer families a variety of merchandise that will help provide a lasting tribute for your loved one. For cremation, we utilize a crematory at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee, which keeps your family member in the surrounding area at a Kieszkowski owned facility at all times. This also allows our families the opportunity to visit the crematory during and before the cremation process for personal closure and peace of mind. Kieszkowski Owner GENERAL PRICE LIST- June 1, 2015 In compliance with the Federal Trade Commission, we are required to provide you with this General Price List for retention. The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected. BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR & STAFF $ Our fee includes, but is not limited to, the following: staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; consultation with family and clergy; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary notices, authorizations and consents; coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral. Also included are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory expenses. This fee will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. It is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burials, and forwarding and receiving of remains. EMBALMING $ Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing or visitation. Most common carriers also require embalming. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. OTHER PREPARATION OF THE REMAINS $ Services provided may include (when necessary), but are not limited to, the following: washing and disinfecting, restoration, cosmetology, hairdressing and manicuring.

It does not include the services of staff or use of facilities for any viewing or ceremonies, common carrier charges, or mileage fee. IMMEDIATE BURIAL $1, This charge includes local removal and shelter of remains, local transportation to cemetery, necessary basic services of funeral director and staff, and obtaining authorizations and permits. This charge does not include the use of facilities or staff for any viewing, visitation or ceremony, public or private, the cost of the grave, the cemetery's charges or any other goods or services except those expressly set out above.

You are not required to purchase a casket for a direct cremation, but you may do so if you wish. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of material like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). Typically an obituary will run between $50.00 to $ and death certificates for 6 will be $20.00 to $50.00 (Prices vary by newspaper and county).

7 OUTER BURIAL CONTAINER PRICE LIST These prices are effective as of April 1, 2015 but are subject to change without notice. In most areas of the country, no state or local laws make you buy a container to surround the casket in the grave. However many cemeteries ask that you have such a container so the grave will not set or recede. Either a burial vault or a grave liner will satisfy these requirements. WARRANTIES Our Funeral Home makes no representations or warranties about the protective value of certain caskets or outer burial containers other than those made by the manufacturer thereof. NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE EXTENDED BY THE SELLER. PREARRANGED SERVICES Inflation causes prices to increase over the years. Our Pre-need Plan enables you to pay now for future services at today's lower prices. Abbit Management is one of the oldest and largest prearrangement trust companies in the state of Michigan. Your pre-need funds are placed in a trust account in accordance with Michigan law. These funds gain interest which remains in the trust and is used to offset future cost increases. The funds cannot be withdrawn until they are needed to pay for the services you selected. Abbit Management pays all taxes and trust administrative fees and notifies you when any funds are deposited. Regardless of what our charges are in the future, your service is guaranteed without additional cash outlay by family and friends. While most of our customers choose to prepay for their services up-front, we realize that some people appreciate the flexibility of time payments.
