5 nline banking user guide Hme View List f Accunts & Balances The Hme page displays a summary f accunts. Yu can click n any accunt t view accunt details, pending and psted transactins, check images, and mre. View Accunt Transactins & Accunt Details The Accunt Details page prvides access t general accunt infrmatin and transactin histry fr yur accunt. Srt the transactins by the date, descriptin, r amunt by clicking n the clumn title. T search: Enter the transactin descriptin in the search windw. Then press the Enter buttn. T filter r narrw dwn the transactins: Click Shw Filters Yu can filter by the time perid, transactin type, minimum amunt, maximum amunt, and/r check number(s). T view a transactin image: Click the plus sign beside the transactin r click the dcument icn ( ) near the amunt. This icn ( ) indicates there is an image assciated with the transactin. T exprt transactin histry: Click an Accunt t see details Click Exprt t exprt the transactin list t Spreadsheet (xls), Spreadsheet (csv), Micrsft OFX (fx), Quicken (qfx), and QuickBks (qb). 5

6 Services Funds Transfer Funds Transfer allws yu t transfer funds frm City Bank accunt t City Bank accunt r between a City Bank accunt and an accunt at anther financial institutin. Transfers between yur City Bank accunts will happen immediately after they are submitted. It must be submitted by 7:00 PM CST n business days fr same day credit. Transfers between yur City Bank accunt and accunts at ther financial institutins must be submitted by 1:00 PM CST n business days fr availability in 1-2 business days. T transfer funds fllw the steps belw: Chse Funds Transfer under the Services menu. Select a Frm Accunt and a T Accunt. If yu select t transfer/pay t a Lan accunt then an additinal Payment Type ptin will display. Select Standard Payment fr any standard payment t a lan r select Interest Payment t make additinal payments twards interest. Key in the dllar Amunt. One-time: Select the Date Recurring: T make the transfer/payment recurring then check the bx beside Make this a Recurring Transactin. Additinal ptins will display. Select the Transactin Frequency yu need. Select the Start Date and End Date. - Or select the check bx t Repeat Frever. Enter a Mem (ptinal) Click Transfer Funds t cmplete the transfer. 6

7 See Online Histry & Activity See all f yur nline past and sche duled activity in the Activity Center. Select Activity Center under Services. T search transactins enter infrmatin int the search field and click Search. T filter activity, click Shw Filters t switch t the transactin filters. Filters available: transactin type, status, accunt, date T see details abut a transactin click n the plus (+) sign t expand. T send a message t the bank abut a specific transactin, click Inquire. T cpy the transactin and repeat the transactin click Cpy. Submit a Stp Payment T submit a stp payment request: Click Stp Payment under the Services menu. Select r click Single Check r Multiple Checks. Then select r click the Accunt. Enter the check number(s) and click Save. Enter the Payee Name and click Save. Enter the Amunt and click Save. Enter the Date Enter in a Reasn (ptinal) and click Send Request. 7

8 Rerder Checks T rerder checks: G t Check Rerder under Services. Select r Click the accunt. (1st time rder must be made thrugh City Bank) Cmplete yur check rder. Submit a Change f Address T submit address, phne number, and address changes t the bank: Select r click Address Change ptin under Services. Crrect r change any infrmatin and then select all r sme f the accunts where the infrmatin shuld be changed. Add External Accunt T add an external accunt (checking r savings) at anther Financial Institutin: G t Add External Accunt under Services. Enter yur Accunt Number, Accunt Type, and Ruting Number. Click Cntinue. Tw micr depsits will be generated and sent t yur external accunt (typically within 5 business days). Micr depsits are randm depsits in amunts less than $1. Once yu have received these tw micr depsits in yur external accunt, make nte f bth amunts, as yu will need them later in step 2, the verificatin prcess. - Please Nte: Only dmestic (U.S.) banks are allwed. - If the micr depsits d nt appear in yur accunt within the specified timeframe, cntact the ther financial institutin t verify that yu are using the crrect ruting number, as sme institutins d nt use a single number fr all accunt types. 8

9 Verify External Accunt T verify the external accunt that was added thrugh the Add External Accunt prcess: G t Verify External Accunt under Services. Select the Accunt t verify Enter the micr depsit Amunt #1 and Amunt #2. Then click Cntinue. View Branch, ATM & Mrtgage Only Lcatins T view and search fr Branch, ATM, and Mrtgage Only lcatins: G t Lcatins under Services. 9

Read, Reply, and Send Secure Messages T read, reply and send secure messages: Click Messages in the tp prtin f the menu. If there is a number beside Messages that is t indicate yu have new and unread secure messages. T read a message select r click the desired message. Settings Change Accunt Nicknames & Display Order T change the accunt display r nickname and change the display rder: Click r select Accunt Preferences under Settings. T rename an accunt, enter the nickname fr the accunt belw the accunt number. T change the display rder f the accunts, enter the number fr the rder yu wuld like the accunts t display. 10

Click Change Passwrd Enter the new passwrd and click T change yur Lgin ID: G t Security Preferences feature under the Settings menu. Click Change Lgin ID Enter the new lgin ID and click submit T change the delivery methds fr Secure Access Cdes: G t Security Preferences feature under the Settings menu. Security Alerts T add r change yur security alerts G t Security Alerts under Settings Click the n/ff switch t change the alerts Click Edit Delivery Preferences t change where the Security Alerts are sent.= Cash Management Adding, Editing, & Deleting Recipients T add a new Recipient: G t Recipients under Cash Management Select r Click Add Recipient Enter the Recipient infrmatin. Required fields are marked with an asterisk(*). Then select r click Add Accunt. A new tab fr Accunt will appear. Enter in the Accunt Details: Accunt type, Accunt Number, Ruting Number Wires Only: Enter the Beneficiary and Intermediary infrmatin. Then select r click Create Recipient. T edit a Recipient: G t Recipients under Cash Management Click the pencil icn near the Recipient t view the Recipient Details. Edit any Recipient details. Select r click Save Recipient. 11

12 T delete a Recipient: G t Recipients under Cash Management Select r click the pencil icn near the Recipient t view the Recipient Details. Select r click Delete Recipient. Creating One-Time ACH Payments, Cllectins, & Payrll T create a new ne-time payment (ACH Payment, ACH Cllectin, ACH Payrll) G t Payments under Cash Management. Click New Payment select the type f payment yu want t create ACH Batch/Payment, ACH Cllectin, Wire, Payrll Select a previusly created Recipient(s) r Add Recipient (see Adding, Editing, & Deleting Recipients). T select a previusly created Recipient check the bx(es) beside the Recipient Name(s). If yu check the bx beside a Recipient that has multiple accunts t send/ pay mney t it will autmatically direct yu t a secnd screen t select the accunt(s). Select the Ntify check bx t send an ntificatin t the Recipient. Enter the Amunt t pay/send t the Recipient. Click Next. 12

13 Select the subsidiary by click the bx beside the subsidiary name r clicking the subsidiary in the bx. Click Next. Select r Check the bx beside the accunt the item will cme frm r g t. Click Next. Review the summary f yur payments. Select the Effective Date. Click Apprve. The payment(s) has been submitted. 13

14 Creating a Wire Payment T create a new ne-time Wire payment G t Payments under Cash Management. Click New Payment select the type f payment yu want t create Wire - Select a previusly created Recipient(s) r Add Recipient (see Adding, Editing, & Deleting Recipients). - T select a previusly created Recipient check the bx(es) beside the Recipient Name(s). - Select the Ntify check bx t send an ntificatin t the Recipient. - Enter the Amunt t pay/send t the Recipient. - Click Next. - Select r Check the bx beside the accunt the item will cme frm r g t. - Click Next. - Review the summary f yur wire payment. - Select the Effective Date. - Enter a Descriptin (ptinal). - Click Apprve. - The wire payment has been submitted. 14

15 Creating a Payment frm File T create a payment frm file G t Payments under Cash Management. Click New Payment select Payment frm File. Select the Payment Type. Click Select a file t imprt and the Open dialg bx appears. In the Open dialg bx, lcate the file that yu want t uplad, and click Open. (The prcess t lcate the file varies, depending n yur device) Click r Select Uplad File. Select the Pay Frm/Pay T accunt. Select the Subsidiary (ptinal). Select the Effective Date. Click Submit. Creating a Reusable Payment Template T create a Reusable Payment template fr ACH Batches/Payments, ACH Cllectins, Wires, and ACH Payrll. G t Payments under Cash Management. Click New Template and select the Type f template yu wuld like t create. Enter a Template Name Select which Cmpany User s will have access t the Template. Click Next. 15

16 T select a previusly created Recipient check the bx(es) beside the Recipient Name(s). Select the Ntify check bx t send an ntificatin t the Recipient. Enter the Amunt t pay/send t the Recipient. Click Next. Select the subsidiary by click the bx beside the subsidiary name r clicking the subsidiary in the bx. Click Next Select r Check the bx beside the accunt the item will cme frm r g t. Click Next. Review the summary f yur payment template. Select the Effective Date. Click Apprve. The template and payment has been submitted. The template can be reused fr future payments that will be similar. 16

17 Submit State r Federal Tax Payments T submit a tax payment G t Tax Payments under Cash Management. Select the Tax Authrity frm the drp-dwn list r type in the search bx t find the crrect tax frm needed. Enter the Required Infrmatin Click Submit. Manage Cmpany Users T manage the access levels f cmpany users G t User Management under Services. Click the pencil icn ( ) by the user name t edit the user. A new page will display the user infrmatin. This infrmatin can nly be edited by City Bank. T edit the user rights click Assign Rights. The Overview tab cntains the rights and apprval limits fr each transactin type. Each transactin type has the fllwing limits per user: Dllar Limit Number and Dllar amunt per day Number and Dllar amunt per mnth Number and Dllar amunt per accunt. 17

18 Levels f transactin apprval: Draft - Create a draft, create a template - Create a draft based n an assigned existing template, and change the amunt, settlement date, and descriptin. - Cannt create a draft and transactin type des nt appear in the New Payments list. Apprve - Apprve a draft - Cannt apprve a draft Cancel - Cancel an existing draft r an apprved but unprcessed transactin. - Cannt cancel View - Can view activity by all users - Can view their wn activity. Cannt view activity by any ther users. - Cannt view activity by any user. The Features tab cntains the list f the features assigned t the user. Features Available: - Manage Templates Create new templates f any transactin type, edit any existing templates f any transactin type, and delete any exisiting templates. - Manage Recipients create, edit, and delete recipients. Add exisiting recipients t templates, and remve existing recipient frm templates. - Manage Users edit users. - Statement Image View statement images. - Verify External Accunt - Add External Accunt - Psitive Pay - Business Bill Pay - Mney Manager PFM - Gift Card Management - Bill Pay 18

19 The Accunts tab cntains the list f accunts that the user can access. The User can have the fllwing levels f access t each accunt. View view balance and histry fr the accunt in nline banking. Depsit depsit funds int the accunt in nline banking. Withdraw Withdraw funds frm the accunt in nline banking. Tkens City Bank requires that all Cash Management custmers that have access t send Wires r ACH items utilize a tken at the transactin level. Fr yur cnvenience, we give three ptins n the type f tken each user at yur cmpany can use. The three ptins are Symantec VIP Access Desktp, Symantec VIP Access Mbile App, and Symantec VIP Physical Tken. Symantec Validatin & ID Prtectin (VIP) prtects yur nline accunts and transactins. The VIP credential prvides a dynamic security cde that yu can use in additin t yur user name and passwrd fr safe and secure accunt access and transactin submissin. Several ptins are available fr yu t select t utilize as a tken. See the ptins belw. Symantec VIP Access Desktp Symantec Validatin & ID Prtectin (VIP) Access Desktp is a free nline security credential that yu can dwnlad t yur cmputer desktp (Windws r MAC). Hw des VIP Access wrk? VIP Access helps prtect yur accunts and yur identity by requiring a higher level f security when yu cnduct nline transactins. Nte the six-digit security cde in VIP Access Desktp after yu Sign In t a VIP Participating Organizatin. Enter the security cde in the field prvided by the site fr secure accunt access. T use Symantec VIP Access Desktp: G t Dwnlad the apprpriate versin (Windws r MAC) Cmplete the installatin. Send the Credential ID t the bank in a secure message in Online Banking. 19

20 Symantec VIP Access fr Mbile (Andrid, Windws, iphne, ipad, Blackberry, Other) Symantec Validatin & ID Prtectin (VIP) Access fr Mbile is a free nline security credential that yu can dwnlad t yur mbile device. Hw des VIP Access wrk? VIP Access helps prtect yur accunts and yur identity by requiring a higher level f security when yu cnduct nline transactins. T use VIP Access, launch the VIP Access applicatin frm yur mbile device, and nte the six-digit security cde. Then, Sign In t participating nline banks and merchant sites frm yur laptp r desktp cmputer with yur user name, passwrd, and the unique security cde. T use Symantec VIP Access Mbile: G t r yur phne s app stre and search fr VIP Access Dwnlad the apprpriate versin t yur phne Send the Credential ID t the bank in a secure message in Online Banking. Symantec VIP Physical Tken Symantec Validatin & ID Prtectin (VIP) Security Tken is an nline security credential that adds an extra layer f identity prtectin when yu Sign In t participating nline banks and merchant sites within the VIP netwrk. VIP Security Tkens are prtable devices that can easily be attached t yur keychain. Hw des a VIP Physical Tken wrk? A VIP Security Tken prtects yur accunts and yur identity by requiring a higher level f security when yu cnduct nline transactins. T use a VIP Security Tken, press the buttn n the tken t generate a six-digit security cde that is unique t yur credential. Then, Sign In t participating nline banks and merchant sites with yur user name, passwrd, and the unique security cde. T use Symantec VIP Access Physical Tken: Cntact the bank via secure message r send an request t esg@city.bank 20

21 Mney Manager This guide will walk yu thrugh the different features f the Master Widget and give yu tips that will help yu wrk mre quickly. Available functinality depends n the sftware cnfiguratin determined by yur financial services prvider. All aspects f the user guide may nt apply. We recmmend fllwing the belw steps when first using the Master Widget: Add all f yur external accunts. G thrugh yur transactin histry and make sure everything is categrized crrectly. Set up yur budgets. Transactins 21

24 Net Wrth If yu want t add mre accunts in the future g t the Accunts view and click n [+ ADD AN ACCOUNT]. When yu ve finished adding accunts, click n settings and fill ut yur prfile and clse the windw. 24

25 Navigatin Bar The navigatin bar is lcated at the tp f the Master Widget. Click n an icn t switch t that view. The navigatin bar als cntains ntificatins, Manage Institutins, Help and settings capabilities. Users will see ntificatins as part f the PFM thrugh the Ntificatin Pane. A red badge will indicate the number f unread ntificatins. Financial Alerts will be delivered thrugh the Ntificatins Pane in additin t the current delivery channel. These alerts are Budget Exceeded and Debt Payment Reminder. When clicked, the Ntificatins Pane icn will shw the user s ntificatins, in chrnlgical rder, with the mst recent at the tp. 25

26 Clicking n a ntificatin will take the user directly t the relevant part f the PFM. In the case f clicking n a budget exceeded ntificatin, a user will be taken directly t that budget: The Manage institutin Icn will ntify yu if there is a prblem with a cnnectin t a financial institutin. Users will be presented with suggested steps t help reslve the issue. With the Need Help? ptin always present, users can easily submit a supprt tickets fr any uses they may be having. 26

27 Settings Click n the settings icn t change yur prfile infrmatin, add r remve a mbile device, and manage yur alert settings. 27

28 Accunts In the Accunts View, yu can see all f yur linked and manually created accunts in ne place. On the left hand side, the sums f accunt balances are displayed by type. If an accunt is indicated as Prepaid in the feed, we will display it in the list f accunt types in the Accunts widget. When there is at least ne prepaid accunt, this ptin will shw as an ptin in the list f accunt types: 28

29 If an accunt type is empty, clicking n the relevant area will prmpt yu t add an accunt. Add an Accunt 1. Click n the [+Add an Accunt] buttn n the sub navigatin bar. 2. Search by the institutin s name r URL. The use desn t need t wait fr an accunt t successfully cnnect befre they can start adding their next accunt. If the user needs t take actin (answer MFA questins, update credentials), the prduct will ntify them. 29

30 3. Select the institutin frm the list and enter the request lgin credentials. 4. If yur accunt is nt supprted, yu can add a manual accunt by clicking ADD A MANUAL ACCOUNT. Yu can als add yur prperty as a manual accunt. If yu have a mrtgage, yu shuld enter in the value f yur hme s it will balance ut yur net wrth. Yu can als enter in the value f any vehicles r ther prperty that yu wuld like t have calculated int yur net wrth. Edit an Accunt On the right side yu can view individual accunts within each accunt type. Each accunt card displays the name, balance, APR/ APY, and a recent trending graph f yur accunt balances. 30

31 Click n an accunt card t edit infrmatin. An verlay will appear, displaying infrmatin fr the selected accunt. Yu can change the type r name by clicking n the desired field. Yu can als mark an accunt as business r persnal. New transactins assciated with this accunt will be autmatically flagged accrdingly. Fr manual accunts, yu can als change the balance. The link status sectin will let yu knw when the accunt was last updated. Belw that, yu can view a six mnth histry f the average accunt balance. Nte: T view transactin histry, click n the Transactins buttn at the tp f the navigatin bar and select the accunt(s) yu wish t see assciated transactins fr. Delete an Accunt 1. Click n the trashcan icn in the bttm right hand crner. 2. Click Delete. Nte: Yu cannt delete an accunt added by yur primary institutin. 31

32 Exclude an Accunt Fr certain accunts a delete ptin will nt be available. If the trashcan icn des nt appear this means that the accunt was autmatically added by yur primary institutin. These accunts cannt be deleted, hwever, they can be excluded. 1. In the accunt detail view, click n [Exclude Accunt] 2. An alert will appear asking yu t cnfirm if yu want t exclude the accunt. Click [Exclude] 32

33 Excluding an accunt hides that accunt, its transactins, and its balance frm the sftware. This essentially deletes the accunt with the ptin t re-include it in the future if it ever becmes necessary. Example f excluded accunts: When yu click n an excluded accunt, the belw windw will appear. Click n [Re-include this accunt] t re-include. 33

34 Merging Accunts If a user has duplicate accunts, they can nw mark an accunt as duplicate frm the accunt details view and merge it with anther accunt. It will require them t type the wrd MERGE t cmplete the prcess. This may be necessary if, fr example, a bank sends a different name fr the same accunt, making it seem as thugh there are tw accunts, r if a user has t replace a lst r stlen card. Only accunts within the same cnnected institutin can be merged. 34

35 View Transactin Yu can drill dwn t transactins frm either the main accunt card r the accunt detail view by clicking n a specific mnth in the accunt histry bar graph. 35

36 Manage Institutins Click the Manage Institutins icn t view all cnnectins with yur institutins. In the windw that appears, yu will be able t see the status f yur cnnectins. Yu will als have the ability t refresh a cnnectin, re-enter in yur credentials r delete the accunt (if it is an external accunt). When accunts are refreshing, a spinner will appear n the Manage Institutins icn. Linked Accunt Status Alng with the Manage Institutins view, there are a cuple f ther areas that will alert yu when an accunt has failed t cnnect. In the All Accunts view, if an accunt has failed aggregatin, an exclamatin mark will appear in the upper right hand crner f the accunt card. 36

37 In the accunt detail view, a red warning message will appear in the Link Status sectin if an errr has ccurred with yur accunt cnnectin. It will either say Smething went wrng, r Lgin infrmatin prvided was incrrect. Click n the message t attempt aggregatin again r update yur credentials. 37

38 Transactins The Transactins View prvides a cnslidated list f all transactins frm every institutin rdered by time. Yu have the ability t select a different time windw by using the sub navigatin bar, r yu can create a custm time windw by selecting the start and end date. Yur first time viewing transactins, yu shuld already have a transactin histry. The exact amunt f histry retrieved varies by institutin. We will cntinue t save yur histry mving frward. 38

39 Srting and Searching Transactins The Transactins View allws yu t srt by Date, Payee, Categry, Accunt, r Amunt by clicking nce n the clumn heading. Click again t reverse the rder. Yu can als search by any f these fields in the search windw. Date The date f the transactin. This will match the date frm yur financial institutin, but may nt match the actual date f purchase. Payee The descriptin frm yur institutin. Yu can rename the transactin as needed. Categry The budget/spending categry fr the transactin. Accunt The accunt a transactin belngs t. Amunt The ttal amunt f a transactin. Green indicates an incme r credit transactin. Categrize Transactins When yur transactins are pulled in, they will autmatically be categrized. Yu may ntice several transactins that are categrized incrrectly. We take int accunt hw ther users have categrized similar transactins in the past and hw yu have categrized similar transactins. Fr example, itunes will cme in as Music. If yu g t a small lcal vendr that n ther users have been t befre, we may try and guess the categry r simply mark it as uncategrized. We encurage yu t g thrugh yur transactins histry and check that each transactin is categrized crrectly. If yu d that frm the very beginning, we will autmatically categrize yur new transactins mre accurately. T d s, click n the desired transactin and an verlay will appear. 39

40 Select the arrw n the right hand side f the Categry drp dwn menu. Yu can select frm a list f categries r sub-categries beneath them. Just click n the categry and yur change will be reflected acrss the Transactins, Budgets, and Spending Views. Edit Transactins Alng with changing the categry, there are several ther things that yu can d within the same verlay. 41 If the user has changed the date n an aggregated transactin, the ptin t revert back t the riginal date will appear n the transactin details card. When a transactin date has been changed, there will be an underline n the date in the transactin list. A tltip will display the riginal date when yu hver ver the changed date. 41

Clicking n the Exprt CSV buttn will exprt all transactins in the current transactin list view, taking int accunt all transactin list filters (date range, search, etc.) Add a Manual Transactin T add a manual transactin, click n [+Add Transactins] n the sub navigatin bar. Chse the apprpriate manual accunt; enter in the amunt, transactin type, payee, date, and categry. Additinally, yu can add any tags fr later searching, add a mem n the transactin, r set transactin flags. Click n SAVE when yu are dne. 47

49 Budgets The Budgets View presents a targeted display f yur spending and yur prgress t hitting yur verall budget each mnth. Yur spending is nly tracked in categries where yu have already created a budget. When yu first use the Budgets View, yu will have the ptin t start frm scratch r have the sftware aut generate budgets based ff f yur spending histry. If yu chse t start frm scratch the sftware will present a menu f categries t chse frm. Chse a categry then set the budget amunt. 49

50 If yu chse t have the sftware aut generate yur budgets, it will display a list f budget categries and amunts based ff f yur spending histry. Make sure t g thrugh the list and edit the amunts if necessary. If yu dn t want a specific budget tracked, simply click n the [trashcan icn] and cnfirm by clicking [DELETE THIS BUDGET] in the alert. 51 Bubble Budgets After yur budgets are created, mving frward, by default, yur budgets will be shwn in the bubble frm. Yu will als have the ability t view and edit yur prjected incme within budgets, helping the user t make budget decisins that balance with their incme. Prjected incme is calculated based n transactin histry; hwever, the user can als edit this number manually. T edit the prjected incme, click n the amunt: 51
