1 Why Zag? Our aspiration with every tour is to inspire a change in direction among those traveling with us. Our international tours are carefully designed with a growth mindset to enable our athletes to stretch themselves. We combine the best training on the field with impactful cultural, educational, and volunteer experiences off the field. We don t just see local people from afar, we engage them, learn from them, and give back to them. We believe in using travel as a tool for making a difference in your team and the countries we visit. Sports Tours by Sports People. We are the only large team touring organization whose majority ownership, operating staff abroad, and other staff are high level hockey and sport people. We understand the needs of our U.S. teams on the field. More importantly, we have a passion for the game and the athletes we work to develop. Changing Lives & Giving Back. We feel a responsibility to create international tours that are also vehicles to serving the greater good. Service has been part of our fabric since Zag s inception. 2 Zag Bermuda FH Tour Day 1, Tuesday, August 13th 02:30pm Arrive at JFK airport 05:25pm Depart for Bermuda on AA Flight # :52pm Arrive in Bermuda/Collect Bags/Customs 09:30pm Transfer via shuttle to hotel (10 minutes) Hotel: Grotto Bay Hotel Check in to room Day 2, Wednesday, August 14th Breakfast at hotel (included) Transfer to National Stadium for Training Session #1 (self-led) Transfer to St. George for lunch (not included) Zag Culture: Watch Bermuda s history come to life as the St. George s Town Crier conducts an 18th century trial. This entertaining and light-hearted historical re-enactment will show how an offender was publicly punished, including the ducking of a nagging wench. Finish with a historic tour of the Lili Bermuda Perfumery. Transfer back to field Transfer to National Stadium for Training Session #2 (self-led) 06:00m Walk to Swizzle Inn Dinner (included) 08:30pm Day 3, Thursday, August 15th Breakfast in hotel (included) Zag Team Building/Culture: Cricket Lesson by International cricket coach and Bermuda local. It has been rated the #8 beach in the world by TripAdvisor. It lies on the main island's south coast, in the parish of Southampton. Be sure to walk along the beach & look for snorkeling opportunities & pink sand. Help the Bermuda Zoological Society restore an island that is utilized to run education session for children at risk in Bermuda.
