Sealed Tenders are invited by the President, KVAOA, Yelahanka for the following Name of work:- Maintenance of Arboriculture AT KENDRIYA VIHAR COMPLEX FROM TO Cost of each tender document is Rs.500/-(Rupees Five hundred only). Copies of tender documents can be purchased from the Administrative officer, KVAOA on any day during office hours by payment of cash. The filled in tenders can be deposited with the Administrative officer, KVAOA upto 1500 hrs on 20 th December, 2016 along with Earnest money Deposit (EMD) of Rs.10,000/- in the form of cheque/ D D in favour of KVAOA or in cash. The tenders received will be opened by the Office Bearer of KVAOA at 1530 hrs, on the same day i.e. 20 th December, 2016 in the presence of those tenderers who wish to be present. EMD of the successful tenderer will be retained and of all others will be returned. For any further clarifications, PRESIDENT /MC/KVAOA or the Administrative officer, / KVAOA during the office hours between 10 AM to 5.00 PM ( Monday to Saturday) or at any mutual fixed convenient time The KVAOA reserves the right to accept, modify or reject any of the tenders without assigning any reason there of. 5 ANNEXURE-II PROVISIONS OF MAINTENANCE OF ARBORICULTURE ASSETS CREATED AT KENDRIYA VIHAR RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX, YELAHANKA BANGALORE-64 TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1. Rates quoted to include all expenses towards cost of manure, fertilizers, insecticides, transportation and labour charges etc. 2. During the period of maintenance, decayed/ dead plants should be immediately replaced. 3. Acceptance of completed work and maintenance services are subject to the approval of President KVAOA, Yelahanka or his authorized representative. 4. The contractor will arrange for the services enumerated above by employing /deploying sufficient no of Workers/Malis. in the manner that it provides efficient and regular services. 5. The contractor or his authorized representative will report to the President, KVAOA or his representative every day and will give details of the personnel employed for the work and will also submit the completion report of the day s work. If the services rendered are found to be unsatisfactory, no payment for the entire day will be made. The amount so involved will be on pro-rata basis. 6. The Contractor shall arrange to plant a minimum of 5 Nos. of new trees in each month in the complex at his expenses. 7. The Contractor shall plant Aromatic trees in all corners of the KV Complex. 8. The Contractor shall procure required seeds from Lal Bagh, Bangalore or authorised Local Nurseries at his own expenses. 9. A Compost pit of reasonable size shall be maintained for periodical manuring of plants and flower beds of the KV Complex behind the Vegetable shop of Kendriya Vihar.
