Experience of having successfully completed similar works during last 07 (seven) years ending last day of the month previous to the one in which applications are invited should be either of the following: a) One similar completed works costing not less than Rs. 7,16,658 /- or b) Two similar completed works costing not less than Rs. 4,47,911 /- or c) Three similar completed works costing not less than Rs. 3,58,329 /- Full details, specification, terms & conditions of work shall be available in the tender document for above NIT that can be downloaded from UCIL website Telex, telephonic, postal or e.mail bids will not be entertained. Cost of tender & EMD to be deposited in a separate envelope with the offer in the form of DD/ TDR (drawn in favour of Uranium Corporation of India Limited, payable at SBI Jaduguda branch (Code 0227) or SBI challan. Offer should be inclusive of ESI but exclusive of service tax, which is reimbursable. Three(03) paid national holiday shall be considered in the offer. Price bid will be opened to technically qualified bidder. The filled in tender document in all respect to be submitted in the office of Addl. 6 Scope of Work: Labour supply of 06 (Six) manpower /day (03 nos. in A shift + 03 nos. in B shift) for regular charging and preparation of Hydrated Lime in ETP of Turamdih Millas required on day to day basis. Hydrated lime bags of Kgs each are to be pulled from the godown & charged in a preparation pit having an agitator and spray water arrangement for mixing of the same to make it a solution which is to be transferred by a sump pump in two storage tanks for further dosing it to reaction tanks for maintaining the ph of the effluent. The job shall be carried out in two shifts e.g. A and B only. In each shift, two persons are required on regular basis to charge maximum nos. of the Hydrated lime bags for its preparation and use. Period of Completion: 305 (Three hundred and five) days from date of supply of start of the work (excluding holidays & Sundays). Working period & Responsibility: 6.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M. & 2.00 P.M. to P.M. on all working days. The job to be carried out will be explained to the contractor or his supplied manpowerat the beginning of the contract & they will be responsible for carrying out the assigned quantity of work. Payment: 11 (Eleven) R.A. bill and 01 (one) Final bill shall be paid. Only three (03) national holidays will be paid extra (Republic Day, Independence Day & Gandhi Jayanti). Escalation Clause: To protect the minimum wages of labour engaged in this job, price escalation & reimbursement of any new taxes & duties (after the date of opening of tender) or variation of existing taxes & duties will be considered. 7 Insurance: You have to arrange Insurance (ESI) coverage for manpower engaged for the work. Gate Pass: Bidders have to arrange gate pass on their own for 08 (eight) persons at least so that full quota of manpower (06 Nos.) could be supplied. Award of contract: Contract for labour supply will be fully awarded to L1 bidder. Penalty: Penalty will be imposed on pro-data basis for short supply of manpower than desired 06(six) manpower on day-to-day supply as below: i. Up to 06 manpower supplied No penalty. ii. Manpower supplied below 06 & up to 04 Penalty of 15% of the offered cost per manpower. iii. Manpower supplied below 04 & up to 02 Penalty of 20% of the offered cost per manpower. iv. Manpower supplied below 02 Penalty of 30% of the offered cost per manpower. v. No Manpower Full cost per person shall be deducted Rejection of Contract: If concerned Engineer-in-Charge finds that jobs are not being done properly and there are slackness in work or progress is not satisfactory, then reminder shall be issued to the party for the improvement and even then if not improved then contract shall be cancelled. Discrepancies and Adjustment of Errors: a) If there are varying or conflicting provisions made in any one document forming a part of the Contract, the accepting authority shall be the deciding authority with regard to the intention of the document. b) If on check there are found to be difference between the rates given by the Contractor in words and figures or in the amount worked out by him in the schedule of quantities and general summary the same shall be adjusted in accordance with the following rules: i) In the event of discrepancies between description in words and figures quoted by a Tenderer, the description in words shall prevail. 8 ii) In the event of error occurring in the amount column of schedule of quantities as a result of wrong extension of the Unit rate and quantity, the Unit rate shall be regarded as firm & extension shall be amended on the basis of the rate. iii) All errors in totaling in the amount column and carrying forwarded totals shall be corrected. Safety: You have to arrange all tools & tackles at your own cost like shovels, Gumboot, Gloves, Helmets, Goggles, Respirator etc. to all the persons engaged daily. Medical: Medical fitness certificate for all employed persons from recognized doctor must be submitted to safety officer of UCIL before start and completion of the work. Firm Price: Price quoted shall remain firm till the completion of the work. Rules and Regulations: You have to follow all security, safety and labour rules of the Corporation. Security Deposit: You have to submit an amount equivalent to 5% of the awarded value of the work as security deposit in form of Demand Draft in favour of UCIL payable at State Bank of India, Jaduguda. Start up work: Within 20 (twenty) days of award of work order.
