Cost of tender & EMD to be deposited in a separate envelope with the offer in the form of DD (drawn in favour of Uranium Corporation of India Limited, payable at SBI Jaduguda branch (Code 0227). Copy of Pan No, P.F. Registration No. & Service Tax Registration No. have to be deposited separately, otherwise offer shall not be considered. Price part should be deposited in a separate envelope. Offers should be excluding service tax only, which is reimbursable. The filled tender document in all respect to be submitted in the office of Addl. Manager (Pers.), UCIL, Turamdih Mines, PO- Sundernager Dist: Singhbhum (East), Jharkhnad to reach on or before the due date. The Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Tender (s) either in full or part thereof or to split up the work, if necessary without assigning any reason whatsoever. 5 Scope of Work: Labour supply of 22 (Twenty two) manpower /day for regular removal of spillage cleaning in various units in UCT-1B area, Turamdih Mill i.e. Pyrolusite conveying and grinding, Limestone conveying and grinding, Burnet lime crushing, conveying and slaking, Tailings neutralization and disposal & Sand generation etc. Manpower can be engaged other site of the plant as per instruction of Incharge. Period of Completion: 305 (Three hundred five) days from date of supply of start of the work (Excluding holidays & Sundays) Working period & Responsibility: 8.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. & 2.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M. on all working days. One supervisor shall be engaged for supervision of jobs. The job to be carried out will be explained to the contractor or his supervisor every day & they will be responsible for carrying out the assigned quantity of work. Payment: 11 (Eleven) R.A. bill and 01 (one) Final bill shall be paid. Insurance: You are to arrange Insurance coverage for manpower engaged for the work. Gate Pass: Bidders have to arrange gate pass on their own for 27 (twenty seven) persons at least so that full quota of manpower (22 Nos.) could be supplied. Page 5 of 7

6 Award of contract: Contract for labour supply will be awarded to successful bidder L1. Penalty: Penalty will be imposed on pro-data basis for short supply of manpower than desired 22 (Twenty two) manpower on day-to-day supply as below: i. Up to 18 manpower supplied No penalty ii. Manpower supplied below 18 & up to 15 Penalty of 25% of the offered cost iii. Manpower supplied below 15 up to 10 Penalty of 30% of the offered cost iv. Manpower supplied below 10 Full cost per person shall be deducted Rejection of Contract: If concerned Engineer-in-Charge finds that jobs are not being done properly and there are slackness in work or progress is not satisfactory, then reminder shall be issued to the party for the improvement and even then not improved then contract shall be cancelled. Safety: You have to arrange all tools & tackles at your own cost like shovels, Gumboot, Gloves, Helmets, Goggles, etc. to all the persons engaged daily. Firm Price: Price quoted shall remain firm till the completion of the work. Rules and Regulations: You have to follow all security, safety and labour rules of the Corporation. Page 6 of 7

7 Security Deposit: You have to submit an amount equivalent to 5% of the awarded value of the work as security deposit in form of Demand Draft in favour of UCIL payable at State Bank of India, Jaduguda. Medical: Medical fitness certificate for all employed persons from recognized doctor must be submitted to safety officer of UCIL before start of work. Start up work: Within 15 (fifteen) days of award of work order/loi.
