1 PETRONAS DAGANGAN BERHAD AWESOME BOLA TERMS AND CONDITIONS Contest 1.0 Organizer: PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad ( PDB ) is the organizer of this PETRONAS AWESOME BOLA ( Contest ). 2.0 Eligibility: 2.1 This Contest is open to all PETRONAS Station customers, with Malaysian citizenship, aged eighteen (18) and above ( Participants ) subject to the following Terms and Conditions. 2.2 This Contest is open to all Participants, except for the following category of person who are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate in the Contest: (a) (b) (c) Permanent/Contract employee of PETRONAS and their immediate family members specially defined as father, mother, spouses and children PETRONAS Station dealers and Krew PETRONAS and their immediate family members including father, mother, spouses and children Employees of advertising and promotional agencies for PDB and their immediate family members including father, mother, spouses and children 2.3 In the event a Participant is found to be ineligible at any point of time during or after the Contest Period, PDB reserves the right to disqualify the said Participant and to cancel/withdraw/recall any Prize won by the Participant, failing which, the Participant agrees and undertakes to indemnify PDB for the costs of such prizes. PDB shall have the right to initiate any action it deems necessary against the said Participant. 3.0 Contest Period: Unless otherwise notified by PDB, the Contest will be conducted from 11 June 2016 to 11 July 2016 ( Contest Period ), both dates are inclusive. *daily winners selection is from 12 June 2016 to 11 July 2016 (30 days). 1

2 4.0 The Contest Mechanics: 4.1 To be eligible for the Contest, Participants: a) Minimum purchase of RM40 on PETRONAS PRIMAX97 or PETRONAS PRIMAX95 or DYNAMIC Diesel ( Fuel ) and/or any items from Kedai Mesra ( Items ) at any PETRONAS stations in a single or cumulative transactions via cash, credit card, PETRONAS Gift Card or SmartPay or using Mesra Card s points within Contest Period. b) Participants are required to present and swipe Mesra Card during the payment transaction in order to enter the Contest. (No contest form is required, participation can only be made via electronic transaction) c) For every minimum purchase of RM40 in a single or cumulative transactions, Participant will be entitled for one (1) entry Ilustration 1 : Participant make minimum purchase of RM 40 or more on Fuel and/or Items using cash, credit card, PETRONAS Gift Card, Smartpay or Mesra Card s points in a single or cumulative transactions i. Participant will obtained one (1) entry for every RM40 spent. Example RM80 = 2 entries; RM120 = 3 entries Ilustration 2 : Participant make minimum purchase of RM 10 for 4 times or more on Fuel and/or Items using cash, credit card, PETRONAS Gift Card, Smartpay or Mesra Card s points in a single or cumulative transactions i. Participant will obtained one (1) entry for every RM40 spent. Example RM10 x 4 transactions = RM40 = 1 entry ** excluding purchase of items such as cigarettes, mobile reload, TouchnGo and bill payment. ** Mesra Card has to be registered online at to facilitate PETRONAS to contact the customers should they are selected as the winners. 4.5 By the end of the Contest Period, one thousand three hundred fifty (1,350) winners will be selected by PDB via computerized selection system, witnessed by the appointed external auditor. PDB s decision on all matters relating to this Contest (including the selection of winners) shall be final and binding. No enquiries on winners selection will be entertained. 4.6 The lucky winners will be contacted and one question will be asked to qualify them to win their prizes. 4.7 Prizes offered are as listed in Item 5.0 below. 2

3 5.0 The Contest Prizes: The Prizes are as follows: a. ADIDAS European team jersey (300 Winners) - 10 winners daily x 30 days b. Exclusive ADIDAS PETRONAS jersey (600 Winners) - 20 winners daily x 30 days c. Adidas EURO football (450 Winners) - 15 winners daily x 30 days *sizes of the jerseys are randomly decided by PDB 6.0 Miscellaneous: 6.1 The winners will be notified via PDB s website at The prize will be delivered directly to winners address within three (3) months upon notification of winners on PDB s website or through other means as notified by PDB. The winners are required to fill in a declaration form. 6.3 Every winner is only entitled to one (1) prize throughout the contest period. 6.4 PDB will contact the potential winner(s) via phone (through the telephone number as per registered in Mesra Card s application form). 6.5 In the event that PDB opts to contact the potential winner by phone and is unable to get through the potential winner(s) due to any reason whatsoever such as the call being out of coverage, unanswered or out of service, PDB will then make another two (2) attempts to contact the potential winner(s) within four (4) hours. Where such attempts are unsuccessful, PDB hereby reserves the right to select the next potential winner where the same process of selecting the winner will be repeated until a winner is identified. 6.6 All winners shall be bound by further terms and conditions as determined by PDB at its sole discretion. 6.7 All Prizes must be claimed within six (6) months from the date of publication of the winners names mentioned in Item 6.1 above. All Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or any other items or packages. Winners are not allowed to claim for the Prizes after the period stated in this clause. 6.8 PDB reserves the right at anytime at its absolute discretion without prior notice, to substitute any of the Prizes with other items of similar or higher value. 3

4 6.9 PDB reserves the right to choose the specifications of the Prizes and PDB s decision on this matter is final By entering or participating in the Contest, Participants hereby fully and unconditionally agree and accept all Terms and Conditions herein contained and agrees that the decisions of PDB regarding the Contest and all matters relating to or in connection thereto are final and binding and no such queries, appeals or correspondences will be entertained Non-compliance by the Participants and/or winners with any of the Terms and Conditions herein contained shall entitle PDB to disqualify any entry and/or revoke any Prizes awarded PDB reserves the right to cancel, shorten, extend, suspend or terminate the Contest at any time prior to the expiry of the Contest Period without prior notice. For avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, extension, suspension or termination of the Contest Period at any time prior to the expiry of the Contest Period shall not entitle the Participants to claim any compensation from PDB for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Participants as a result of the said cancellation, extension, suspension or termination. PDB also reserves the right to amend, modify, delete or change any of the Terms and Conditions herein contained at any time at its absolute discretion without prior notice. Continued participation in the Contest following any such changes and/or amendments shall constitute your unconditional acknowledgment, understanding, agreement and acceptance of such changes in respect of the Terms and Conditions 6.13 PDB reserves the right to use the names, addresses, photographs, information and documents of the Participants and/or winners as materials in advertisements and other form of publicity for the current and future marketing purposes from time to time without prior notice to the Participants and/or winners and the Participant and winner shall not claim ownership of the material. Participation of the Participants in the Contest constitutes their consent to such use, without further notice, payment or consideration PDB shall not be held responsible or liable for any claims of loss or damage to property or personal injury or loss of life by the Participants, winners and/or any party resulting from or arising out of or in connection with this Contest or the Prizes given under this Contest These Terms and Conditions prevail over any provisions or representations contained in any brochure or other promotional materials advertised under this Contest In the event of any inconsistency between the English Language and the Bahasa Malaysia versions, the Terms and Conditions in the English version shall prevail. 4
