1 Terms & Conditions for KenTrade s Friends Referral Campaign The following Terms and Conditions shall be applicable to Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad s (15678-H) ("KIBB ) KenTrade s Friends Referral Campaign (hereinafter referred to as the Campaign") which shall be held from 21 May 2018 until 13 July 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the Campaign Period ). Eligibility 1. By participating in this Campaign, you hereby agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions herein. 2. The Campaign is open to all existing and new individual KIBB clients who are Malaysian residents (including with Permanent Resident status), except: I. Individuals below the age of 18; II. Permanent and/or contract employees of KIBB, KIBB Group of Companies and their immediate family members*; and III. Remisiers of KIBB and their immediate family members* *(immediate family members means parent(s), sibling (s), spouse(s) and child(s)) 3. All existing account holders opening another trading account are not eligible for this Campaign. 4. The Campaign is applicable for all online trades including foreign trades Campaign Period 5. The Campaign Period comprises of the following phases :- a. Referral Period is defined as the period when existing clients refers a potential customer to become a KenTrade client from 21 May 2018 to 15 June b. Successful Referral Period is defined as the period when the potential customer successfully becomes a KenTrade client and trades on KenTrade from 21 May 2018 to13 July Campaign Mechanism 6. The existing client refers potential client(s) by creating a unique referral link and to the potential client(s) in the referral page which will be available on KenTrade. Please refer to 1

2 7. Potential client(s) will receive a unique referral link via that will direct the potential client to a page where they will input and submit their contact details to enable KIBB s dealer representative to contact the potential client for onboarding 8. The potential client must successfully open a KenTrade account and perform two (2) trades on KenTrade during the Campaign Period. 9. A successful referral is when the potential client meets the requirements mentioned in clause The total cash rewards are as follows No of Successful Referrals Cash Rewards (RM) Total Cash Rewards ( RM) The total cash reward to be given out under this Campaign is limited to fifty (50) existing clients who have successfully referred new clients to KenTrade. 12. Each existing client s entitlement to the cash reward is limited to the first ten (10) successful referrals made during the Campaign Period. 13. New clients are rewarded with 2,000 BPoints upon performing two (2) trades during the Campaign Period. 14. A trade refers to a completed contract subject to a minimum brokerage fee. 15. If more than one existing client claims to have referred the same potential client, the submission by the potential client first received by KIBB shall be taken into consideration to determine the successful existing client. 16. If the referral unique link is shared on by a third party, the third party will not be entitled to receive any cash reward. 2

3 General Terms 17. By participating in the Campaign, all participants are deemed to have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein and further agree that any decision by KIBB and any organizer in relation to every aspect of the Campaign, including the cash prizes to be given away and the determination of a successful referral shall be final, binding and conclusive. No correspondence, queries, appeals or protest (whether verbal or written) will be entertained. 18. The cash prizes hall be delivered to the existing client s trust account within sixty (60) days upon notification to the existing client or any further period as determined by KIBB. 19. KIBB reserves the sole and absolute right and exclusive discretion to disqualify all entries from any participant of this Campaign and prohibit the participant who is disqualified from further participating in this Campaign for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to in the event there is reasonable suspicion that a participant has tampered with or benefited from the tampering of the entry process or the operation of the Campaign or act in violation of the rules and regulations of this Campaign or the terms and conditions stated herein. 20. The cash prizes are non-transferable to any third party, non-negotiable and non-exchangeable for other items. KIBB shall have the right and discretion to add and / or remove and / or to substitute the cash prize(s) with any other item(s), or service of similar value without prior notice. 21. The clients shall be responsible for any costs whatsoever incurred in connection with the cash prizes and BPoints, including but not limited to transportation from the supplier office, any other third party costs (commission, ownership transfer, tax, etc), and all other personal expenses, if any. 22. The clients shall be responsible to pay any taxes (including but not limited to goods and services tax ( GST ), incidental cost and/or any other charges relating to any of the prizes unless stated otherwise. KIBB shall not be held liable for any taxes (including but not limited to GST), incidental cost, charges and/or damage caused by any of the prizes and/or non-fulfilment by the supplier. KIBB reserves the sole and absolute right and exclusive discretion to change, vary and/or amend any aspect of the Campaign (including cancelling 3

4 or discontinuing the Campaign inclusive of cash prizes) or any part of these terms and conditions without prior notice and/or reference to any participants. Miscellaneous 23. Participation in this Campaign shall be deemed acceptance by the participant of the terms and conditions herein and consent for his/her personal data being collected, processed and used by KIBB in accordance with Kenanga Group Personal Data Protection Notice (which is available at or for the purposes of this Campgin to be used, displayed and published by KIBB s social media, paid and free television programs, radio channels, print collaterals, online advertisement and direct marketing at its sole and absolute discretion, for advertising and publicity purposes. 24. By participating in this Campaign, all participants hereby expressly irrevocably consent and authorize KIBB to disclose any information that the participants have provided to KIBB for the purpose of cross selling, marketing and promotions, with other companies within the KIBB Group of Companies, its agents, sponsors and/or such persons or third parties as KIBB may deem fit. 25. KIBB shall not be held liable and/or responsible for any loss, damage or any other form of liability in whatsoever nature and howsoever arising or suffered by any participant resulting directly or indirectly from participating in this Campaign or resulting from the acceptance, possession, use/misuse of the prizes in this Campaign. 26. KIBB shall not be held liable for any default of its obligations under this Campaign due to any force majeure event which include but not limited to act of God, war, riot, lockout, industrial, action, fire, flood, drought, storm or any event beyond the reasonable control of KIBB. 27. This Campaign shall be governed by the Laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia. 28. All applicable local laws and regulations apply to this Campaign. 4
