1 TERMS & CONDITIONS HSBC Amanah Minions Credit Card-i Acquisition 2015 Promotion (Minions 2015) ( Promotion ) 1. HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad (Company No X) will be referred to as HSBC Amanah, referred to as HSBC Amanah. THE PROMOTION PERIOD 2. The Promotion comprises of the following periods:- a. Sign-Up Period is defined as the period when the customer applies for a primary/supplementary Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Cards-i through HSBC Amanah s mobile sales team/branch/telesales channel/website. Sign-up Period runs from 18 th May 2015 to 30 th June 2015, both dates inclusive ( Sign-Up Period ); and b. Spend Activation Period is defined as the 45 days from the date of the welcome letter ( Spend Activation Period ); ELIGIBILITY (hereinafter collectively referred to as the Promotion Period ). 3. The Promotion is open to the following:- i. New-to-HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i ( New ); ii. Existing-to-HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i who currently holds an existing HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i ( Existing ); iii. New-to HSBC Amanah and existing-to HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i Supplementary who currently holds an existing HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i ( Supplementary ); Who is a Malaysian resident who, during the Promotion Period, applies for any one or more of the following primary/supplementary HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i(s): a. HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i(s): HSBC Premier World MasterCard Credit Card-i, HSBC Amanah Advance Visa Platinum Credit Card-i, HSBC Amanah MPower Visa Platinum Credit Card-i, HSBC Amanah MPower Visa Credit Card-i issued by HSBC Amanah; (hereinafter referred to as the Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Cards-i ) And excludes the following categories of persons who are not eligible to participate in the Promotion: a. s(s) who have cancelled his/her HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i(s) within three (3) months before the date of application and is applying or re-applying for any Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Cards-i under the Promotion; b. (s) who applied for an HSBC Amanah Credit Cards-i in the past 6-months; c. (s) who have participated or are participating in any other concurrent credit card-i sign-up promotions by HSBC Amanah; d. Holder(s) of HSBC Amanah Credit Cards-i that are not issued in Malaysia; and/or e. Holder(s) of invalid or cancelled HSBC Amanah Credit Cards-i and/or whose accounts are delinquent within HSBC Amanah s definition at any time during the Promotion Period; and/or f. Holder(s) of company and/or corporate HSBC Amanah Credit Cards-i, (hereinafter collectively referred to as the Eligible s ). PARTICIPATION CRITERIA 4. Eligible s must during the Promotion Period:- a. Apply for any Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i through HSBC Amanah s mobile sales team/branch/telesales channel/website; b. Activate his/her Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i after receiving the newly approved card; and c. Use the Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i on Eligible Spend as per Clause 6 below (after activating it).

2 THE OFFERS AND FULFILMENT CONDITIONS 5. The Promotion offer is as below: TABLE 1: LIST OF OFFERS Eligible Offer Criteria 1x unit of RM150 Eligible Spend of RM1,500 for Cash Advance/Retail spend/or BT/CIP Maximum Units 4,750 New ( Category 1 ) 1x unit of Huawei Tablet with Limited Edition Minions Case OR Eligible Spend of RM5,000 for Cash Advance/Retail spend only 1,500 Existing ( Category 2 ) 1x unit of RM75 Eligible Spend of RM1,500 for Cash Advance/Retail spend/or BT/CIP 1,900 Supplementary 1x unit of RM50 Eligible Spend of RM500 for Cash Advance/Retail spend during the Spend Activation Period 1,300 i. RM150 for Category 1 s ( RM150 ) a. The Category 1 stands to receive RM150 when he/she uses his/her primary Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i to meet the Criteria in Table 1 above whether made in a single receipt or accumulated receipts within 45 days from the date of the welcome letter ( Spend Activation Period ). b. Each Category 1 is entitled to receive only One (1) unit of RM150 throughout the Promotion Period is on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. For avoidance of doubt, if the Category 1 applies for two (2) primary Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i and satisfies the respective criteria in Clause 3, 4 & 6 for both cards, the Category 1 will only be entitled to one (1) item, either one (1) unit of RM150 Cash Back or one (1) Gift depending on the highest Eligible Spend, as per Clause 7. c. The RM150 will be credited into the Category 1 s Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i account within one hundred and twenty (120) days after the end of the Promotion Period and this will be reflected in the Eligible s credit card-i statement in the following month. For avoidance of doubt, the will be credited to the Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i that met the Spend Criteria. d. The maximum number of units of RM150 to be given out under this Promotion is listed in Table 1 above. ii. Huawei Tablet with Limited Edition Minions Case for Category 1 s ( Gift ) a. The Category 1 stands to receive a Gift when he/she uses his/her primary Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i to meet the Criteria in Table 1 above whether made in a single receipt or accumulated receipts within 45 days from the date of the welcome letter ( Spend Activation Period ). Once the Category 1 meets the Eligible Spend of RM5,000 for the Gift, he/she will not be considered for the RM150. b. Each Category 1 is entitled to receive only one (1) Gift throughout the Promotion Period on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. For avoidance of doubt, if the Category 1 applies for two (2) primary Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i and satisfies the respective criteria in Clause 3, 4 & 6 on both cards, the Category 1 will

3 only be entitled to one (1) Gift or one (1) unit of RM150 depending on the highest Eligible Spend, as per Clause 7. c. The Gift will be delivered to the Category 1 s correspondence address in Malaysia ONLY, as maintained in HSBC Amanah s records, by batches within one hundred and twenty (120) days after the end of the Promotion Period. In the event the Category 1 s address differs from HSBC Amanah s records, the Category 1 is required to officially write in and notify HSBC Amanah of the change in delivery address. The maximum number of Gifts to be given out under this Promotion is listed in Table 1 above. iii. iv. RM75 for Category 2 s ( RM75 ) a. The Category 2 stands to receive RM75 when he/she uses his/her newly approved primary Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i to meet the Criteria in Table 1 above whether made in a single receipt or accumulated receipts within 45 days from the date of the welcome letter ( Spend Activation Period ). b. Each Category 2 is entitled to receive only ONE (1) unit of RM75 throughout the Promotion Period on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. For avoidance of doubt, if the Category 2 applies for two (2) primary Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i and satisfies the respective criteria in Clause 3, 4 & 6 for both cards, the Category 2 will only be entitled to one (1) unit of RM75. c. The RM75 will be credited into the Category 2 s Participating HSBC Amanah Credit-i account within one hundred and twenty (120) days after the end of the Promotion Period and this will be reflected in the Eligible s credit card-i statement in the following month. For avoidance of doubt, the will be fulfilled to the Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i that met the Spend Criteria. d. The maximum number of units of RM75 to be given out under this Promotion is listed in Table 1 above. RM50 for Supplementary s ( RM50 ) a. Supplementary s stand to receive RM50 when they use their supplementary Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i to meet the Criteria in Table 1 above whether made in a single receipt or accumulated receipts within 45 days from the date of the welcome letter ( Spend Activation Period ). b. Each Supplementary is entitled to receive ONE (1) unit of RM50, capped at a maximum of RM50 per Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i, on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. c. The RM50 will be credited into the Eligible s primary Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i account (where the supplementary credit card-i that met the Spend Criteria is issued under) within one hundred and twenty (120) days after the end of the Promotion Period and this will be reflected in the Eligible s credit card statement in the following month. d. The maximum number of units of RM50 to be given out under this Promotion is listed in Table 1 above. 6. Eligible Spend for the Promotion are those that are charged to the Eligible s Participating Amanah Credit Cards-i during the Spend Activation Period subject to Clauses 3, 4 & 5 above; and For RM150 and RM75 spend (a) Includes: 0% instalment plans, Balance Transfer ( BT ), Cash Instalment Plan ( CIP ), Internet transactions, local and overseas retail transactions, Cash Advance, standing instructions/auto-billing; and (b) Excludes: management fees, credit card-i annual fee and goods and services tax For RM50 and Gift spend: (a) Includes: 0% instalment plans, Internet transactions, local and overseas retail transactions, Cash Advance, standing instructions/auto-billing; and (b) Excludes: Balance Transfer ( BT ), Cash Instalment Plan ( CIP ),management fees, credit card-i annual fee and goods and services tax ;

4 (hereinafter collectively referred to as the Eligible Spend ). 7. In the event that Category 1 applies for two (2) Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Cards-i, Eligible is only entitled one (1) unit of RM150 or one (1) unit of Gift even if the Spend Criteria on both Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Cards-i have been met. The item awarded to the Eligible will depend on the highest Eligible Spend on the two Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Cards-i that was applied for and approved under this Promotion. For avoidance of doubt, Eligible Spend is calculated per Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i, and will not be consolidated with the spend on any other Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i. 8. The tracking of the Eligible Spend is based on transaction dates (Malaysian Time). In meeting the Criteria for Eligible Spend in the Spend Activation Period, all the Eligible s spend are grouped equally into 4 blocks of 45 days each; and first come, first served basis refers to Eligible s who achieved the Criteria first within the same 45 day bracket. For avoidance of doubt, the first Eligible who achieved the accumulated spend within the 45 day bracket will be ranked first. Example, Eligible A accumulated spend on the 15 th day of his 45 day bracket and Eligible B accumulated spend on 8 th day of her 45 day bracket. The Eligible who will be ranked first is Eligible B followed by Eligible A. 9. Eligible s who qualify for Spend and apply for Balance Transfer/Cash Instalment Plan ( BT/CIP ) to qualify for the Welcome Offer and settles the BT/CIP early before the maturity of the tenure will be disqualified from this Promotion. 10. The maximum units of and Gift to be given out under this Promotion are pooled together with HSBC Minions Acquisition 2015 Promotion (Minions 2015) and clearly listed in Table 1 above. HSBC Bank is the sole provider for all the and Gift under this promotion. 11. For avoidance of doubt on the Promotion Offers, listed below are examples:- Example Scenario Qualified New Example (1) Huawei Tablet with Limited Edition Minions Case Offer Eligible applies for a primary HSBC Amanah MPower Visa Platinum Credit Card-i on 9th May 2015 and the application is approved on 20th May The Eligible receives the card on 23 rd May 2015 with the welcome letter dated 20th May Spend Activation Period (RM5,000 Spend was made in same month and was made within 45 days of welcome letter) The Category 1 activates the newly approved card and spends RM5,000 (accumulated/ single receipts) on Eligible Spend on 30th May The Eligible will stand to qualify for (subject to first come first served as per Clause 5 above) : I. 1x unit of Huawei Tablet with Minions ( Gift ) New Example (2) Huawei Tablet with Limited Edition Minions Case Offer Eligible applies for a primary HSBC Amanah MPower Visa Platinum Credit Card-i on 19th May 2015 and the application is approved on 29th May The Eligible receives the card on 5 th June 2015 with the welcome letter dated 29th May Spend Activation Period (RM5,000 Balance Transfer was made in same month and was made within 45 days of welcome letter) The Category 1 Eligible Spend consist of Balance Transfer of RM5,000 on 10 th June The Eligible will not be qualified for Huawei Tablet with Limited Edition Minions Case offer. Reason: Balance Transfer is not part of Eligible Spend for Gift. New Example (3) Huawei Tablet with Limited Edition Minions Case Offer Eligible applies for a primary HSBC Amanah MPower Visa Platinum Credit Card-i on 10th May 2015 and the application is approved on 20th May The Eligible receives the card on 25 th May 2015 with the welcome letter dated 20th May Spend Activation Period (Total of RM7,000 Spend and Balance Transfer was made in same month and was made within 45 days of welcome letter) The Category 1 Eligible Spend consist of Retail Spend of RM5,000 and Balance Transfer of RM2,000 within 45 days of welcome letter. The Eligible will be qualified for Huawei Tablet with Limited Edition Minions Case offer (Subject to first come, first served basis) Reason: Retail Spend of RM5,000 within 45 days of welcome letter meet the Eligible Spend criteria.

5 New Example (4) RM150 Offer Sign Up Period Eligible applies for a primary HSBC Amanah MPower Visa Platinum Credit Card-i on 9 th May 2015 and the application is approved on 20 th May The Eligible receives the card on 23 rd May 2015 with the welcome letter dated 20th May Spend Activation Period (Eligible did not meet the RM1,500 Spend within 45 days of welcome letter) The Category 1 activates the newly approved card and spends RM1,000 (accumulated/single receipts) on Eligible Spend on 30 th May 2015 and balance RM500 (accumulated/single receipts) on 2 nd July The Eligible is not entitled for any Cash Back Existing Example (5) RM75 Cash Back Offer Eligible applies for a primary HSBC Amanah MPower Visa Platinum Credit Card-i on 9th May 2015 and the application is approved on 20th May The Eligible receives the card on 23 rd May 2015 with the welcome letter dated 20th May Spend Activation Period (RM1,500 Spend was made in same month and was made within 45 days of welcome letter) The Category 2 activates the newly approved card and spends RM1,500 (accumulated/ single receipts) on Eligible Spend on 30th May The Eligible will stand to qualify for (subject to first come first served as per Clause 5 above): i. RM75 HUAWEI TABLET WITH LIMITED EDITION MINIONS CASE - TERMS & CONDITIONS 12. At the time of fulfillment of Gift, the Category 1 s Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i account(s) MUST NOT be delinquent, and/or invalid or cancelled within HSBC Amanah s definition, otherwise they will be disqualified from participating or receiving the Gift under this Promotion. 13. The Gift is provided on an As Is basis and on a first come, first served basis. HSBC Amanah reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to provide any color that is available. 14. The Gift cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. 15. The Gift will not be sent to an address other than the Category 1 s correspondence address maintained in HSBC Amanah s records or to an address outside of Malaysia, nor can the Gift be collected from any HSBC Amanah branch. 16. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HSBC Amanah expressly excludes and disclaims any representations, warranties, or endorsements, express or implied, written or oral, including but not limited to, any warranty of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose in respect of the Gift. 17. Any loss or damage or risk thereof to the Gift is passed on to the Category 1 on delivery of the same to the Eligible. 18. The Gift comes with a one-year warranty from the manufacturer and the warranty details and term & conditions shall be included in the packaging. 19. The Gift as shown in any marketing or promotional collaterals or on HSBC Amanah websites are for illustration purposes only. 20. HSBC Amanah is not in any way endorsing, sanctioning, approving or supporting the use of the brand or the product. 21. HSBC Amanah reserves the right to substitute the Gift with any other item of similar value at any time with 3 days prior notice. CASH BACK TERMS & CONDITIONS 22. At the time of crediting the primary Eligible s Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i account with the, all the Participating HSBC Amanah Credit Card-i account(s) of the Eligible s MUST NOT be delinquent, and/or blacklisted, invalid or cancelled within HSBC Amanah s definition, otherwise they will be disqualified from participating or receiving the from this Promotion. 23. HSBC Amanah will not entertain any request from any Eligible s or any other person to credit the to the Eligible s other or any third party s account. 24. HSBC Amanah reserves the right to substitute the with any other item of similar value at any time with 3 days prior notice. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

HSBC Amanah reserve the right to publish or display the name, picture and city of residence of the Eligible s who have been selected to receive the or Gift for this Promotion for advertising and publicity purposes. By participating in this Promotion, the selected Eligible s hereby consent to and agree that HSBC Amanah shall be at liberty to publish their names, pictures and city of residence without compensation for advertising and publicity purposes. 26. HSBC Amanah shall not be held liable for any mishaps, injuries or accidents that may occur in the usage of the or Gift received under this Promotion. 27. HSBC Amanah reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms & Conditions with 3 days prior notice. The Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time, shall prevail over any provisions or representations contained in any other promotional materials advertising this Promotion. 28. HSBC Amanah may use any of the following modes to communicate notices in relation to this Promotion to the Eligible : a. individual notice to the Eligible (whether by written notice or via electronic means) sent to the Eligible s latest address/ address as maintained in the HSBC Amanah s records; b. press advertisements; c. notice in the Eligible s credit card-i statement(s); d. display at its business premises; or e. notice on HSBC Amanah s internet website(s); where such notices shall be deemed to be effective on and from the 4th day after its delivery/publication/display as per the manner described herein. Save and except notices sent via ordinary mail which will be deemed delivered on the 3rd day after posting, notices sent via other modes as described herein are deemed delivered immediately after posting/publication/display. 29. These Terms and Conditions are in addition to the respective Universal Terms and Conditions ( UTCs ) for HSBC Amanah of which the respective Agreements are a part of and which regulate the provision of credit card-i facilities by HSBC Amanah, and also the Balance Transfer/Cash Instalment Plan terms and conditions. The UTCs and the Balance Transfer/Cash Instalment Plan terms and conditions are available at In the event of inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and the UTCs, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail insofar as they apply to this Promotion. 30. HSBC Amanah shall not be liable for any default due to any act of God, war, riot, strike, terrorism, epidemic, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm or any event beyond the reasonable control of HSBC Amanah. 31. HSBC Amanah reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this Promotion with 3 days prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by HSBC Amanah of this Promotion shall not entitle the Eligible to any claim or compensation against HSBC Amanah for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension. 32. HSBC Amanah shall only be liable for any loss or damage suffered or incurred as a direct result of HSBC Amanah s gross negligence and shall not be liable for any other loss or damage of any kind such as loss of income, profit, goodwill or indirect, incidental, exemplary, punitive, consequential or special loss or damage howsoever arising, whether or not HSBC Amanah have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage. 33. The Eligible shall be personally responsible for all taxes, rates, government fees or any other charges that may be levied against them under applicable laws, if any, in relation to this Promotion. 34. HSBC Amanah s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion including but not limited to the eligibility to participate, the selection of the recipients for the or Gift under this Promotion, and in case of any dispute, shall be final and binding on all Eligible s who participate in this Promotion and no correspondence will be entertained. 35. By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of HSBC Amanah.
