1 Country Date Valid From: Service Provided By: Spain 29 July 2013 V6 Europcar Additional Driver Policy The price per additional driver will be EUR VAT Per day, with a maximum charge of EUR VAT. There is no maximum number of additional drivers allowed per rental. See Age Requirements for restrictions on car groups. Age Requirements Minimum rental age is: 21yrs for car groups MCMR, EBMR, EDMR, ECMR, CCMR, CDMR, CDAR, CMMR, IDMR, IWMR, IVAR, IVMR, IWAR and SDMR. 25 years for ITMR, SDAR, SVMR, FVMR and PDMR. A Young Driver surcharge will be applicable to drivers aged between 21 to 25 years (inclusive) at a cost of EUR VAT per day, with a maximum charge of EUR VAT per rental. There is no maximum age limit (subject to the driving license expiration and license requirements). Condition of Vehicle Vehicle must be returned, normal wear & tear expected, in the same condition as when rented. If special cleaning is required a separate charge will be made directly to the customer Cross Border Policy Vehicles must not be driven on unauthorised or unpaved roads or for which the condition might suppose a risk of damage to the vehicle. Cross Border into Gibraltar is NOT permitted. Vehicles are permitted to be driven solely in peninsular Spain, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands as well as in the European continental part of the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and in the British Isles. Only the following vehicles may be used when driving into Italy, San Marino, Vatican City and the British Islands: MCMR, EBMR, EDMR, ECMR, CCMR, CDMR, IDMR and SDMR. No additional documents or insurance is required for cross border. The rental vehicle is not permitted to be taken on any type of boat, ship, train, lorry or aeroplane (unless prior written authorisation has been given by the Rental Company). It is not permitted to use the vehicle inside ports, airports and/or analogous or similar of a character not accessible to public traffic, or in refinery and oil company premises or installations without written authorisation from the Rental Company. Customer MUST advise the car will be driven out of Spain at the point of contract, in any case. Please be advised that the following areas in Germany: Berlin, Cologne and Hannover will require an 'Emissions Sticker' stating the emission of the vehicle intended to enter these areas. Without this sticker, the driver of the vehicle will be fined up to EUR even if the car is registered abroad. Should the car not have the 'Emissions Sticker', then this can be purchased at most garages. Please be advised that due to a change in law in Germany, it is mandatory for all vehicles crossing the border into Germany to have winter tyres fitted during the Snow & Icy conditions. Customers will be fined on the spot if they are stopped by police and found to not have the appropriate winter tyres.

2 Licence Requirements A valid driving licence that has been held for at least one year prior to the rental start date is required. The following are considered to be valid driving licences in Spain: - Those issued in accordance with Spanish legislation in force; - Those issued by Member States of the European Union in accordance with community legislation; - Those issued by other countries or of an international nature that have been recognised as valid for the purposes of driving in Spain. Additional identification may be requested at time of rental in addition to the driving licence. Acceptable additional identification would be ID of the Residence Country, a Passport or Residence Permit. In case the documents are not legible e.g. in Arabic, Cirilic etc a sworn statement of the international driving permit is required. One Way Rentals Domestic one ways are available for all locations situated within Continental Spain with a EUR tax drop charge for all cars and all lengths of rental. One ways between locations situated in the same province are free of charge. For the Canary Islands, one ways are allowed between locations situated in the same island free of charge. One ways are not allowed between Islands and Continental Spain or among Islands. For the Balearics, one ways are not allowed. One ways are to be pre-booked. International One Ways please refer to the IOWP grid for details. Car groups MCMR, EBMR, IWAR, SVMR and CDAR are not allowed for international one ways. Out of Hours Policy Out of hours reservations are charge at a cost of EUR VAT. After hours are on request only. Payment Policy All major Credit cards (VISA, AMEX, Master Card, Diners), Visa Electron, National Charge Cards and National Vouchers are accepted. Cash is also accepted for the following cars only: CCMR, CDMR, CMMR, MCMR, EBMR, ECMR and EDMR. Cash is accepted on all other cars but only as a secondary method of payment so a credit card must also be provided. Travellers Cheques and Eurocheques are not accepted. A deposit of EUR plus the total rental amount plus 5% is required at the beginning of the rental. The deposit must always be paid by credit card. Refuelling Policy Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as supplied at the beginning of the rental otherwise the customer will be charge for the missing fuel plus a refuelling charge of EUR vat per rental will apply. Roadside Assistance In the event of the rental vehicle being immobilized due to a mechanical breakdown, the renter must contact the Rental Company or the Breakdown Service Company used by the Rental Company, and only this Company. Full details will be provided to the customer at time of rental. A Breakdown Assistance Administration Charge of EUR tax per service will be payable where the Breakdown Assistance company has provided services during the rental period in order to attend to incidents which occur due to (i) error, negligence or misuse of the vehicle by the customer (ii) loss of

3 keys, breakage or locking them within the vehicle (iii) lack of fuel or refuelling with the incorrect fuel (iv) recovery of vehicles from places or routes which are not suitable for driving or are not paved (v) faulty installation of accessories in the vehicle by the customer (payable locally if applicable). Special Equipment Infant seat (CSI) = (suitable for 0-12 months or 0-13Kg) EUR per day plus tax, with a maximum of EUR tax per rental. Replacement amount is EUR vat. On Freesale. Child/Toddler seat (CST) = (suitable for 4-7 years or 15-30Kg) EUR per day plus tax, with a maximum of EUR tax per rental. Replacement amount is EUR vat. On Freesale. Booster Seat (BST) = (suitable for children less than 135cm) EUR 9.19 per day plus tax, with a maximum of EUR tax per rental. Replacement amount is EUR vat. On Freesale. Child seats CSB (suitable for 1-3 years or 9-18Kg) are also available at a cost of EUR per day plus tax, with a maximum of EUR tax per rental. Replacement amount is EUR vat. This child seat is not loaded in the system. If required, please add to the remarks on the reservation. Snow chains (SNO) = EUR per day plus tax, with a maximum charge of EUR tax per rental. Replacement amount is EUR vat. On Freesale. Luggage Rack Not Available Navigation System (GPS) in Mainland and Balearics Locations = EUR per day plus tax, with a maximum charge of EUR tax per rental. Replacement amount is EUR tax. On Freesale for all Mainland and Mallorca locations. On request for all Ibiza and Menorca locations. Navigation System (GPS) is not available at any locations in the Canary Islands. Pushchairs are available at a cost of EUR per day, with a maximum charge of EUR tax per rental. Replacement amount is EUR tax. Pushchairs are not loaded in the system. If required, please add to the remarks on the reservation. All equipments require 24 hours advance notice. Children under 3 years of age or less than 150cms must use a restraint system adapted to their weight and size. The age of the child must be provided at time of rental when hiring child seats. We provide one fluorescent jacket per rental as the law requires, non returned jackets are charged at EUR tax. Emergency Triangles are also provided - non returned triangles sets will be charged at EUR tax. Surcharges Airport surcharge - EUR tax per rental. Port Surcharge EUR tax per rental. Railway Surcharge EUR tax per rental applicable at all Railway Stations. A Damage Administration Fee of EUR tax will be charged in the event that the vehicle exhibits material damage caused during the rental. This charge will be payable for each incident which causes damage (payable locally if applicable). A Fines Fee of EUR tax will be charged for every bulletin or disciplinary proceeding instructed by the competent authority in relation to the rental vehicle and due to events occurring during the rental period (payable locally if applicable). This charge will not be applicable where the customer has taken out FAW insurance (see insurances for details). A charge of EUR tax will be charged if the vehicle is returned without its documentation (certified copy of the vehicles MOT certificate, certified

4 copy of the vehicle s log book and insurance policy). Payable locally if applicable. A Breakdown Assistance Administration Charge maybe payable please see Roadside Assistance Policy for details. Tax Sales Tax 21% (Canaries only 13.5%). Please note, sales tax is calculated by the drop off date (not pick up date). The tax will be re-calculated at the counter if applicable as the system can only charge this depending on the pick up date. Insurances & Waivers: CDW Collision Damage Waiver Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the renter s damage responsibility to the sum of the deductible as a result of a traffic accident (excluding those caused by acts of vandalism). An Accident Report must be correctly completed by the renter. The daily charge depends on length of rental. Please note, only the highest daily amount is loaded in the system - this will be corrected at the rental counter if applicable. 5 THW Theft Waiver Theft Waiver (THW) reduces the renter s responsibility to the sum of the deductible in the event of total or partial theft of the vehicle or damages caused to the vehicle for these reasons and/or due to acts of vandalism. The daily charge depends on length of rental. Please note, only the highest daily amount is loaded in the system - this will be corrected at the rental counter if applicable. Cover is limited to 50 million Euros. SLDW Super Loss Damage Waiver Super Loss Damage Waiver (SLDW) further reduces the renter s responsibility for CDW and THW to the sum of the deductible. CDW and THW must be purchased in addition to SLDW. The daily charge depends on length of rental.
