If you try to book a car with a Hertz Business+ CDP outside the participating car groups and countries, the GDS system will generate the error message - No rate qualifies. If you receive this message, start a new search either using your Hertz Business Lite CDP (giving you a discount off the best rate of the day) - or without a CDP Terms and Conditions 1. Hertz Business+ rates are only available on reservations made and picked up prior to 31/12/ Rates for reservations made prior to 31/12/2016 but with pick-up after that date will be subject to change with rate changes subsequently amended to the 01/01/ /06/2017 rates. Customers quoting such a rate must be informed that these rates are subject to change and will be amended once the new rates are available. They will also be able to cancel without charge once the new rate is provided. 3. Hertz reserves the right to change or withdraw Hertz Business+ rates at any time on immediate notice. Any changes will not affect reservations already made as highlighted above. 4. Hertz requires a one hour notice period from booking to pick up, subject to vehicle availability. 5. Hertz Business+ rates may be used only in respect of the specified vehicle groups and is subject to availability. 6. Hertz standard terms and conditions apply. 7. Hertz agrees to pay commission at the rate of 15% on the Hertz Business+ rates. 8. Commission will be based on the rate booked (rate inclusions only) excluding tax. Commission will not be paid on any additional charges bought locally by the renter at time of rental. 6

7 USA Terms & Conditions Participating Locations: Hertz corporate locations Rental Qualifications: The minimum rental age is 20 years in all states except for New York and Michigan, where the minimum rental age is 18. Renters aged between will be subject to an age differential of $20 per day for car classes A-G and $30 per day for all other car classes except Hertz Prestige Collection Vehicles. Renters aged renting in the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont will be subject to an age differential of $25 per day for car classes A-F and $35 per day for all other car classes. Renters aged will be subject to an age differential of $35 per day in Michigan and New York for car classes A-F only and $45 per day for all other car classes. Renters aged will be subject to an age differential of $52 per day in Michigan and New York for car classes A-F only. The minimum age for additional authorized operators is the same as noted above for the authorized operator. Renters, including additional authorized operators, must present a valid national driver's license (see important information below), a return airline ticket and the voucher (except voucher-less programs). A credit card in the renter's name or a minimum cash deposit of $200 or 150% of the estimated rental charges is required, whichever is greater. Driving License: UK residents renting in the US are required to have both parts of the photo-card license: the plastic photo-card displaying your photograph and signature as well as the accompanying paper document. Renters must present a valid driving license. If the driving license is not in English, then an International Driving Permit (IDP) is strongly recommended. Be advised that certain locations and car classes require two (2) forms of identification as a condition to rent. Please advise customers to check at time of reservation if special conditions pertain to their particular rental. Please note: Rates are non-discountable and may be increased in jurisdictions that during the period covered by this agreement change the tax rate. 7

8 USA Terms & Conditions Continued Reservations Hertz require a minimum 4-hour notice period from booking to pick up, either by telephone or by automated system (GDS). NeverLost reservations require a 24-hour notice period. These reservations will automatically be confirmed by car class only. Vehicle Availability Hertz reserves the right, at its own discretion, to control vehicle availability in any location. As a result, car classes may not be available in all locations at all times. Drop & Intercity Policy All one-way rentals within the continental USA will be subject to the drop off charges listed here, subject to applicable taxes and surcharges. All charges are payable by the renter at the rental counter and will be held against the renter s credit card but will not be charged to the credit card until completion of the rental. 9 USA Terms & Conditions Continued Drop and Intercity Policy Exceptions Please note: The following Drop and Intercity Policy applies when picking-up at Corporate locations only: - Car Class A must be returned to the renting city (the renting city is not the same as geographical city) unless otherwise noted below - No drop charge for Car Classes B, C, D, F, G, I and R, picked-up at any continental US airport locations and dropped into the city of Chicago - No drop charge for Car Classes B, C, D, F, G, I and R between JFK Airport (JFK), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and EWR - One-way rentals are not permitted to/from Nantucket or Martha s Vineyard - One-way rentals within the same city may cause a drop off charge, please check at time of reservation Within Florida: No drop charge for Car Classes B, C, D, F, G, I, and R picked up and returned within the State of Florida. Within California: No drop charge for Car Classes B, C, D, F, G, I, and R picked up and returned within the State of California. Within Hawaii: A drop charge of $35 will apply for Car Classes B, C, D, F, G, I, and R returned outside of the renting city. All other car classes must be returned to the renting city. There are no drop charges for rentals picked up and returned within Waikiki locations. Within Alaska: Car classes B, C, D, F, and R may intercity from June 1 - September 30. Rentals returned outside of the renting city will be subject to a drop charge of $150. One-way rentals are not permitted to/from Alaska. In the State of Alaska, vehicles may not be driven on poorly maintained, unpaved roads. These include, but are not limited to: The Dalton, Steese, Dempster, Elliott, Denali & Taylor Highways. In case of violation, customers are responsible for all damage and for the cost of returning the vehicle to the rental location. Driving in Mexico is not permitted without special insurance coverage. Check for availability at time of rent. Driving restrictions may apply. Please check rental agreement for details. Liability Primary third party liability insurance coverage equal to the applicable state minimum limits is included. When renting on LIS-inclusive program, liability coverage is increased up to $1,000, (combined). Optional Equipment Availability and costs for optional equipment such as child seats*, mobile phones, NeverLost, Ski Racks varies by location. Please check at time of reservation for applicable fees and availability. *Hertz voluntarily complies with any state law that requires a child seat for a rental 10

11 Mexico Terms & Conditions Rental age The minimum rental age is 21 in all locations in Mexico (an age differential fee of $11.00/day is included in the rate for renters aged between 21 24). Renters must present a valid national driver's license, a return airline ticket and the voucher. A credit card in the renter's name is mandatory. Additional authorized driver Additional authorized drivers must be registered in the rental agreement. The minimum rental age for additional authorized drivers is 21 years. A credit card in the name of the additional authorized driver is strongly recommended, but not mandatory. Minimum rental period One day. Reservations Reservations must be made outside Mexico and require the minimum notice period (highlighted in the table) for reservations made by: telephone, an automated system (CRS) or by a direct reservation link. Car Class Notice Period A6, B6, C and F 2 Hours L, G, R and T 48 Hours Freesell agreement Car Classes A6, B6, C, and F are on freesell. Freesell is not available for rentals during the December 17 December period. Vehicle availability Hertz reserves the right, at its own discretion, to control vehicle availability in any location. As a result, car classes may not be available in all locations at all times. Request reservations Some car classes are available on a request basis only. Please check at time of reservation. The response time for request reservations is 72 business hours from the time the reservation is requested. Confirmation of request vehicles may be denied based upon vehicle availability. 11

12 Mexico Terms & Conditions Continued Black out period December 14, January 06, 2017 Rental period Rental charges are applied on a 24-hour basis. Should the customer pick up their vehicle at 5:00pm, the weekly charge is in effect for seven (7) days and must be returned by 5:00pm on the seventh day. The customer will be granted 59 minutes of grace and then extra hours will be charged at the extra day charge. Optional coverage is charged at the full day rate even if the excess time is 59 minutes. Intercity policy One-way rentals are available throughout all participating locations in Mexico and are allowed on ALL car groups and will be charged at a rate of $0.50 per kilometer unless otherwise indicated here. Vehicles may be driven into the United State if the customer requests authorization and purchases a special liability insurance for the United States. If insurance is not taken, CDW is invalid in the United States. Cozumel intercity policy Customers wishing to intercity to Cozumel will be charged an intercity fee to Playa del Carmen, the ferry charge from Puerto Morelos to Cozumel (Puerto Morelos is located near Playa del Carmen; the customer is responsible for the ferry charge, which is to be paid at the dock) and an additional $10 intercity fee to Cozumel, plus any applicable tax. 12

13 Mexico Terms & Conditions Continued Upgrade/extension of Rentals Voluntary extension of rentals notified to Hertz at the time of rental will be charged locally, at the applicable rate. If a customer decides to upgrade at the time of rental, there will be a local rate applied. Deposit Cash deposits will not be accepted. The renter must present a valid credit card. The credit card must have minimum credit of $600. Vouchers The Travel Agent will be charged for the number of days printed on the voucher. If the client returns the vehicle early, the travel agent will be charged at the full value of the voucher. Exceptions, such as medical emergencies will be handled by Customer Relations post rental. Clients renting for longer than the voucher value will be charged at applicable rates at the time of rental. Upgrades will be charged at locally applicable rates. Voucher Validity Vouchers are valid for a period of up to 30 days only. The customer will need additional vouchers for each 30-day rental period. The renter will be required to go to the Hertz location to renew the contract every 30 days. Other Terms and Conditions Rates are non-discountable and may be increased in jurisdictions that during the period covered by these rates change their laws to prohibit the offering of optional services or to impose requirements that increase Hertz' cost of doing business. The renter is responsible for I.V.A. (sales tax), other applicable taxes, tax reimbursement, surcharges (whether imposed by the government or Hertz), airport fees or similar charges as well as CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), optional refueling, PAI (Personal Accident Insurance) and any other Hertz service or item charges, unless stated as being included in the quoted rates. 13

14 Mexico Terms & Conditions Continued Third Party Liability Non-Resident renters receive third party liability - total coverage of $30,000 combined. Liability Insurance Supplement (LIS) LIS is available at all locations in Mexico for a rate of $13/day. Purchasing LIS increases liability coverage up to $100,000 (combined). Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) If a customer purchases PAI, the cover is up to $20,000 for all passengers, not per person in AVASA. PAI is available at all participating locations for an additional charge per day and is due for each full or partial rental day. Theft Protection Vehicles are covered for Theft Protection with a 10% deductible, regardless of whether the customer purchases CDW, PAI, etc. in AVASA locations. Loss Damage Waiver Deductible (LDW) LDW covers up to 100% of the damages and the customer is responsible for 0% of the commercial value of the vehicle. Negligence cancels any coverage bought by the customer and customer would be responsible for all damages. Roadside Assistance Assistance is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
