We are thrilled for the opportunity to serve you! This booklet contains important information to help assist in our sincere endeavor to make the merger of our organizations as seamless as possible. It provides insight into what to expect from the conversion to a new banking system, how your accounts will be impacted, and what exciting new products and services will be available to you. In addition, it will outline the schedule for services availability as we handle the complex task of successfully managing the conversion. 5 Page 3 What You Need to Do Plan Ahead: The final step of the merger process involves system upgrades which will occur during merger weekend beginning Thursday, September 29. Here are a few things to consider before and after the merger. Before: It is important that you are aware of the system upgrade and any impact it may have on your banking needs. We want this transition to be as smooth as possible for all our members and are providing you with a detailed guide of what you can expect during and after the system upgrade. Please ensure you have sufficient cash on hand. If you need more cash than normal for the weekend, we strongly urge you to withdraw more on or before 1:00 pm on Friday, September 30. Online Banking will be unavailable starting Thursday, September 29 at 5:00 pm until the early morning hours of Sunday, October 2. After You can activate your new Power Financial Visa Debit Card starting at 9:00 pm on Saturday, October 1. Enroll in the new Online Banking system. Online Banking will be back up on Sunday, October 2. Access your Online Banking at powerfi.org. Enroll in the Simon Says Audio Response System. Go green and save on paper storage space by receiving electronic statements. Please register within Online Banking. Important Notice: If you have pre-authorized or recurring debit card transactions (gym, insurance, etc.) scheduled with your Ryder System FCU Debit Card, you will need to advise the merchants of your new Power Financial Debit Card number and expiration date. Special Note: In August, you may have received an ATM/Debit Card in the mail as well as a letter to inform you that this card cannot be activated and should be discarded. The new Power Financial Card was sent to you in September and can be activated after 9:00 pm on Saturday, October 1.
6 Page 4 When it Happens Thursday, September 29 - Monday, October 3 To facilitate the system upgrade integration, the Ryder System FCU branch will close at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 30. Additionally, all Ryder System FCU online services will be unavailable beginning at 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 29. Activate your new Power Financial Visa Debit Card after 9:00 pm on Saturday, October 1 by calling Visa Debit Card limits will be modified during system upgrade weekend. Please contact us with any questions at: Miami-Dade Broward All Other Areas Ryder System FCU Visa Credit Cards will continue to function normally with no interruptions. 8 Page 6 What You Need to Know Member Number Your member number will change. Your new 9 digit member number is included in this mailing. Accounts Your Account Number(s) will be changed to Power Financial Account Number(s). In addition, your routing number will be This is the Power Financial routing number. Please make sure you use the new routing number for all electronic transactions starting Saturday, October 1. Note: You do not need to do anything with currently scheduled electronic ACH transactions. They will continue to process normally. Share Suffix All of the accounts you have will be represented by your account number followed by a 2 digit suffix. Check Ordering Please continue to use your current inventory of Ryder System FCU checks as they are still good. When it is time for you to reorder new checks, log into online banking to place your new order. At this reorder, you will be issued new Power Financial checks printed with your new checking account number and Power Financial s routing number ( ). Share Certificates Your Share Certificate account will be assigned to your new member number and will appear in Online Banking on your new October 2016-dated Power Financial statement. Your rate and term will not change. Loans Your existing loan will be assigned to your new member number, which will appear in Online Banking and on your new October 2016-dated Power Financial Credit Union statement. Any payments you make using your old loan number will be applied correctly using a system lookup you do not need to do anything. If you would like to apply for personal loans, automobile loans, or a Visa Credit Card you may do so on powerfi.org, at any of our locations or by calling
9 Page 7 What You Need to Know Debit & Credit Cards Debit Cards: You will be receiving a new Power Financial Debit Card in the mail prior to Saturday, October 1. It will have a new number and expiration date. This card can be activated any time after Saturday, October 1 at 9:00 pm. To activate your new card call Please confirm your home number on file with Ryder System FCU by September 29 at 5:00 pm. If you have pre-authorized or recurring debit card transactions (gym, insurance, etc) scheduled with your Ryder System FCU Debit Card, you will need to advise those merchants of your new card number and expiration date. Credit Cards: Your credit card number will not be impacted by the system upgrade. Statements: You will receive your first statement with Power Financial for the month of October Your paper statement will change to the Power Financial Credit Union format. Please review How to Read Your Statement on page 14. Bill Pay Your bill pay payees, scheduled transactions, ebills and history will automatically transfer over to the Power Financial online banking system. Simon Says (Bilingual Audio Response System) You will need to enter your member information in the Simon Says system to have access to this audio banking system. On the first use, you need to set up a PIN of your choice. Call Center You now have access to an in-house dedicated team of Call Center Representatives available to assist you with your financial inquiries. Our Call Center team strives to provide unparalleled member service and is committed to being knowledgeable and trustworthy. Account Alerts The Power Financial Online Banking System offers you the ability to set up Account Alerts delivered via text messages and . These alerts can include information about balances, transactions, loan due dates, general reminders and more. estatements: You will now have access to enroll in estatements. You can easily access account statements through your online banking account immediately after they re released. You will begin to build access to a 24-month history of statements. Shared Branching What is Shared Branching? Shared Branching is a national network of credit unions that provides members thousands of convenient locations at which to perform transactions just as if they were at their home credit union (i.e. withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan payments, etc). How to use Shared Branching Visit powerfi.org/locations for information about Shared Branching and to find your nearest participating shared branches and ATMs. To service your account at the shared branch, you will need to let them know you are with Power Financial Credit Union, then provide them with your new member number and a photo ID.

17 Page 15 How to read your Statement All checks cleared for current period will be summarized here This a summary of fees for current statement period and year to date This is a summary of all Bill Pays paid from Power Financial s Bill Payment Each loan type is identified by a two digit number and loan description. Loans will always appear after the deposit accounts Summary of APR. YTD Finance charges for the particular loan. Total payments, Past Due and Due Date Your loan payment equals the sum of these two amounts Total loan payment Interest paid on all loans Total year-to-date dividends paid this year excluding IRAs Penalties you paid for any early withdrawal from Certificate
18 Page 16 Online Banking Online Banking System You will now be part of the Power Financial Online Banking system and will need to enroll to access your accounts. The Online Banking login is found on the homepage of the Power Financial website at powerfi.org. As of 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 29, you will no longer have access to your Ryder System FCU Online Banking system. Initial Login Step 1: Enter Initial Credentials Begin by entering your new account number in the username field. In the password field, insert the last four digits of the primary account holder s social security number.* Step 2: Create Username and Password You will be prompted to create a username and password. Step 3: Bill Pay Enrollment You may enroll in Bill Pay through combined enrollment and must accept all terms and conditions. Important Notice: If you have already registered for Simon Says, your password is already set to the five-digit PIN you selected.
19 Page 17 Online Banking Step 4: Complete Sign Up Once you have completed the registration process, you will see a success message and should click the Confirm contact information button to continue. We employ security measures with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) within Online Banking. MFA is just one more way to prevent fraud, protect against identity theft, and strengthen your online security as a whole. Multi-Factor Authentication identifies you as a true owner of your accounts. Not only will your username and password be recognized, your computer will be recognized as well. Step 5: Verify MFA Details Upon a successful registration, up to two phone numbers will be retrieved from the host and will be listed as the user s Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) numbers. These numbers will then be used for authenticating any future unrecognized devices. If you choose to have your verification code sent to you via text message, you must have the short code feature enabled with your cell phone provider. A short code (also known as short number) refers to a text message received from a number shorter than a standard telephone number. The text will be sent from number
20 Page 18 Online Banking Step 6: Enter Verification Code Codes expire after 10 minutes and consist of 6 random digits. Step 7: Register the Computer If you are using a personal computer, you may register it (by clicking on Yes, this is a private computer ) to avoid getting the MFA challenge screen each time you log in. If you are using a public computer, please choose No, this is a public computer for your safety. Either option will allow you to access Online Banking.
