1 Office of the County Clerk County of Canadian State of Oklahoma Board of County Commissioners Meeting December 29, 2014 Notice of the meeting and agenda were posted at 12:30pm on December 23, 2014 at the Canadian County Courthouse, 201 N. Choctaw Ave., El Reno, OK 73036, according to the provisions of 25 O.S The Canadian County Board of County Commissioners met at 9:00am in the Public Meeting Room. Those members present were Commissioner David Anderson, Commissioner Phil Carson and Commissioner Jack Stewart. Agenda item #1: Chairman Carson called the meeting to order. Agenda item #2: Under comments from the public, Commissioner-elect Marc Hader thanked Commissioner Carson for his years of service. Agenda item #3: Anderson moved, seconded by Carson to award the Six Months Bids for the period January 1, 2015 through June 30, 2015 with the exception to reject all bids for asphalt hauled and in place. Details of the award include: The Board rejected the asphalt bids due to declining oil prices. Hauling of rock end dump was awarded to Breshears Trucking Hauling of rip rap was awarded to Brown Transportation Cold lay asphalt was awarded to Logan County Asphalt Road rock was awarded to Dolese except for the ¾ crusher run Processed gyp was awarded to Diamond Gypsum Written recommendation for these awards are on file with the Six Month Bid. Upon roll call: Carson, yes; Stewart, yes; Anderson, yes. The motion passed 3-0. (Clerk's Misc. File No ) Agenda item #4: Carson moved, seconded by Anderson to approve the written notice from Matt Wehmuller, Canadian County Assessor to decline the return of computers that were transferred to the City of El Reno on behalf of the El Reno Carnegie Library on February 4, Upon roll call: Carson, yes; Stewart, yes; Anderson, yes. The motion passed 3-0. (Clerk's Misc. File No ) Agenda item #5: The engineering consultant was not present to discuss engineering and funding on roads and bridges in the districts. Agenda item #6: Undersheriff Chris West reported there were 192 inmates in the county jail and 5 inmates in the Dewey County jail.
