ISPOR Meeting Minutes/Discussin Summary 3 Presentatin n ISPOR Gvernance Initiatives Infrmatin n ISPOR gvernance is relevant t thse in ISPOR Chapter leadership rles. In 2015 ISPOR Bard recgnized the need t review the Sciety s gvernance structure in rder t: Streamline decisin-making, allw fr glbal cnsistency in the rganizatinal structure, as well as t fllw the U.S. laws and regulatins. Establish clear rles and respnsibilities n what vlunteers and staff d. Align all ISPOR grups with the visin, missin, and strategy f the Sciety. T prvide framewrk fr grwth, evlutin, and glbal cnsistency. Make sure that all vlunteer rles have high impact and prvide value t members, the Sciety, and the discipline f HEOR. Gvernance Initiatives is a multi-year initiative lking at structure, bylaws, plicies and prcedures, planning and relatinships: Christina Darnwski (Directr, ISPOR Gvernance and Executive Prjects), PPT is prvided Fllw up with Chapters leadership requesting feedback n new Chapters agreement and cnstitutin Christina Darnwski 2 f 5

Changes t ISPOR Chapter dcuments and develpment : Minimum f 10 full ISPOR members are required when a new Chapter is established All Chapter fficers are required t be ISPOR members ISPOR will wrk with Chapters in ecnmically challenged cuntries t prvide cmplimentary membership Fr newly established Chapters 60% f Chapters members are required t be full ISPOR members when a Chapter is established in a high-incme ecnmy Chapters are asked t infrm ISPOR when making recmmendatin n HEOR t fficial gvernment entities Chapters are t infrm ISPOR n develping cntractual relatinship with a gvernment entity r anther assciatin Chapters ntify ISPOR six weeks in advance if an event fr 250+ peple is planned clse t an ISPOR meeting Glbal Engagement Cuncil is in develpment this grup f advisrs will reprt t ISPOR Bard and be similar t HTA and Institutinal Cuncil.
