The July 4th party, which has been an annual event, is also tentatively cancelled unless someone can be found to chair the event. Communications Committee: Vacant (no chair) Update website data / create E-Grapevine Solicit help for newsletter publishing / distribution Community Liaison Committee: Jim Culross Continued growth of members / Regular monthly meetings Members will communicate with Mauldin Police & City Government to resolve homeowner issues such as speeding, community traffic signs, etc.
33 2007 Strategies What: Committee Growth Architectural Control Committee: Pat Anderson Train new volunteers to help expedite ACC process time Utilize website for ACC submittals **Send ACC submittals to Goldsmith Management Cathy will verify information & pass to ACC for approval Recreation Committee: Michael Robinson New Group of Lifeguards Create forum for homeowner input, feedback, follow-up Addition of some new furniture and signs for pool and tennis courts Welcome Wagon Committee: Vacant (no chair) The Welcome Wagon is tentatively on hold until more volunteers can be found. This committee needs more organization & volunteers to be a success. Timeline: 1-3Q07

36 2007 Strategies What: Community Rewards Program Upstate Mulch offers a community discount program which gives us a 30% discount off 40 cubic yards of mulch installed in the common areas. The program also provides a quarterly Upstate Mulch credit or a rebate check for 5% of all purchases made by homeowners in Planter s Row.
