Financial services we are authrised t prvide The Licensee has authrised us t prvide the fllwing financial services: prvide financial prduct advice n self-managed superannuatin funds ( SMSF ). prvide financial prduct advice n yur existing superannuatin prducts, but nly t the extent required fr: making a recmmendatin that yu establish a SMSF; r prviding advice t yu n cntributins r pensins under a superannuatin prduct. deal (issue, acquire, dispse) r arrange t deal in a SMSF. prvide class f prduct advice with respect t: superannuatin prducts; general insurance prducts; securities; simple managed investment schemes; life risk insurance prducts; and basic depsit prducts. Class f prduct advice allws us t cnsider yur persnal circumstances in determining the apprpriate class f financial prduct that is suitable t yu. Hwever it des nt allw us t recmmend any particular financial prduct. Adams Triglne is an authrised representative that is a partnership. Any persnal advice will be prvided by Adams Triglne and its advisers Gregry Thmas Adams and Judith Anne Cnstantine (wh are sub-authrised by Adams Triglne and prvide advice n behalf f the Licensee). 2 Hw can yu prvide us with instructins? Yu can give us instructins by phne, r any ther means that we agree with yu frm time t time. Please see ur engagement letter fr further infrmatin n this. Wh des the Licensee act fr? As authrised representatives, we prvide financial services n behalf f the Licensee. In prviding thse financial services, the Licensee acts n its wn behalf. The Licensee is independent, and is nt aligned with any prduct issuer r re-seller. Fees and charges Initial Adams Triglne will charge yu a fee fr the financial services we prvide t yu. That fee may either be a fixed fee r based n the amunt f hurs it takes us t prepare and prvide yu with the financial services. These fees will be included in the statement f advice ( SOA ) which will be prvided t yu. We d nt receive any cmmissins frm prduct issuers r re-sellers. Hwever, in sme circumstances, Adams Triglne may receive cmmissins frm Nrthhaven Financial Management Pty Ltd see belw fr mre details. Onging If yu enter int any nging service arrangement with us, Adams Triglne will charge yu a yearly fee. This will be disclsed in any SOA r recrd f advice ( ROA ) we prvide. Accunting Adams Triglne may charge yu additinal fees, which arise as a result f the implementatin f any advice we prvide yu. Fr example, audit r cmpliance fees in relatin t the SMSF that is established. These fees are nt related t the financial services we prvide yu, and will be set ut in the engagement letter yu enter int with Adams Triglne. Please cntact us if yu require any further infrmatin abut hw we are remunerated. Referrals by us Adams Triglne may refer yu t Nrthhaven Financial Management Pty Ltd, AFSL ( NFM ) if yu r yur SMSF require financial prduct advice r ther financial services that Adams Triglne is nt authrised t prvide. If yu btain advice r ther financial services thrugh NFM, Adams Triglne will receive a cmmissin. The amunt f the cmmissin will depend n the value f the fees yu pay t NFM fr their services. The amunt f these cmmissins will be included in the SOA which will be prvided t yu. Referrals t us Nrthhaven Financial Management Pty Ltd, AFSL ( NFM ) may refer its clients t Adams Triglne fr SMSF administratin and taxatin services. Adams Triglne will pay a cmmissin t NFM fr clients that are referred. The amunt f the cmmissin will depend n the value f the fees paid t Adams Triglne by clients that have been referred. 3 Dcuments yu may receive If we prvide yu with financial advice, we will prvide that advice t yu in a SOA. The SOA will cntain ur advice, the basis upn which we prvide the advice and specific infrmatin abut the remuneratin we receive. In sme circumstances, we may als recrd ur advice thrugh preparing a ROA instead f prviding yu with a SOA. If yu have nt been prvided with the ROA, yu may request a cpy f it free f charge at any time within 7 years after the advice was prvided t yu, by cntacting us. If we prvide yu with advice t establish a SMSF r cmmence a pensin r arrange fr thse services t be prvided t yu, we will ensure that yu are prvided with a prduct disclsure statement ( PDS ) unless we are satisfied that yu have already received r have access t all f the infrmatin that wuld have been cntained in the PDS. The PDS is issued by the SMSF trustee and is designed t prvide yu with infrmatin t make an infrmed decisin abut whether t acquire an interest in the SMSF. The PDS will include details abut the significant risks and benefits, csts, charges and ther significant characteristics r features f the SMSF. If yu enter int an nging arrangement with us, yu will receive a fee disclsure statement each year and a renewal ntice every tw years. Assciatins We are required t disclse any assciatins r relatinships between us, ur related entities, the Licensee and prduct issuers that culd reasnably be capable f influencing the financial services we prvide t yu. N such assciatins r relatinships exist. Cmplaints We are fully cmmitted t prviding quality financial services. Hwever if yu are unhappy with ur services, please cntact us and tell us abut yur cmplaint. If yur cmplaint is nt satisfactrily reslved within 3 business days, then yu shuld fllw the prcedure which is set ut belw. The Licensee will then attend t yur cmplaint, and may cntact yu fr mre infrmatin. Once the Licensee has enugh infrmatin, they will endeavur t reslve yur cmplaint in 5 business days. Step 2 If yu are nt happy with the utcme, yu may request that the Licensee s cmpliance fficer review yur cmplaint and the Licensee s prpsed reslutins. The cmpliance fficer may cntact yu fr mre infrmatin. The cmpliance fficer will cntact yu with his r her decisin. Step 3 If yu are still nt satisfied with the decisin r the Licensee des nt respnd t yu within 45 days after yu make the initial cmplaint t the Licensee, yu can cntact the Licensee s external dispute reslutin prvider, Financial Ombudsman Service ( FOS ). Cmpensatin arrangements The Licensee hlds prfessinal indemnity insurance in respect f the financial services we prvide. This prfessinal indemnity insurance cmplies with the Crpratins Act 2001 (Cth). The prfessinal indemnity insurance cvers all f the financial services we are authrised by the Licensee t prvide t yu.
