Ranganathan. In absence of Dr. Prodipto Ghosh, Prof. C. K. Varshney chaired the meeting. NET was represented by: Mr.. K. The minutes of the ccreditation Committee Meeting (XX) held on Jan 4, 2011 were considered and. ii. Internal Guidelines Empanelled experts interviewed and cleared an applicant organization (O) need not be interviewed in detail another applicant the same sectors/ functional areas. His commitment to other consultants and availability of the time the O needs to be carefully assessed. However, new sectors / functional areas, the normal process of assessment will be followed. It may also be noted that an empanelled expert can have association with maximum 5 EI Consultants at one point of time. If an empanelled expert is a full time employee of another organization, there has to be an agreement b/w the O and the other organization stating that they do not have any objection to the concerned expert being shown as empanelled with the O and that he would be available to the O whenever required. 2 iii. Postponement of Office ssessment: There have been cases of repeated postponements of Office ssessment by Os affecting the speed of assessment process. The following procedure is to be followed to avoid such delays: NET will give 10 clear days notice Office ssessment to the O in writing ( ) n pplicant Organization must confirm within 2 days suitability of the date proposed or otherwise. ny postponement will be considered by NET only on unavoidable grounds like proposed date clashing with an EC meeting / presentation to State level authorities/ public consultation. Such requests are to be supported by the O by documentary evidence In case the proposed dates are not suitable to the O, they should intimate NET within 2 days, alternate dates of Office ssessment, which should be within next 15 days of the original date proposed by NET In case an O seeking postponement fails to propose alternate dates, its application shall be kept on list and taken up after processing all applications received by NET Cases put up consideration of the Committee i.
