1 Ref.No. DCC/GAD/155A/ th April 2016 TENDER NOTICE The Dena Bank invites sealed tenders from established Firms/Companies/Agencies to provide Annual Maintenance Contract for Pest Control service in Bank s residential quarters in Mumbai. The details of quarters, service required and other terms and conditions relating to the award of contract are given in Annexure-1. Tender document is available on the website of the Bank i.e The intending bidder may download the tender documents containing the terms and conditions and submit the same along with the requested amount of Earnest Money Deposit and Tender fee in the form of crossed Demand Draft in favor of DENA BANK payable at Mumbai. Tenders recieved without the requisite EMD/Tender fee will be rejected. All interested Service providers requested to submit the sealed Tenders as per prescribed procedure to General Administration Department, 2nd floor, Dena Corporate Centre, C-10, G-block, BKC, Bandra (E) on or before hrs of The technical bid will be opened on at hrs in the presence of Bidders/Authorized Representatives. The Financial bids of only those firms shall be opened who qualify the eligibility criteria of Technical bid as stipulated in Tender documents and date of opening will be conveyed accordingly to technically qualified bidders. 3 5. SCOPE OF WORK: The selected Agency/Firm/Company shall responsible to provide annual maintenance of Pest Management Service at Bank s Residential Quarters in Mumbai. The interested parties may inspect the site of work on any day during working hours and satisfy themselves of the conditions before submitting the tenders. The rates quoted should be inclusive of all taxes, levies and other charges, if any. The rates should be mentioned in figures as well as in words. 6. VALIDITY OF CONTRACT The period of Annual Maintenance Contract shall be valid for a period from to However, the contract may be extended for a period of one year at a time on Bank s discretion and mutual consent, but overall extension after expiry can be for two (2) years only. Dena Bank, however, reserves the right to terminate the contract by giving 15 days notice without assigning any reason thereof. 7. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS A) The firm should having experience of at least 5 years in the relevant field and must doing such services for various reputed organizations/departments of Govt of India/ Public Sector Undertakings/Statutory Bodies. B) The firm should be registered under Shops & Establishment Act, Service Tax Registration/TIN/VAT Registration No. (Copy to be attached) C) The firm should have License under Insecticide Act. It is desirable to have membership with professional bodies such as India Pest Control Association. D) The firm should have a minimum turnover of Rs. 10 lakh per year during the last three years. E) The details of inputs/information required to be submitted by the firm incorporating the following details: I. Name of Office: II. Contact Person (Tel. No./ ID): 8. EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD) & TENDER FEE Earnest Money of Rs ( Rs. Twenty thousand only) and Tender fee of Rs ( Rs. Five hundred only) by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of DENA BANK payable at Mumbai. The bid security of the unsuccessful bidder will be discharged/returned subsequent to the award of Contract. The EMD of successful bidder of Rs will be converted into Interest free Security deposit which will be refunded on completion of contract. The EMD will be forfeited in case of bidder back out their bid.

4 9. Responsibilities of the Firm/Agency: I. General Pest Control which means eradication of Cockroaches, Mosquitoes, Rats, Flies, Lizards, Termites, etc. through preferably Odorless Treatment using permitted insecticides/pesticides as per prevailing norms, rules etc. of concerned authorities. II. In case of pest resurgence during contract period, interim calls, if any, should be attended to without any extra cost. 10. Submission of Tenders: I) The technical and financial bids must be submitted in separate sealed cover in the format as prescribed in Annexure-II and Annexure-III II) The EMD and Tender fee should be kept in Technical Bid envelope. III) The big envelope containing the technical along with EMD and Tender Fee and financial bid must be subscribed as Tender for AMC of Pest Management Service and be dropped in tender box kept at General Administration Department (2nd floor) by hrs of IV) Technical Bids shall be opened on at hrs in the presence of Bidders/authorized representative of Bidders. V) Commercial/Financial bids of only those bidders whose technical bids are accepted/qualified will be opened and date of opening will be conveyed accordingly to technically qualified bidders. VI) Late/Delayed tenders due to any reason, whatsoever, will not be accepted/considered. 11. Payment: No advance payment will be made. The payment will be released on the three equal installments after receipt of the bills along with service reports duly verified/certified by occupants for doing the Pest control. 12. Validity of Tender: Rates quoted by the firm shall remain valid for a period of 90 days or more. 13. TDS and any other Government Levies applicable shall be deducted on bill amount as per Government of India instruction issued from time to time. 14. DENA BANK reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the Tenders. 15. DENA BANK reserves the right to cancel the Contract any time during the currency of the Contract without assigning any reason, whatsoever, if the services provided by the firm are found to be unsatisfactory.
